A true masterpiece. Fantastic ending. This journey has been an incredible experience, thank you all so much for tagging along for the ride. (Yes I know Agro is a girl but I accidentally referred to her as a ‘he’ at the end.) Also, please read the description for those wondering why I kept looking at my camera during the cutscenes. Thank you all so much for the kind words, it's overwhelming to see all the love from you guys and I wish I could reply to each and every one of you so just know I appreciate every comment
You think it will stay with you as an all time fave? it did for me, this whole universe they created in these 3 games has captured me :) when I first played SOTC on ps2 I remember that week playing after work instead of doing other things LOL, it was around the same time that I fount my fave guitarist and his work, including songs that fit this world so beautifully. This game really effected me to say the least, Imagine having a love you'd do anything for......
36:15 I've seen a lot of reactions Agro's fall and this is the most emotional one to me. It goes from pure enjoyment to terror, silent grief and two of silence and just tears. Viewers, try to hold your tears, i barely can't. 😢 I really love this game.
As a rule of thumb you can generally tell how big a heart someone has by how they react to the Agro jump. You seem like a very bighearted person, bless you.
Shadow of the Colossus should silence people that think videogames cannot be art. Any media that can elicit a emotional reaction like you and many others have experienced at Argos death is proof games can be art.
john o always tought the same, but not only Agro; each colossi's defeat; every part of the forbidden lands, and the soundtrack!! Just art in every aspect of the game.
People often say "I wish I had never played [game] so I can experience it for the first time." For me, Shadow of the Colossus is the only game that I can always go back to and immediately feel that same wonderment as I did back in 2008 when I first played this on a PS2. Favorite game of all time, hands down. That ending especially left me so emotionally drained.
@@itswrongtokillanimalsifyou2837 In my experience, I fell a bunch of times there. So couple that with the many other awful moments of controlling Agro, I was happy that it fell xD
I remember having so many ethical and psychological debates during my first playthrough of this masterpiece. Especially around the mid-game. At first I'm playing this as a player, after defeating a few colossus, I find myself debating on the consequences of my actions, in game, while riding to the next colossus, testing my resolve, arguing over the moral right to kill these magnificent colossi, even weighing the girl's resurrection against my own dedication to complete these trials. The vast emptiness and wonderous scenery of this forbidden paradise gave you real pause and time to be reflective or pensive throughout the game. Something very few games can do. Those feelings and conflicts with our conscience made us connect with Wander on such a profound level that we were completing this quest; not as us playing as Wander, but us being Wander. I'm sure we were all tearing when Agro returned at the end. More so than Wander's reincarnation/rebirth, I was most surprised that Dormin; who we had believed to be a demon so terrible, his spirit was split into 16 pieces to be sealed away, having such resentment and spite against his imprisonment, KEPT HIS WORD. A villain... honoured his end of the bargain by resurrecting Mono. Making me believe Dormin is not as wicked as he was made out to be. Which just started up another inward debate about who was truly evil. The villagers, Dormin, Wander, Mono? But this is just my own opinion. Still, one of the most incredible games ever made.
This is my favorite game, and probably will be forever. The way it messes with not just your emotions but your sense of morality, and toys with the idea that all things have both a light side and a dark side. As you kill each colossi Wander absorbs the dark side and Mono absorbs the light, Wander is surrounded by shadow shadow people and Mono is surrounded by doves, and in the end you are the bad guy, not Wander, not Dormin, not Lord Emon, you the player. I truly love this game.
“If someone’s disturbing you from a nap, you’re gonna be angry.” Man, I can’t even tell you how pissed I’d be to find a mouse climbing all over me and stabbing me in the head with a toothpick.
I'd never thought i would literally become a big fan of any content creator that quick by just seeing her/his pure legit reaction on a masterpiece like that
Absolutely unforgettable. Every time I go through it, I get the same feels -- it really is a masterpiece! Really glad you enjoyed it as much as we did.
OMG... your reaction to Agro falling... without any word you made it clear how important she is. In the end is your only "friend" in this desolate and devastated land. PD: However, see you crying makes me feel bad, so I want to send you a big hug
Recuerdo jugarlo y llorar solo en mi casa. Porque siempre me sentí bien jugando lo. Y no quería terminarlo. Pero lo termine y llore como ella. Con la caída de agro recuerdo deprimirme mucho , tanto que apague la play y no seguí jugando en ese momento 😅
Does anybody notice at the end that dormin was only talking in male voice only? The female half went in mono to bring her back, dormin went into wonder.
You are an incredibly deep feeling human being. Your reactions to Agro are exactly what I felt, more than ten years ago. Thank you so much for sharing, and being so open to all us viewers in your emotions.
Hello NukaEle. I am writing to you from Chile, Latinamerica. I've always liked this game, but a lot. I played it when I was about 11 or 12 years old and didn't understand much of things. He didn't quite understand why Wander did what he did. Then I grew up and just like Wander I know what love is, I know what it is to defeat giant Colossi and overcome some of the most difficult tests of your life. I know what a loss means and to wish the best for someone when you have to separate, just as Wander separates from his love and Agro from him, everything, everything so that they are well. This game is a masterpiece as you say and to this day, at 26 years old, I am still in love with this game. I love everything. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. Thank you. I don't speak your language, I speak Spanish and I understand little of what you say.
I subscribed to you because of your reaction to the end of The Last Guardian. I'm very happy I found your channel because you seem to have a gentle heart and a kind soul. Your reactions in this video around 36:28 and 1:11:45 are perfect. It breaks my heart but it's wonderful to see someone who cares. You allow yourself to flow in these universes, and are rewarded with these emotional moments. Don't ever lose that ability. I wish you nothing but the best with your channel and in your personal life.
Ever since I played SotC on the PS2 way back in the day it’s sat comfortably as my favorite game ever. But I never thought it was a game that would make for good let’s plays. Because there’s so much empty space and silence, I thought having someone else fill it up with their thoughts would ruin it in a way. I’m happy to say that you’ve proven me very very wrong. This was a wonderful series and you’ve absolutely done this game justice. It was clear early on that you were absorbing it and really trying to think about what the game was trying to do. This is a game you can only experience for the first time once, but seeing you struggle and triumph over each colossi, take in the mysterious landscapes and wonder at their purpose, and slowly grow attached to your one and only companion was as close as I’ll ever get to experiencing it blind again. Shadow of The Colossus is a one of a kind game and I think you’ve shown a lot of new people just why that is, as well reminding us returning players. You’ve done a great job with this series Ele, can’t wait to see what you do next.
This was my first PS2 game as a kid & made me realize video games are a form of art. It has been my favorite to this day and it brings tears to my eyes to see it had such an impact on you as well
Dormin says at the start of the game, "the price will be heavy" and wander replies "it doesn't matter". he knew how high to costs were even if the player forgot during the game lol which i love that, it's like um remember guys it is time now
The first time I ever played Shadow of the Colossus was in 2006, days before the game release in English, and in that time the game was really amazing and unique, even with so many games for ps2. Through the years I've forgot the feelings of a first time adventure in SOTC, seen you play made me remember the difficulties I had to find the solutions to defeat the colossus, and the feelings of seeing Agro fall in that bridge; that end is still special for me, even after so many years, It is the conclusion of a big work of art made of music, images, metaphors, and connections between the player and that universe, indeed one of the best games of all times, thank you for sharing your first experience playing SOTC with us.
Hello, I met your channel this week, I saw your videos, including this one, and I confess that I was thrilled with your reactions, when Agro falls into the water and then when he returns at the end. My eyes filled with tears with you rsrs.
when Aggro Returned, awwww was beautiful :) I really have enjoyed your playthough , it truly is nice to see someone really appreciate this game and all the feels , the ending theme "the sunlit earth" still grabs my heart with a full grip meter
I was so sad that Wander could not meet with Mono again as how he was before turning into a baby, I still remember how emotional it was to see Agro coming back, this is the kind of game that you never forget, it's so well done, even if the game is short and has not a lot of narrative, it's still so strong. Time for some Ico now, it's more of a puzzle game like The Last Guardian, I'm looking forward to it. :)
I know this video is quite old at this stage, but I wanted to say thanks for covering this sublime game and sharing your emotional journey. I've played this beyond count and can't even remember my first experience with the original game! I know that sounds odd to say but I really have had so many emotional journeys with this game over the years that they have overlapped and formed layered memories like soil over generations. Watching your genuine emotional response was cathartic and brought me back to a feeling like playing this for the first time again. Thank you
I played this when it first came out on PS2 back in the day. (Hell! was it really 17 years ago?) I'd already played "Ico" by the same game designer, so I expected a lot from Shadow of the Colossus, and my hopes were fulfilled in more ways than I could have expected. I loved the way the emotion came over you when Agro was lost, and then again when he returned, but the emotions I felt more were the feelings of regret, ultimate defeat and (surprisingly) guilt at the end of the game. I can't honestly say I've ever played a game before where the things I've caused the playing character to do, have left me with any feeling of guilt, let alone the immense feeling of guilt I felt at the climax of Shadow of the Colossus. It's certainly the best game EVER on any Playstation in many senses, not least in terms of atmosphere, and I'd still be playing it today, if a) I hadn't lent it to my niece's son when he got a PS2 for Christmas, and b) if a couple of years later, the little bugger hadn't sold it with his PS2 when he caught the Xbox bug! There's a school of thought that says that "Shadow of the Colossus" is actually a kind of prequel to "Ico" - that the baby that's left behind after Wanda has gone is actually Ico, that he's raised to adolescence by Mono and then escapes from the forbidden land, only to be the boy with horns that's captured and imprisoned in the same castle where the princess Yorda has also been imprisoned by her mother. If you haven't played Ico, you should try to get a copy compatible with your particular PlayStation model. It doesn't have quite the depth of Shadow of the Colossus, but there's a similar atmosphere throughout, and the puzzle solving aspects of the game are very intense.
Easily the most endearing moment I've ever seen of any person playing a game on UA-cam was when you reacted to Agro being alive. I immediately subscribed to your channel when I saw that (which was when you posted this video, but I've watched it countless times since). Thank you for taking me on that journey, again and again. :)
Definitely one of my all time favorite games. I played it shortly after it came out. I'm really glad to know new people are still discovering this masterpiece.
Now when you go back and watch the opening of the game again, the music and what is happening will feel so much more because you know that from that point on his journey will come with burden for the women he loves.
I wouldn't necessarily take the view that Dormin was evil. It was upfront and did state that the price would be high, and it did keep its word by resurrecting Mono, plus it did effectively give Wander a second chance at life too. So i don't think it's as black and white as it seems. If you ever do decide to play Ico, the connection to Shadow will become immediately apparent beside the fact that it is its prequel.
It's hard to tell who's good and evil and I love that. Wander knew the lands he was traveling to were forbidden and dangerous. He was specifically seeking Dormin to bring Mono back. Dormin states it can do that if Wander defeats all the Colossi but the price will be high. Wander doesn't care at all, he's single minded and selfish in his goal. Emon and his guards arrive to make sure "Evil" doesn't escape. However Dormin accuses Emon (possibly humans in general) of severing its body into 16 pieces, which is the event that forced earth, stone, sand, and other things to become Colossi. The Colossi were not native to that land, and they all had a piece of Dormin in them. Also Emon knew of Dormin (hardly surprising, he's a shaman of Wanders people and Wander knew of Dormin), and we know for a fact Mono was killed. It's suspected she was sacrificed by Emon for some reason, but either way Emon may not be the good guy despite sealing away "evil". Dormin is clearly a deity of some kind. Dormin is associated with shadows and controlling the dead. However Dormin never lies, and Dormin fulfills its end of the agreement with Wanader. No one knows what occured to make humans split Dormin into 16 pieces to seal its power. The best guess is that some bad event occurred or some humans viewed Dormins dominion over the dead as dangerous or scary. Humans had to have lived in the Forbidden lands for quite a long time for them to build those massive structures. Was Dormin there the whole time as Humans built and lived? Was it a group of zealots who rebelled against Dormin? We will never know anything outside of the Forbidden Lands having been lived in long ago. The only innocents in the story are Mono (ya know, probably) and Aggro. Everything else is drenched in mystery and someone conflicted viewpoints on the whole event that was Dormin being split into 16 pieces. It's fascinating to think about, and it's a shame there aren't some more clues. But damn it's pretty complex for a relatively short game with limited story elements.
Thank you for this! Since I first played SotC on PS2 (and then again and again on PS3 (regular and stereoscopic) I’ve never been able to get those feels from my first blind play though. It’s been a pleasure going through this with you and experiencing the emotions again through your reactions.
*hugs* You were so happy when you realised you needed Agro to cross that bridge. Them feels flipped straight away. And kick in once again when you see Agro alive. Don't worry, it gets everyone. Congratulations on completing one of the most epic games ever created.
Any time I'm feeling really down and sad and need to just let some tears out I find myself coming back to this video. The sadness you felt was just so sincere it really helps to cry along with you.
Truely a fantastic game. I remember playing it on the PS2 back in the days but I've never completed it. Watching you playing it really made me wanna play it again. Many of the colossi are really awesome and some were very challenging to beat. You probably agree there. One thing's for sure it always felt wrong to kill them all. Maybe some "internal rage" made it a bit easier but it felt wrong nonetheless. :) I never expected an ending like that. The best thing after all in my opinion was that Agro survived, badly injured maybe but she survived. It made me feel way better in the end. thank you! see you next time.
You're supposed to grab the stairs and cling on as your stamina slowly dwindles out and you can resist the pull no further. Unfortunately they left in the bunnyhopping to freedom glitch which people nearly always come across first and never try out the grip/stamina button that they've spent all game building up.
Agro and Trico are my pet favorite ever. Fumito break hearts Ueda. Congratulations NukaEle for best emotional video im channel. I remember The Last Guardian
Having played this back when it first came out on the PlayStation 2, it has been one of my favourite games ever. I’m glad that it got the remake that it deserved and a whole new fan base. Keep up the awesome game plays, loving the reactions NukaEle :)
New sub here (1st video) ...your reaction to Agro was so real ...now I’m about to watch from the very beginning, just wanted to leave this comment first
You should play the game, bro. It's incredible. It has been my favorite game ever since it's debut on the PS2. Such a shame that you watched the final cuts before seeing the actual journey.
Um jogo lindo que marcou a minha vida. Ver a sua emoção com a "morte" da Agro e com o retorno dela mais ao final, me trouxe a memória a minha própria emoção quando terminei o Shadow. Parabéns!!!
I got this game for ps4 without having played the original as I was too young when it came out. The ending killed me emotionally and I cried too because it’s so tragic. I’ve been getting all the trophies and aiming for the platinum and it honestly gets me more than it did the first time. There are only now 2 games that have made me full on cry which are sotc and last guardian. This game is a masterpiece and a true classic, now I understand why everyone says that and to think a game could never make me emotional lol I take that all back now haha. Keep up the good content. You’ve gained a new sub 😀
I discovered this videos maybe a year ago, but I must say I can't help coming back to it because it was so moving, true emotions captured on film. I may have raged a couple of times because you didn't got the habits of a gamer in previous episodes (searching for the vitals without the sword, seeing a path to climb on a colossi but not getting it, etc.), but that last episode killed me (in a good way). Thank you.
Every time I play the game now, after having completed it originally in 2005, then 2011 and now in 2018, I roam the map and see parts of the land that may have included deleted Colossi. Just this feeling alone is both haunting and mysterious, in a good way. The fact that there are old screenshots/videos of the deleted Colossi endorse these feelings and become somewhat true. One of my all time favourite games ever made. And it's unbelievable that this was initially a PS2 game, and better than a lot of PS3/PS4 games out there today! With the new remake/remaster whatever you wish to call it, the game has aged very well.
Two things about this game. 1-it is enjoyable to experience isso storyline, piece of art. 2-theres no way to describe when I see other people having the same reaction I had back in 2006 when I first played it.
Shadow of the Colossus is actually considered to be a spiritual precursor to the developers original game: Ico. A game about a a boy who is born with horns who's banished from his home village for believing to be cursed. The ending makes a lot more sense with that context. Ico chronologically takes places many many years after the events of Shadow of the Colossus. Some theories suggest Ico is a descendent of Wander.
Straight up just started crying watching you beat this game, and I've beaten it four times. You are an incredibly talented, immersive and entertaining steamer. +1 sub for me
I came here for 2 reasons, one - reaction to 36:14, and 2 how you feel about Agro! :) A true companion! Plus, in the beginning of the game, Dormin mentions that the price is high...now you know. Loved your reaction at 1:11:47. You got yourself a subscriber. On 1:13:30; "how do you explain?" Best way for me to explain is that is a BEAUTIFUL game.
There are fan theories galore about the connection between this game and Ico, the first game in the series. Shadow of the Colossus is a prequel to Ico, or at least precedes it in the timeline. And in Ico, you play as a young boy with horns. That's not to say the boy is Wander, but surely he is connected in some way.
There are no plot connections between the games, only THEMATIC connections. The creator has said so. The same way that same name locations, same character names, chocobos, etc. are found throughout all Final Fantasy games. They're all completely different games in different universes, but they all maintain certain themes that connect them; it's what makes them a Final Fantasy game. It's the same with Ico, Shadow, and Last Guardian. They're just connected by the same themes that makes each one a Team Ico game, but that's it.
Hey faffywaffle, how about you stop spreading false information? The two games do take place in the same universe, as confirmed by the director Fumito Ueda. *"Wired News:* Is there any connection between the worlds of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus? *Fumito Ueda:* There's no specific connection as far as a timeline. But, both games exist in the same world. *WN:* But you've said the baby we see at the end of Colossus is the first "baby born with horns" referred to in the backstory of Ico. *FU:* Yes. I wanted to give some idea to the player, after you complete the game, that there was a connection to Ico. That's why I put in the baby with the horns. If somebody goes all the way through the game, I wanted them to be rewarded." Source: web.archive.org/web/20060629071507/www.wired.com/news/technology/0,70286-0.html And if that's not enough "Yes, users have thought that Shadow of the Colossus is a prequel to ICO, and that’s my idea as well." - Fumito Ueda Source: web.archive.org/web/20060903065641/www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200602/N06.0216.1853.30213.htm Both games also use the exact same fictional language. Everything points to SotC being a prequel, with ICO taking place at least a couple hundred years later.
But Ueda also said that all his games are part of the same universe. It means they share a timeline... maybe thousands of years from one another , but there are more than thematic connections.. The rings in the desert of the 13th colossus ( Phalanx ) are exactly the same rings in Ico's Castle. There are TLG and Ico's easter eggs in the ps4 version of SotC...
actually , Ueda has part in the remake... he sent Bluepoint some notes and suggestions of things he wanted to do in the original version , but didn't... I honestly believe that the Sword Of Dormin was his idea... maybe the golden relics weren't , but i believe the sword was.. and i think that this ''goat mistery'' is VERY Ueda's style... let's wait and see.
I am sure "Shadow of the Colossus" will always be one of my all time favorite videos games besides the original Final Fantasy 7. True masterpieces indeed.
Beautiful reaction to the finale. This was such a well done game. The PS2 version wrapped me up into the story and it has remained my favorite game to this day. I literally bought a PS4 Pro just for this remake. Thank you for posting your reaction to one of the best games ever made. Well done.
Dammit, I told myself I wasn't gonna cry, but then you started sobbing... This game reminds me of the movie "The NeverEnding Story". Highly recommended since you liked this game so much.
I first played Shadow of the Colossus back in 2012, when I got to Agro's fall, I got so enraged by it that I ended up unleashing every ounce of fury I had on Malus. Lol. This is definitely my favorite game of all time.
I wish I could experience this game for the first time like you did, but I played it tons of times back on the PS2 and then the PS3, I am glad you appreciate its beauty.
After breaking down completely to Last Guardian, I searched UA-cam for reactions. That's when I found your channel. I came for Last Guardian, I stayed for things like this. You are so genuine and pure in your reactions. After binge watching the entire series today, it was fantastic to see you react to one of my favourite games of all time. Also - Shadow of the Colossus is theoretically a prequel to Ico. Wander caused the curse that made Ico become exiled. The horns are the mark of the curse.
Just finished watching your playthrough, didn't get to play this remake but I played the og in ps2, both ways are without a doubt an incredible experience. Glad to see a player enjoying it that much and catching the details that devs put in this magnificent game, your reactions are truly priceless! My favorite thing for this game is the OST, always make me emotional and inspired, simply a masterpiece.
I played this game when it was originally released on PS2, it was a very emotional experience, definitely one of the best video games that i've ever played in my life.
I relived the moments after nearly more than 10 years watching your game play with your emotions and expressions 😍 Thank you very much for uploading the video.. 🤞
The feels with agro is real for everyone that plays this game! I cried when I was a little kid and I still cry as a 27 year old man! That is a scene that is always hard for me to watch!
I always know the true test if a games story has genuine impact, and thats when you replay it. I've beaten this game across all it's platforms dozens of times, and every time it hits just as hard. Losing Agro always catches me off guard even though I know it's coming, I just lose track of it until it happens. Even just watching this I felt it, a true testament to how immersed you can get into a story even though there is barely any narrative to it. It's something only a video game can do, because it was the player living the story that wrote it, and no other medium can bring that kind of experience. I can't wait till 10-15 years from now when team ICO comes out with their 4th game.
Great game play (and emotional rollercoaster!). You seem to have finished much less agitated and frustrated than many other players. Thanks for sharing it!
Hiya, I just recently subscribed. SotC is my favorite video game. I beat the Last Guardian back in Dec. It’s the main reason I got a PS4. Anyway, I love your personality and your voice. It’s so pleasant. Cheers
An amazing game. When I finally finished playing the original all those years ago it was very late at night. And when that hawk flew up and away from the castle..................man....that was rough. And seeing you cry had the same effect...............(Dont-ever-change.) And we should all applaud Ko Otani for a brilliant soundtrack. This is some of the greatest music I have ever heard.
If you go back try to take notice when you kill a colossi a light shines down from the sky. When you are fighting Mallus the last one, he has actually watched you kill the others, and that is why unlike the ones before, he attacks you. This game has so many levels
Hello, I Played "Shadow of the colossus" for the first time on PS 2, then PS 3, now on PS 4, unforgetable experience, Love the oportunity to see how other people enjoy it as much as I do, thanks. I recommend "Rime" another beautiful and emotional game. greetings!
A true masterpiece. Fantastic ending. This journey has been an incredible experience, thank you all so much for tagging along for the ride. (Yes I know Agro is a girl but I accidentally referred to her as a ‘he’ at the end.)
Also, please read the description for those wondering why I kept looking at my camera during the cutscenes.
Thank you all so much for the kind words, it's overwhelming to see all the love from you guys and I wish I could reply to each and every one of you so just know I appreciate every comment

btw it's 4am Saturday here in Australia, I've stayed up waiting for you and another youtuber to post your final vids of this :)
NukaEle Can you play Red Dead Redemption next?
shredBucketheadshred I’m guessing we watch the same people. Is the other one Marz?
36:15 I've seen a lot of reactions Agro's fall and this is the most emotional one to me. It goes from pure enjoyment to terror, silent grief and two of silence and just tears. Viewers, try to hold your tears, i barely can't. 😢 I really love this game.
As a rule of thumb you can generally tell how big a heart someone has by how they react to the Agro jump. You seem like a very bighearted person, bless you.
Omg she's got to of cried at these heartwarming comments
Or maybe they just don't care that much because they know it is a video game.
@@SourStrawberrysnobody loves you
@idontknowleavemealone8939 Whatever you say kid. Lol if that is what helps you sleep at night. Sure.
Fuck Agro. You know what got me emotional? The music. One of the best soundtracks of any piece of media ever.
@@Walamonga1313 fuck Agro? nuuuu :c
they are considered one of the arts. music and video other. so they got multiple arts within
Sending you hugs for your reaction to Agro!
What's incredible about the ending is that it seems to hit this sweet spot between a happy and tragic ending. Triumph and loss intertwined.
Jubel Brosseau that's fumito yueda hha he loves to torture us. alls this 3 games are like that. love this. ico was kinda diferent
Like FFX did 🔥
That is what's great about this game tho
Wanda is a tragic Hero but he is also a tragic villain.
Bittersweet ending
People often say "I wish I had never played [game] so I can experience it for the first time." For me, Shadow of the Colossus is the only game that I can always go back to and immediately feel that same wonderment as I did back in 2008 when I first played this on a PS2. Favorite game of all time, hands down. That ending especially left me so emotionally drained.
Your reaction to both Agro's fall and her ultimate return brings me to tears every time. Clearly you love animals as much as I do.
Your reactions were genuinely touching -- so happy to see a new generation experience a monumental game that some of us cried over back on the PS2.
Yep I wonder if there will be a ps5 version that would be awesome
Still the best game ever made, used to get stuck on Basaran when i was a kid.
I have bought this game in ps2, ps3 and ps4. Stills getting emotional...
YES PS2 MEMORIES FOREVER
36:20 I just love how she was all hyped "let's do this agro" and then it happens XDDD
Manuel Gil lmao
From :-D to :'(
Props to the developer for setting it up that way. One emotion immediately followed by almost its exact opposite!
Hahaha
What an interesting remark.
“If someone’s disturbing you from a nap, you’re gonna be angry.”
Man, I can’t even tell you how pissed I’d be to find a mouse climbing all over me and stabbing me in the head with a toothpick.
Haha ikr imagine that
I'd never thought i would literally become a big fan of any content creator that quick by just seeing her/his pure legit reaction on a masterpiece like that
Absolutely unforgettable. Every time I go through it, I get the same feels -- it really is a masterpiece! Really glad you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Yeah ofc it's a masterpiece exactly like the last guardian and ico
41:02
It was like :
"My horse is dead, i don't even care if i die too at this point"
well the polygon horse sacrificed it's digital life to save your virtual ass. So the least you can do is go through with your goal. Just sayin'....
Yeah that's very true lol
OMG... your reaction to Agro falling... without any word you made it clear how important she is. In the end is your only "friend" in this desolate and devastated land.
PD: However, see you crying makes me feel bad, so I want to send you a big hug
This game is simply a masterpiece. Ageless.
Yes
Yes I did and I thought that was clever and also pretty unnoticeable
It's almost as if Dormin is not really an entity but more like a force of nature.
You are an incredibly deep feeling human being. Your reactions to Agro are exactly what I felt, more than ten years ago. Thank you so much for sharing, and being so open to all us viewers in your emotions.
Anyone who has ever lost a pet, knows exactly how this feels.
Ya somos 2 amigo, amo este juego con todo mi corazón. Cuídate
Omg wow I bet you made her cry again
just seeing your reaction to Agro killed me :(
I think the moment hit me even harder seeing her reaction than it did for me when I first experienced it myself (which is really saying something)
Relived memories from 5 years back.
I am literally up till 4am in the morning watching this video!
This game is pure gold.
The boy with horn... Your answer is Fumito Ueda's first game: Ico.
Played this when I was 11... It's been 12 years and still crying with the end.
Its not only your brain who can remember, but your soul too.
One of the best games I have played in ps2 💗 thank you for playing this game 🙂
Any time I'm feeling really down and sad and need to just let some tears out I find myself coming back to this video. The sadness you felt was just so sincere it really helps to cry along with you.
I played this game around 2006 on ps2. 12 years ago. Still, Agro scene and your tears made me cry as well. cheers
OUCH! I always find it hard to watch people play this part, especially when I know what's coming for them.
I never expected an ending like that. The best thing after all in my opinion was that Agro survived, badly injured maybe but she survived. It made me feel way better in the end.
thank you! see you next time.
This is my favourite game of all time. Thank you for playing and sharing your experience. I appreciate it.
Your reaction makes these scenes even more moving !
Thanks from France for this beautiful video :)
Your silence............................ I shed manly tears :) EVEN tho I knew
Oh that's exactly the same as my dad he always cries abit at that seen lol don't worry
@@themaster1727 scene* :P
I'm glad that i'm not the only one who cried about Agro. What a terrific companion. At the end she threw Wander to save him
New sub here (1st video) ...your reaction to Agro was so real ...now I’m about to watch from the very beginning, just wanted to leave this comment first
You should play the game, bro. It's incredible. It has been my favorite game ever since it's debut on the PS2. Such a shame that you watched the final cuts before seeing the actual journey.
It really is a masterpiece of a game
@@palehorse1511 I played the game in a day and it was amazing
Así son las obras maestra, transmiten sentimientos que perduran como colosos en nuestra memoria.
The best reaction to aggros “death”. Congratulations on ur sensibility.
Two things about this game. 1-it is enjoyable to experience isso storyline, piece of art. 2-theres no way to describe when I see other people having the same reaction I had back in 2006 when I first played it.
31:56 Agro, are you coming with? 'Forshadowing'
My thought exactly
Shadow of the Colossus is actually considered to be a spiritual precursor to the developers original game: Ico. A game about a a boy who is born with horns who's banished from his home village for believing to be cursed. The ending makes a lot more sense with that context. Ico chronologically takes places many many years after the events of Shadow of the Colossus. Some theories suggest Ico is a descendent of Wander.
Straight up just started crying watching you beat this game, and I've beaten it four times. You are an incredibly talented, immersive and entertaining steamer. +1 sub for me
I played this so many years ago in the PS2 and still makes me cry that scene in the bridge....
Shadow of the colossus is one of those games which is just have a feeling of its own ! Its like a memory a beautiful memory i never wish to erase it .
Billy Becks i thought he meant to became a baby at the end. did he knew agro would die. ? is that what he meant ?
Damn onions,
Next to my ps4.
If somebody goes all the way through the game, I wanted them to be rewarded."
Source: web.archive.org/web/20060629071507/www.wired.com/news/technology/0,70286-0.html
And if that's not enough "Yes, users have thought that Shadow of the Colossus is a prequel to ICO, and that’s my idea as well." - Fumito Ueda
Source: web.archive.org/web/20060903065641/www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200602/N06.0216.1853.30213.htm
Both games also use the exact same fictional language.
You truly have one of the biggest hearts Ele
I am sure "Shadow of the Colossus" will always be one of my all time favorite videos games besides the original Final Fantasy 7. True masterpieces indeed.
agro never had to say a word. hes the only friend in the game n that part hits everyone hard :(
Beautiful reaction to the finale.
Your reaction says a lot about you, you are a good person. Thanks for this video❤
I first played Shadow of the Colossus back in 2012, when I got to Agro's fall, I got so enraged by it that I ended up unleashing every ounce of fury I had on Malus. Lol. This is definitely my favorite game of all time.
I never played this game until the end. I am really shocked! The horse... the ending! Thanks for sharing!
I wish I could experience this game for the first time like you did, but I played it tons of times back on the PS2 and then the PS3, I am glad you appreciate its beauty.
finding out that agro is alive is one of the most amazing moments in gaming ever
Mad multiplayers games these days like COD, Apex Legends Etc Etc can't touch the depth of a single player story game
Ehh, never played Souls games?
@@Walamonga1313
Those are single player story games for the most part.
OMG your reaction broke my heart. Although is great that someone can connect with her emotions in such level while playing a videogame.
With this video, i just confirmed that you're one of my favorite gameplayers, i can't wait to see what's next :3
I played this game when it was originally released on PS2, it was a very emotional experience, definitely one of the best video games that i've ever played in my life.
I relived the moments after nearly more than 10 years watching your game play with your emotions and expressions 😍
Thank you very much for uploading the video.. 🤞
Thank you for loving Agro. We love her too.
The feels with agro is real for everyone that plays this game! I cried when I was a little kid and I still cry as a 27 year old man! That is a scene that is always hard for me to watch!
Oh, yes! I’ve been refreshing my subscription feed all day waiting for this. It’s gonna be a wild ride.
Cheers
Its the purest form of Love shown in this last episode and a nice overall game..Beautiful journey
An amazing game.
When I finally finished playing the original all those years ago it was very late at night.
And when that hawk flew up and away from the castle..................man....that was rough.
And seeing you cry had the same effect...............(Dont-ever-change.)
And we should all applaud Ko Otani for a brilliant soundtrack.
This is some of the greatest music I have ever heard.
I had this on release day on the PS2, even more impressive in those days.. These are the "games" that will stick with you forever
If you go back try to take notice when you kill a colossi a light shines down from the sky. When you are fighting Mallus the last one, he has actually watched you kill the others, and that is why unlike the ones before, he attacks you. This game has so many levels
the silence when Agro died and the way you kept running around aimlessly just hit me BADDDD!!
Hello, I Played "Shadow of the colossus" for the first time on PS 2, then PS 3, now on PS 4, unforgetable experience, Love the oportunity to see how other people enjoy it as much as I do, thanks. I recommend "Rime" another beautiful and emotional game. greetings!
Those were real emotions. Even though I played this game numerous times I still get the feels when Agro falls and when it reapears in the shrine.
