@@JoseArteagaTravels your welcome brother!
It's definitely curious as to why anti parasite meds aren't a normal thing in the US. We "worm" our pets [that share our furniture] but not ourselves🤯
Exactly! When we take the meds we also use the opportunity to give it to Gizmo "our dog" as well
I am looking forward to your video on apostle, I know a little but it is great to hear from someone who lives there and has experience that anyone moving needs to know. Thank you.
Awesome!
Now this is the stuff I want to know! Thanks.
Awesome! Glad it was helpful!
Great video bud... thank you...for all your help... great vids
Thanks brother much appreciated
Thx for the video Jose 👍
Your very welcome!
Yep it was the Kennetic's I took one myself, not long ago..!
Yeah man those are life changers! There are many kinds, took me awhile to find the best one that suited me but yeah they are must haves every 6 months! Gizmo also gets his own version!
Where are the gas stations ? What fuel do they use to cook or heat? Do they have supermarket's?
Check out my other videos to see all that! Yes we have Gas Stations. We mainly use Gas to cook and there are tons of Supermarkets and regular marl=kets all over the place
Great video! We are arriving in Merida tomorrow to meet a realtor to look at some properties. It looks like you were near the La Plancha area. How is it there? Thanks for all your updates. They are great.
Awesome! It's great!
Question, you live in the centro, I'm unsure what neighbourhood, where is the BIG MALL you cycle to? Love the VLOG Keep up the great work
The malls are everywhere so just look at the map and find them! There are many many malls of all kinds here in Merida
No fire hydrants. What happens there's a fire? No local buses? Do house have numbers? Do most houses have flat roofs?
Great Question! Correct there are no Fire Hydrants but there are similar hook ups available for the Fire Department to use. As for busses there are TONS of busses! Check out my other videos to see and hear them. In fact public transportation is a major part of every Mexican city. Last question, out here the roofs are not completely flat everything is built on an angle and they use physics here to drain water off the roof, or create water pressure for the showers and so on and so fourth. So yes there is proper drainage on people's roof's out here, after all it is a tropical climate. Hope all that helped answer your questions!
Thanks for replying to my inquiry. I'm my afollower keep providing info for us wanting to find are roots.
Houses and buildings are made out concrete so house fires are not common, if lighting hits the house it won't catch on fire if a plug in burns it won't catch the wall on fire, if you burn your food while cooking only thing that burn is the food and might smoke the wall and ceiling but just wash it and you can back in business the next day
Apostile is not recognized by Canada.
Thank you for the info!
SLAYER!!! \m/
You know it!
Hi Jose. Where do I get the medicine for parasites?
At any local pharmacy or major grocery store. Just ask for "Pastilla Desparacitante" Anti parasite Pill
@@JoseArteagaTravels thank you very much Jose. I have a question for you. Do you think I can get temporary residency here in Mexico? Is possible to turn 180 day tourist visa to temporary residency? I get social security but it doesn't meet the financial requirements.
@@circlestar8697 Yes you will be fine just make sure to hire someone to help you with all that
Que bolá cubiche saludos desde Argentina (el argentino from Miami)😂

Thanks!
Ok, so parasite meds….where do you get them and what exactly do you ask them for ?
Any shots we should get before moving to Mexico ? Thx !
No shots needed to travel to Mexico and as for the parasite meds they are called "Desparasitantes"
I thought apostilled was like a notary or getting a form certified. Like a certified birth certficate or an apostilled letter from social security showing how much your check will be every month, or a certified marriage certificate. Am I wrong ? Thanks very much !
Actually I honestly have no idea but i know you can find more information online by doing a quick Google search. Just wanted to let people know that some of you might need it and some might not. Hope that helps!
@@lobosolo3215
Ok, sooooo if I call the state and get a certified birth certificate, then what ?
And we got married in Costa Rica ? We have a certified marriage document….how do I get it apostilled ? Thanks !
@@lobosolo3215
Fantastic ! Thank you so much !
Anything else we may need to get done besides birth and marriage cert ?
Jose, how many apostilled documents should we take with us for each marriage license and birth certificates? We are planning to purchase a home during our trip and become residents while staying out there.
Just one of each is plenty as far as i know. But i would ask a profesional especially if you plan on doing multiple things out here
@@JoseArteagaTravels , thank you Jose.
My appointment for permanent residency is in 2 weeks. I am now scared I can’t get apostille by then. Will they deny me? Or can I wait til arrival to get it done? Oh crap. Everything has seal from state. IE: birth certificates and marriage certificate. Oh damn, I’m nervous. It’s first appointment in states, not 2nd in Mexico at INM
You will be fine! If they didn't ask for it then you don't need it as far as I know. If you have already dealt with them and they never mentioned it and you have everything they asked for then you should be fine. The Apostille is for when you need to prove you are who you are for certain transactions abroad. But I would inquire more just in case. Also you can get things done almost overnight if you contact these fine people who helped me when I did mine www.onesourceprocess.com/
You should be ok I think, the important thing is to have the financial papers to show solvency and the 2 page form filled out... I haven't heard of needing the birth certificate unless you have kids that need to get residency as dependents.
After u get residency stamp you have 6 months to go to MX and once you get there you have 1 month to start the 2nd step.
From what I'm hearing, they grill you at most consulates about "why you want to move to MX" - make sure you prepare for that question and have several things to say...
Good luck!
Which consulate do u go to? can you reply back after you get it and tell us how it went?
@@yestohappiness2721 Thank you for clearing that up!
Thanks guys. I really appreciate you. Jose, you make the BEST videos
@@JoseArteagaTravels I literally got my permanent card yesterday. Didn't need a birth cert or apostille. I hadn't heard about it until now. Went to Mcallen Texas consulate. They looked at bank statements other accounts. I was worried since I was 61 and haven't gotten social security. Everything went fine. Got the card at INM in Polanco Mexico City. Its pretty cool they have immigration lawyers hawking around outside trying to get business. But they also have like magazine and cigarette stands that have computers and printers to fix mistakes. I made a couple errors had to use them. But the agents and people in the consulate are all nice. Good Luck. Jose thanks for the tip on the parasites I have been told to get it.
now you're making me rethink my status.... Temp Res vs Tourist Visa.
Yeah man get that green card!
@@JoseArteagaTravels well I’m thinking the other way… do I NEED it?
I mean. I don’t plan on buying any property, and have insurance through VA. So yeah, have to look at the cost/benefit
@@AmputeeAdventures with a temporary visa you can go without renewing your immigration status for up to 4-5 years. While the temporary visa must be renewed every 6 months. So it all depends on the individual
@@JoseArteagaTravels Exactly. Main benefit, don't have to travel. but a one week vacay to Belize beach doesn't sound that bad twice a year. ;)
Bike sounded more like a skateboard. 😆. Next up... Pavement dog sledding. 😝
Woof woof!
Hi José! I sent you an email asking you a few questions! Could you please check your spam inbox in case you received it there? Thanks a lot!
Awesome! just responded!
@@JoseArteagaTravels thank you so much!! I will reply to you in a moment.
Parasites are fairly rare in the USA, however they are very common in Mexico and your chances of getting them are high. I know from experience.
Right.....
I have lived in Mexico for over a year, traveled around the country, visited here various times before and I have never gotten any parasites nor has anyone that I know personally. So to say they are very common is an over statement but sure they do exist.
@@jarellgaddy8587 From what i understand we all have them and it just depends on the person. Some people never treat it and others do. It's not something that you have to do, just saying it's common in some parts of Mexico and latin America
😮Again empty streets.. where are the people..?
