Great place! I'm not a huge fan of the tiles, but color is a personal choice. Everything was great... nice kitchen, those stairs, the beam, the tall cabinets with live edge counter, all of it. Even at all in $132k seems good!
I LOVE this tiny house. The staircase is great and the laundry benchtop area is wicked. Sofia, you are an amazing person and a credit to your grandmother. Love how your dog is the centre of your world.
This was one of my favorite tinys and have to admire Sophia for not giving up after what she went through with the first so-called builder. I wish her happiness in her adorable tiny home!

I think her grandparents were very caring people to keep their home for their family to have, they could have sold it and spent all the money having fun traveling or doing whatever gave them pleasure but instead they stayed in their family home so that their family could have it for security after they were gone.
She is such a bubbly, understanding and wonderful young woman who has been through such an expensive lesson and has taken such a hard hit at such a young age. Thank heavens that her family came through for her. Not that her soulmate, her grandmother's dying was great, in fact that sounded just awful for her to loose the one person she felt that close to in life . However, the inheritance bailed her out when she desperately needed a life line. Her mother just must have felt awful putting her daughter on to that scam artist. Thankfully, it sounds like he did not taint her amazing character. It sounded like she still has a positive outlook about life and people. But you could tell by her cracking voice and her tears that this experience is still very raw for her. It may continue to be so for some time yet; though I really do hope that it does not go that way for her. It was very brave of her to go onto the internet and expose herself the way she did. That took a lot of guts. As for that piece of garbage, he's not worth the effort.

It's awful that you got ripped off. I hope that you have your eyes open and if something doesn't feel right or smell right that you pause before you act and allow you gut to guide you. I love your home. It is so well planned out. I did have a bit of a hard time spacially with where your bathroom is. It seemed to go off the side to me. (Oh well...lol...) You've got a great pup and a great place to park. Ya, finding space in LA...oh boy... I have an idea where you are - generally speaking - and it's chill and quiet. That's wonderful. Being scammed is terrible; I’m glad it worked out for you and you’re in a home and place that you love. I was scammed this spring in a huge garden redo-I’m older and needed something more manageable. The work was shoddy and I have to live with it; they milked money from me because they could (where I live hiring a landscaper takes a year for work to stop and so I felt forced to let them finish-well, I kicked them out at the first available moment and then had to scramble to get help to finish it). First time in my life I was scammed. It can happen to anyone.

In the older days these elderly couple/couples. They lived hard no money it was cheap to live there back than. They saved every penny. Not like today. They didn't throw away because they might use or someone will need it. One room at a time. Go slow money could be anywhere...

That first experience she had was awful. She is the second person I've seen on You Tube that has had problems getting a tiny house built. When I turn 60 in two years, this is my goal: tiny house living and traveling in my car. I love her Mexican decor with the tiles and bathroom sink. Very unique. Staircase is totally cool.

You could have ended up spending more money to fix it, if it was fixable. You found a great new company that did such a fantastic job. Your new home is well planned out and so homely. I love every aspect of it. I can't tell you how many times I have lost money through bad trades people. I live in hope that one day they receive the same treatment back. Beautiful house -- you did a great job in your planning. The mini-split leaking happened to me also after only about 3 years (different brand) and after assessments from a couple of different people, it was just too expensive to repair. We had to replace it. Apparently it's not uncommon. And your dog is hilarious -- he sits down just like a person. So much personality! Glad things worked out finally for you and so sorry you had to go through that scam before you ended up in a good place.
I have to call the mini-split repairperson to come check it out. Hopefully nothing too pricey 😅. Veto is the weirdest dog but apple doesn’t fall far from the tree haha

Had this happened to an older person, especially if they were retired or planning to retire, and wanted to downsize, would have been even more catastrophic. Hope you get to recoup something though. I too was scammed by the same minister and I did my homework by visiting the facility prior to the payment. 😢I’ve had to settle with an RV which I don’t thank God we’ve both preserved. Stay strong.

Being scammed is terrible; I’m glad it worked out for you and you’re in a home and place that you love. I was scammed this spring in a huge garden redo-I’m older and needed something more manageable. The work was shoddy and I have to live with it; they milked money from me because they could (where I live hiring a landscaper takes a year for work to stop and so I felt forced to let them finish-well, I kicked them out at the first available moment and then had to scramble to get help to finish it). First time in my life I was scammed. It can happen to anyone.

In the older days these elderly couple/couples. They lived hard no money it was cheap to live there back than. They saved every penny. Not like today. They didn't throw away because they might use or someone will need it.

That first experience she had was awful. She is the second person I've seen on You Tube that has had problems getting a tiny house built. When I turn 60 in two years, this is my goal: tiny house living and traveling in my car. I love her Mexican decor with the tiles and bathroom sink. Very unique. Staircase is totally cool.

Well done, it's such an adorable home. Your grandmother would be proud! I think you were lucky to have lost that money, rather than receiving a bodgy home from the first company. You could have ended up spending more money to fix it, if it was fixable. You found a great new company that did such a fantastic job. Your new home is well planned out and so homely. I love every aspect of it. I can't tell you how many times I have lost money through bad trades people. I live in hope that one day they receive the same treatment back. You keep being you, what a fantastic person you are!

Beautiful house -- you did a great job in your planning. The mini-split leaking happened to me also after only about 3 years (different brand) and after assessments from a couple of different people, it was just too expensive to repair. We had to replace it. Apparently it's not uncommon.
And your dog is hilarious -- he sits down just like a person. So much personality!
Glad things worked out finally for you and so sorry you had to go through that scam before you ended up in a good place.
I have to call the mini-split repairperson to come check it out. Hopefully nothing too pricey 😅. Veto is the weirdest dog but apple doesn’t fall far from the tree haha

You were meant to find those kind new builders. $2,000 seems like an extremely good price for moving a tiny home from Colorado to California. The best thing about your home for me is how they built the stairs to get up into the bedroom, that's a genius use of space.

Had this happened to an older person, especially if they were retired or planning to retire, and wanted to downsize, would have been even more catastrophic. Hope you get to recoup something though.
