I was 11, sotc was difficult for me, it was one of the first games I played on ps2. I still remember the feeling I had when I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to climb the 2nd Colossus. When I got up, Revived Power started playing, it was without a doubt one of the most epic chills and feelings I felt with video games. I can't describe what I felt back then, but today, listening to this work of art, the mixture of Nostalgia and the epic feeling of the music brings tears to my eyes. Thank you SOTC and all its creators for bringing me moments that I will never forget. Hugs from Brazil.
I had a experience with this game too, when i was a child Sotc was one of my first games, at the time i couldn't play it properly, at first the feeling of being alone was scary. No long later my father had to sell our PS2, last year i could finally play it again on the PS3 and it was amazing, i've done everything in the game and it is my favorite game of all time! A lot of old people in the crowd enjoying music that was a part of my childhood, and its from a tv game. My parents never understood the obsession. Now i showed them this clip as an adult. They loved it and said that they have heard it somewhere but dont remember from where. When i told them that it was from that game i played on my playstation they didn't believe me. Feels a bit surreal to see so much middle aged and above in the crowd enjoying something that has been hidden from them and not to us, until now.
This was my experience at my first distant worlds concert too. I feel like there were a bunch old people there that were just curious, and seemed to really like it.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most important games to me. It is extremely close to my heart. It’s such a short game, yet it completely mystified me the first time I played it. Even almost two decades later and dozens of play throughs I still feel that spark that captured me back in 2007
Unlike most victory fanfares that are loud and meant to exude loud hyper celebration, I love how sotc went with a victory song that was more like an exhalation and a relief, followed by that tiny little feeling of foreboding that something isn't right here.
Id melt into a blubbering baby if i were ever to witness this masterpiece of a soundtrack being performed by these amazing people in person. This has been the most iconic and important game ive played and will always hold a special place in my heart. Even now, years later, the epic crescendos, the nostalgia, knowing how fast id be riding agro or how white knuckled id be climbing one of the colossus is so powerful 💕 i love this

Cuando agro se cae Por el barranco este es el triste y alegre porque al final agro sobrevivie a la caída. 2. La batalla contra malus porque me pareció en su momento cuando me enfrente contra el me tarde mucho tiempo en descifrar lo de los túneles y también me tarde mucho en averiguar que si le apuñalas la mano la deja quieta y así puedes disparar con el arco más fácil Y también es una obra de arte

Era um tempo tão bom que hoje em dia, muitos nem se quer imaginava que isso existia, uma união verdadeira, onde todos se voltavam a um simples jogo, mas que hoje em meio a essas músicas, lembram nostalgia tremenda, que as lágrimas de saudade daquele tempo e também junto delas, a alegria de ter se tornado um dos melhores momentos dos vídeo games. I was around 18 when this dropped and it blew my mind. I was fresh out of HS and the world was getting bigger and more expansive. This soundtrack took me places. I could listen to this and FFX ost all day.

Especially the transition from Violent Encounter to Revived Power. The latter being my absolute favorite song from the soundtrack. Rouses the heart strings every time. Great job covering such a powerful piece of music and showcasing what a musical genius Ko Otani truly is.

SOTC have a special place in my heart. When i was 14, i tried to play the game for the first time and i thought really booring because i could not understand what was the objetive. After some time, I remenber to see one of my friends fighting against a colossus and was in that moment that i decided to give another chance to the game, i run to google and print the map with the location of all the colossus and start to search where they were. After this, i play the game more them i can count, a real masterpiece.

The music and the scenery of the intro are both so beautiful I swear I can feel the tears well up, because they show the beauty and sadness of Wander's journey much like the original game did. Props to the orchestra for their splendid performance from start to end, going from the beauty and sadness of the intro to the invigorating feel of the second piece of music, making you feel like you will topple even the mightiest creatures, to the sad respite after you take it down, and from there it goes back and forth from a calm adventure feeling to feeling the threat of the large creature going after you, and back to the exhilarating feeling of being on top of the challenge ahead of you, ending at a relaxing piece set to have you back in awe at the beautiful lands you traversed through all of your journey, a beautiful expanse filled with nature and animals, brimming with peace, colorful beauty, and leaving a final impression that's so much more positive and happy than how your journey started.

You need to play it, trust me, this game is more than just a game. It's an experience. It was Remastered on PS4, so if you have one? Get it there. It's beautiful no matter what platform you play it on though.
If you have a computer like I do, I recently have downloaded a ps2 and ps4 emulator which I can download the game on using roms. It’s completely free and amazing… perfect game bud defo recommend you play it.
