How to make your own 3D scanner spray in your shed

  • In this video we use a DIY Scanner spray to highlight the cracks in a Black Bear Mud Terrain Tyre and show you the before and after.
    Scanned with the Ferret 3D Scanner by Creality we expose the deep tyre cracking in the Guant 2 mud tyre.

    Good idea,but it doesn't evaporate which is one of the main points of most scanning sprays

    Thanks for the ratio but is that actual talcum powder or is it the cornstarch version aka Talc-Free, talcum powder.

    Looks like the tire did not have any problem scanning without spray.

      The tyre certainly had enough texture to scan without the spray, The spray did make a difference in the details of the Cracks in the Black Bear Tyres

      No I havnt, i think it would depend on how polished the paint is. How did you go?
