Not gonna lie seeing the Zeniths' faces change from laughs to surprise then terror when their shields were broken and the machines started to kill them was really satisfying.

I am really glad Sylens turned out to be a good guy in this one. I totally expected him to be bad.
I never saw Sylens as a villain. He cares about the world and to some extent Aloy but his narcissistic and egotistical personality leads him to doing bad things in pursuit of knowledge

Am not sure how I feel about these meta humans tho that can fly & crap. Seems like a bit much to me. Could've done w a better plot device if ya ask me.

And I don’t mind the far zeniths. They were somewhat set up in the last game and their shields just look to be more advanced versions of the shield weaver armour’s tech in zero dawn
The flying is dumb though and it would’ve been better if they were descendants
@@louissykes2406 Yeah I mean I don't mind them either. I do remember the talk about the escape shuttle, so their existence & involvement in the plot is perfectly fine. It's how they were presented that was the problem. Their look is just awful. They should have at least been wearing some sort of high tech looking battle armor to make the shields make sense, something baddass looking like some sort of military combat armor. Not some wigged up nobleman outfit. It looked so damn wack.
& yea the flying was dumb, simply cus it just didn't make much sense based on their look. If anything they could have just made the suits have some sort of propulsion system. That would have been a FAR better choice & would have made the whole thing work perfectly fine. It really wouldn't have been that hard to pull off & would look far less dumb.
Its honestly the first bit in this series that I felt was really kinda wack & out of place. I truly don't get why they went in that direction with their look. It took a series that had been relatively serious thus far & made it look downright silly. Am sure they could have designed some truly sinister looking high tech armor for them instead & ppl would have loved it!
Would love to see some fan mods for the PC version where they fix this.

Zenith underestimated sylens. His potential is insane. If he was in the old ones world, he'd be more dangerous and intelligent than Ted faro in his pursuit of knowledge. Love how they made him even smarter in this game

I haven't really played the game just watched my cousin play it and even I was like" would aloy really let someone but there arm around her?"
She developed better than I thought in this game. She went from always doing things on her own, never wanting help, to accepting help and opening herself up to people. She learned to open herself up and that's character development at its finest.
@@crazybabuskaman3923 I agree. She didn’t exactly cozy up to people the first time she met them last game. She was still very green when it came to friendships and affection. Now that these people have fought for earth along side her and she’s lost some of them she’s learned to value them a lot more and appreciate them being by her side.

19:18 - I strongly suspect that Sylens had either a brother or a sister that he lost and he's getting hit right in the feels here, making him decide to stay.
That's a good thought. Hopefully he actually peels back the curtain a bit at some point here and lets us see a little more into his personal story.
Nah, I think he just realized life on his own would be boring, especially without Aloy to argue with. He can still run off on the Odyssey whenever he wants.
The pessimist in me thinks at that moment Sylens realized something yet unrevealed, and stayed merely for his own benefit. Sylens always has an angle, after all.
Sylens's blindspot is that he doesn't have true allies and friends. He's clearly lost patience trying to teach the "primitives" as he calls them, and instead just manipulates them to his own ends. And to be fair, it was also Aloy's blindspot for the first half in the game. A big part of the story is that she finally understands that her friends are not just well intentioned but largely useless liabilities, but essential to success if given a proper chance. And they don't just provide cold advancement to a goal, but maybe also the warmth and comfort of family that she never realized that she needed and never felt with the Nora.
For Sylens, there may have been a time where he loved and was loved. And at some point he stopped caring about that a long time ago, and probably found it easier to manipulate, trick, and ultimately discard people to do what he feels needs to be done instead of having to try to constantly babysit them and attempt to resolve their ignorance of the reality of their world. I like to think that by the end of the game, he begrudgingly comes to see that Aloy's way of building alliances and friendships to advance her agenda was perhaps a better way to go than his way of solitude. He admits as much, as far as his pride/ego will let him, when he tells Aloy that her plan gave the same end results as his plan. But that final bit where he sees the family that Aloy has chosen embrace her with their warmth, maybe her plan also created something more. Maybe something Sylens felt a very long time ago and has not felt since. Maybe there was something more to Aloy's way to accomplishing their mission, and maybe this planet full of primitives was nonetheless worth trying to save instead of abandon.
Anyways, that's my take on it. I don't think Sylens is evil. He's not to be trusted, he's not good, he's certainly not warm....but he's no Ted Faro.

I know i'm at least 4-5 years too early, but I can't wait for Chapter 3 to venture onto the Odissey and discover all the Zenith's secrets. This story took a sharp turn to Sci-Fi that I absolutely adore.

@@sergionavarro27 I believe Guerrilla always envisaged the Horizon story as a trilogy (besides which, Sony has been putting Aloy front and centre of their promo videos lately so they clearly know she’s worth big $$$).

@@kibblesnbits3174 I think the Earth’s lower level of technology might actually work in its favour - there are fewer manufacturing facilities for Nemesis to take over and use to its advantage.
I'm so glad to see that Sylens is still alive at the end of the story. He is my favorite character in Horizon.

yeha i love sylens too. evne though he is on the same side, his methods are always different. his relationship with Aloy is so fun to see. Even though i would have loved to see Sylens go on that shuttle, im glad he stayed. I hope he is in the next game more. Even though he was in this one so little, he has his own on going story and was even knew more than Aloy because he had Hades.
I think those gold plates are vulnerable. It's a shame the game didn't remind us of that fact every two seconds.
Gold is a soft metal. That why a gold sword would be useless in a fight (and super heavy).

Regardless, I’m pretty sure those “golden” plates aren’t made out of actual “gold” but a metal of similar color, Why would someone knowingly add metal plates to cover an outer layer of a highly advanced combat machine? to protect the sensitive parts of that machine no less.
One of the biggest things I hated about this game was the constant annoying messages. "Hit it with acid arrows". I rage quit at least once because I was tired of hearing that.

Alloy's growth is one of the best in gaming. She started as an outcast chasing after Elizabeth's dream, wanting to be like her, but became someone better. Someone who cares about life but also takes part of it. Being open to people unlike Elizabeth who always keep people at arms length.

Im kinda sad that Tilda forced Aloy to come with her. I really liked the character and was hoping she survives
I stopped liking her the moment she called Beta "an inferior copy." Right then, I realized (or at least formed an opinion) that Tilda wasn't connecting with Beta out of kindness, but rather to "raise" Beta into Tilda's own, personal Elisabet Sobek to replace the one she lost. Tilda went from forgery-detector to the ultimate forger.
She gave off a crazy stalker vib which I thought was pretty impressive considering the rest of the writing. She stalked Elisbet in the past and now wants her clones in the present.
I hated Tilda for what happened in the end but I still have a bit of hunch that she isnt finished / killed yet and may show up on next sequel. ... after final battle cutscene Aloy ddnt checked the pod where her remains was. Then, after getting into the base after finishing the story, I went back into the Zeniths base to check on Tilda’s pod but the game does not allow me to go back. Earlier the game when Tilda was introduced in the story by Beta, I also had this hunch that She - “Tilda” and Elisabeth may have had a history, and I was correct. Now I am hoping that my guts is also right this time.
She's sussy from the very beginning
Nah she had weird vibes from the beginning and then it's revealed that she's basically a groomer chasing after a millennia old romance. I liked her character too but she was as fucked up as anyone else aboard the Odyssey.
I loved this ending so much - Aloy and Beta both finally got the family they’d never had.
I know, right. This is the way to create a game franchise, with character stories that develop and give you reason to replay the whole thing from the first game.
@@milesdufine Indeed. I don’t think I’ve been actively moved by a game’s story like I was with this one - I mean Aloy’s story in Zero Dawn was emotional, but this was on another level. I genuinely shed a tear during Beta’s breakdown and her reconciliation with Aloy.

Just finished the story about 90 hours into the game. This sequel went far beyond my expectations with pretty much every aspect to the game. The map size was ridiculous, at least twice as large. One of the best things Guerrilla games added was swimming underwater. This just added a whole new layer to gameplay, quests and exploration. And of course, adding a flying mount was much needed.
Story wise, there were some really huge twists, ESPECIALLY with Ted Faro in San Francisco. With all that said, one thing that did not sit right with me was Tilda as a character. I feel like her death was extremely abrupt, considering how much the game was building her up to be an important character. I feel that she should have survived and I didn't necessarily like that she turned into the final boss at the end. I find that it was just lost potential. I was really hoping she was going to working alongside Aloy for future games
Tilda was very suspicious since the moment Aloy met her, i wasnt suprised at all. Zeniths became corrupted to the core becaus of living for an eternity

I feel like it would've been cooler if Aloy was able to call a Sunwing to her aid to get to the top, but would get shot down halfway by Erik, which would result in the boss fight

I tried to explore it too not knowing what it was. But I thought it would be cool if they started to shoot you if you lingered or something like that, or maybe just straight up kill you and the game would restart from save idk
@@erinocelotl3578 I kinda spoiled the ending a little bit for me when I went out exploring in the coast. I noticed the space ship. Honestly I was expecting Aloy and some of the crew to leave earth, atleast for a while. I’m glad they decided to stay. Although I’m fairly certain the next game will have missions in space.
@@angelgjr1999 It's not implausible some DLC could be on the Odyssey, but I can't imagine what you'd do there beyond fleshing out the lore. There's nothing there except maybe Specter drones. I'm reasonably confident the DLC will be called Burning Shores and take place south of the Hoover dam. Aside from that, I don't think it'll greatly involve HEPHAESTUS and will probably have nothing to do with NEMESIS. I think those will largely be set aside for the third game. Best guess is maybe we'll find Elysium and maybe some Old World Clawback-era tech as a stand-in while until they figure out a way to recontain HEPHAESTUS

Maybe in the third we might be able to see the Horus Titan class machines put into use?
I highly doubt it. The recapture of hephaestus will be reserved in the third game because; 1. We already had a DLC with that particular AI when we visited the Banuk in Frozen Wilds 2. There's a reason why they steered the plot to not include Hephaestus; so we have to fetch him in the next game, I'm willing to bet he's going to be holed up near the territory of The Quen, so we have another tribe with their ideologies and possible characters with god complexes (Ceo) to deal with.

I think the third game could be interesting, i personally think Vast Silver might have caused the glitch in the faro robots, Vast Silver was an Ai that was created in the 2040s when elisabet sobeck was still working for ted faro, in 2044 he went rogue and escaped but soon was captured, i think it was a lie because i found a datapoint that hints that he wasn't captured and still free somewhere in the world, i think Vast Silver caused the glitch because he was scared of humanity, and he might appear in the third game imagine Vast Silver vs Nemesis.

The Old Ones’ time was futuristic enough to achieve space travel in the form of the Odyssey. If it was truly Star Trek, we would’ve been able to go to the Sirius colony.
If you play the game this doesn’t appear out of nowhere. The futuristic guys come and you meet them you dont randomly face a futuristic creature for the first time

After almost 90 hours of playing the game, I finally beat the main story. I enjoyed every moment. All the roller coasters of emotions and such. I would love for Guerilla to announce future DLC content in the future. As low as the Quen Tribe is, I would like to see more of them. Maybe even have Quen armor sets and face paints. Maybe even the return of the Banuk. I loved that Tribe alot.
Now, a few of my theories for the next Horizon game. One is that, we are gonna have to recapture HEPHAESTUS in a brand new region. What will that region be? Who knows. Maybe up north? And it will more then likely to be even harder to capture, probably planning up multiple contingency plans to evade being absorbed by GAIA.
Second and final theory is that, we might have to have a brand new HADES subordinate to restore GAIA back up to 100% to help increase their chances of victory against Nemesis. Or make a brand new subordinate to replace HADES as a whole.
I can't wait to see what comes next.

Hadn't considered a new subfunction. Could work, give GAIA more heuristic density to absorb HEPHAESTUS. I don't think it'd be HADES. NEMESIS can target HADES with the signal, so restoring him as a subfunction is a bad idea until NEMESIS is killed. Next game probably will be north, unless they go east of the original game to Texas or something

@@MageOtter27 I did like half of them. Spent most of my time grind for Apex hearts to max out legendary gear. Though I find the weapons a little underwhelming compared to the last game. A lot of the endgame weapons have ammo types I'm less inclined toward, and I didn't quite figure out the spike thrower or shredder gauntlet

That's actually a good theory. There should still be a copy of hades somewhere in the proving lab.

From 16:08 all the way to 20:29 you can hear heavy breathing in the background if you listen closely at max volume, lol. Turning off the background music made this boss battle feel very empty, but I love the creature/futuristic designs in this sequel.

@@hadesfades It's just a bug. I've seen other playthroughs without it, so it's not going to be on anyone else's run of the game.
@@JoIjloL lol breathing is a bug? Why would a bug ever cause something like that? It was probably the players mic being on or something. Sounded like they were hyperventilating lol. I mean why was there no music in the 1st place? Is there not supposed to be music during the final battle & ending?
@@skins4thewin The game has minor bugs and still needs updates. I've seen videos where bosses freeze in position, making them easy to kill, lol. The player doesn't have his mic on, we would've heard him speak or breathe throughout the entire video not just the timecode I highlighted. Also, the breathing are in repeated loops and they come from Aloy's various soundbanks. I have Horizon Forbidden West and you can turn off the background music if you want to for the entire game, just like most games.
@@JoIjloL Ohh I see, I didn't know that about the breathing. Yeah that's a pretty odd bug. Am sure a lot of it will be fixed tho.
Also can't imagine why this person would want to turn the music off, but whatever floats the boat I guess.

I played Horizon and I remember almost never using fast travel.. Sometimes I'd ride for 1 hour just to get to where I wanted.. Such a beautiful game to spend time with!

Finally finished the story. And it was so good. Did all the side quests too cause it was so exciting to explore. Cant wait for the next game! Nemesis sounds like the god of destruction!
The side quest was addicting. But also served a purpose to help the character improve, which I liked because oftentimes they usually in games are a lot of work with little to no reward to them. Often I played the side missions here, mute while youtube subscriptions were playing in the background.
Fitting, since in mythology Nemesis was the Greek Goddess of Retribution.

Erend and Aloy's cuddle at the end is everything to me
So at the end, Gaia has been restored with only two missing subordinate functions. Hades is one obviously, since it was destroyed and no copies exist anywhere else. And the other is... Hephaestus? I guess he got away again once they used him to repel the Zenith's army. Makes sense I guess, otherwise there would be no rogue robots to fight in the next game. I wonder if they'll actually use Apollo to educate the population now, assuming the tribes even want the knowledge.
Nemesis can make machines too, they let hephasteus go to have machines to fight after the player finishes the main story
Gaia lost two sub functions but in their place, Aloy and Beta :)
There would also be no legit reason to fight them in the ‘post game’ either, good save on their part giving us the cool robot army against the zeniths while also giving a logical reason you can still fight then after the ending and in the next game
Well thay still can get Hephaestus back cause without it earth can't be fully restored
Chief Hekarro would. His whole reason with making peace with the Carja was for a chance to have his tribe learn the written word. It'd probably make it so much easier by avoiding the Carja hate still simmering in his tribe if they got it straight from Apollo. He's got an in on that with Kotallo.
I'm absolutely gutted. One of my favorite VAs ever, it was refreshing to hear someone other than Troy Baker in a lead role.
I smiled so much and squealed a little bit when Sylens stayed.

See, there is an issue with Sylens' plan for Aloy. without HADES, that's not viable. they'd only have one chance, and it took GAIA several attempts to get this one right
If they failed they could just take gaia and go to another planet to try again

Ted Faro: Richest man on earth. Chiefly responsible for creating an entirely unstoppable army of murder robots that ended all life on earth.
Far Zenith: A colony of the richest people on earth. Responsible for creating a seemingly unstoppable AI who destroyed their colony and aims to end all life on earth.
So, in the Horizon saga, it seems that if you're ultra rich, you're probably gonna create something capable of bringing about an extinction level apocalypse. Whoopsie!
I mean, think how how much it costs to make a nuclear bomb...
In real world too, If you are powerful, rich and have the technology by your side
The game is a middle finger to the rich elites.
A minor correction though, Nemesis didn't really care about Earth one way or another. Unleashing Hades was just its way to deny Zenith their prize.

I do wish the Zeniths were more fleshed out and I didn't like the whole immortal floating shield thing, I know they're advanced but it was a bit too much. Nemesis came out of nowhere but obviously they had to set up a villain for the next game. Hopefully there is DLC that explains Far Zenith more.
overall I really enjoyed the story and think it's a great game.
Well, you could get a similar shield in Zero Dawn, and they had a millennium to improve that technology

Some of Gaia's machines such as the Behemoth and the armadillo thing utilize gravity manipulation. And energy shielding already exists in the lore. A civilization with an additional thousand years of development could massively improve the technology. Hell in the real world, we've only had the internet for about thirty or forty years and it's come a long way in a very short time

I think we'll either go back to a location from the previous game, maybe to shut down old cauldrons spewing out new machines threatening the carja and nora... Which would make sense since HEPH is more advanced thanks to his time with the Zeniths

Maybe visit the Quen. Which would be nice but I can see them saving that for the sequel if not. Creating an entire clan, culture, land etc. is clearly a lot of effort... Especially when they could just bring back a section of the old map and update it.

@@AgentDigits Now that you mention it, it's definitely gonna be the Hoover dam. I thought it was odd for them to put it in when you can't do much in the area. And there's a note from that awkward Oseram guy from the Frozen Wilds dam north of there by the tunnel. He said he was heading south to the Burning Shore. I couldn't find him anywhere, and the dam was south of that location. Burning Shore could also make sense as a DLC as the first was Frozen Wilds

I love this game. Combat is awesome, diving, flying. It's great, But the ending could've been better. But it's funny that Tilda van der Meer is actually Dutch. Well makes sense when the game actually comes from the Netherlands. But the game still got some bugs. I fell trough the floor in the base today. But it's still a great game.

The most disappointing thing was that they were hypin up the zeniths so much but you only fought like one. Tilda like barely counts with that specter prime or whatever. I was hoping you’d be able to fight your way through more zeniths

Even then, Erik allowed his personal pride and ego to blind his (ostensibly non-existent) reasoning. He underestimated not only Aloy, but the GAIA-created Terrans as a whole. The zeniths were also, by and large, physiologically "soft" as a people due to their reliance on highly-developed technology; they weren't battle-hardened warrior zealots like the inhabitants of Earth.
This. They were a super-let down. 20 seconds and 90% of them are dead. Since they were leaving anyway, there was no real reason to fight them in the first place. The end destroyed the whole motivation for the rest of the game.

All this build-up only to be let down. The whole game is filled with let-downs like this. I was looking forward to "Thebes" for example expecting to see an amazing billionaire retreat and what we got was another boring area.

@@monsimix6839 I'd say it more familiar than it is grounded. It's very similar to The Matrix, but rather than humanity losing and hiding underground, they lose and get sent back to the stone age. But the "AI Hivemind" fufills almost exactly the same role: a man-made threat that sees humans as biofuel. And I think because of it being so similar to The Matrix, people ended up being more forgiving.

To be fair, one huuge advantage the AI on Sirius had was access to ALL systems. You might argue that high-tech environments make it easier for Nemesis to erradicate an entire civilization.
Definitely going to be interesting to see though how/if they pull it off. Expectations on this are probably like expectations on the lore of the first one (robot dinos in a tribal world): Its either genius or the exact opposite.

The only thing I see working is if another AI with a ton of computer power and SENTIENT is there to provide the challenge. Like fight over machines and the fight to be between the 2.

That said the robots are not really made for killing, like war. They are made to act like animals. Remember at the end of the first game when you fight that big robot (forgot the name) that was one of the robots to wipe humanity? I don't think she can take an army of those (an that robot was damaged). Then add shields like the humans had in the last game, and its GG.
@@xxan84 That other AI probably being GAIA which is in full control of Minerva and thus hopefully in control of the Faro-swarm? We also don't know on what basis they change their shutdown codes. Minerva took approximately 50years the first time to crack them. In the battle of meridian they were activated and soon later deactivated again, so the codes couldn't have changed. Perhaps Gaia can change the codes so that even another Super AI like Nemesis can't crack them fast enough?) About the nuke from orbit, yeah I see that point, we'll have to see.

Well this seems lowkey disappointing; expecting we'd finally get to face off against that fricking titanic doomsday metal fortress, that was actively teased at the end of the first game, I can't help but find this over-sized action-figure looking mofo to be a tad underwhelming.
Oh well, atleast it's something of an unique encounter and not just a buffed up version of a mech you'd fought multiple times throughout the campaign already, like in the last game.

Also not a fan of sequel bait cliffhanger endings like this, the first game had a better ending even if it was also setting up the next game.

Guerrilla have said they've planned for this series to be a trilogy (although whether that was always the plan or just one they developed after Zero Dawn's success, I don't know).
Perhaps I am wrong but I have the feeling that Nemesis should had been kind of Faro's machines instead of this new threat, coming from nowhere. Aloy should have defeated the plague that has already destroyed mankind once and that even Elisabeth couldn't do anything to stop it. I don't know, it would have made more sense to me.
Also, Tilda was an interesting character but her death is just laughable. What a waste.
ikr I too felt that the zenith plot was a bit too much... If this was indeed the direction that they intended for the franchise, then it could have been done better (I thought the zeniths were a bit bland and the 3rd arc had too fast of a pace). Overall I really like the game though, that's my only gripe.
@@marketeagle4508 I already theorized after the first game that Zenith survived and was responsible for the signal. There's a very short list of who could send such a signal. Nemesis isn't too much of a stretch either and I think that we'll find out in the next game that Nemesis was created using programming from other lore AI's such as VAST SILVER.
@@johnozzmond9728 Now that I've digested it a bit further, I think the Zeniths came off to me as a trivial villain figure because of how it was executed... I just felt that they were a bit bland so far in this game... It might have been my fault for not getting all the datapoints but I got most of it and still they felt like a mystery to me. To be honest, I would have preferred if we had the Nemesis as the villain for this game, which meant that we teamed up with the Zeniths (also so we gradually get to know them further). Only for them to realize that they wanted to make the world anew and become the antagonists of the 3rd game. Just top of my head though, as I'm still trying to make sense of it and it might have its fair share of plotholes.
Anyway, I might be getting too far ahead of myself there. Understanding the Zeniths and perhaps VS might be a big point in the 3rd installment, however I personally think that the story of HFW suffered because of that.

Zeniths are just a bunch of rich assholes with futuristic tech. Nemesis is more of an unknown threat, and that uncertainty makes them seem more dangerous, especially given that whatever it is moving through space appears to be a giant ball of solar flares with robots hidden within
I've been hearing a lot of people think the DLC is gonna be about capturing HEPHAESTUS. I think it's actually gonna be something unrelated, like maybe Elysium unless they're withholding that for a fourth game. I think the third game is gonna be a extended chase to shut down the Cauldron network to try and corral HEPHAESTUS so it can be captured. But it also appears that HEPHAESTUS is grower larger, possibly with the intent of become too big for GAIA to absorb. So it might result in the two having to come to some sort of alliance. And at some point Nemesis is going to show up. I think it'll probably send in some scouts ahead of whatever main mass or swarm it has. And we might get some kind of clue about Nemesis via ruins, the Odyssey, or maybe something HEPHAESTUS heard from HADES. And if there is some sort of vulnerability, there'll be some kind of effort to exploit that. Otherwise, it'd probably be a process of restoring the Cauldron network and mass producing machines for a giant fight

I'm pretty disappoint, the first game had a such emotional ending: at the end of the adventure aloy found her mother, was like a ending of a part aloy's life; the time she was try to found who really is it's over, it's like a closure, the ending of forbidden west is just soulles , it's much more a x-men movie mixed with star treek .
Horizon Zero Dawn's ending is symbolic. They didn't need to make a second game from it. This game imo. It's ending isn't as drastic because I think it's meant to show that Aloys journey, her war hasn't ended. There's more to do. We get just as much closure on this as she does and still can do nothing besides prepare for the next threat while feeling empty.
To me it would’ve been better if they actually were shown recovering Apollo

if you mean Tilda, then it would be because she intended to abandon everyone and capture aloy because she was reminded of Elisabeth in order to flee from earth because of an impending doom . Obvs Aloy declined and so Tilda had intended to force capture Aloy in which resulted in the last boss fight

I have a theory about the next game, Sylens is only sticking around so he can potentially either control nemesis or merge with it for its vast knowledge and power. I don't trust that Aloy got through to him, there's just something about the way he looks at the hologram of nemesis' projection et the end there.
No one got through to him. He's still Sylens; I think he just realized it'd be boring alone on that ship (which he can still steal whenever he wants anyway). You may be right about Nemesis, too, but after so easily defeating the Zeniths, I doubt he cares to meet them again in Nemesis. Apollo's got more than enough to occupy him for life (and he's got copies on earth and on the Odyssey).
I was a bit overlevelled for this fight because I did a lot of side quests. I was level 45. Braced Shot with a maxed Glowblast Sharpshot Bow made all of the fights too easy, including this one. I played on Normal.
Yeah they should've added a level scale in this game to make all the machines scale to you, made the game easy on Hard mode for me, I did a decent amount of side quests but not a lot

The characters are so good, so photorealistic and their animation so lifelike that it seems like the game has some fmv cutscenes from the 90ies. So real that it seems like real but cheap live action with real but mediocre lighting. They hit some uncanny valley here. Nevertheless crazy and spectacular technogy!

Remember, it's a combination of all the worse aspects of Far Zenith. It might be coming planet-side just to rub the destruction of earth in their faces.

How so? All her friends are still there, even Sylens, surprisingly so. Like he had a real change of heart and attachment to Aloy and her friends after all that they went through. The only one who really betrayed her was Tilda, who lied to her about why the zeniths were leaving their planet and proceeded to try to forcefully take her on the ship and start a new world.
The only person who betrayed you in the ending was Tilda who has been stated to be suspicious from her first appearance.
Loved this game. Wasn't sure how they were gonna pull it off, because the first one blew me away so much. But damn, they improved on every aspect of the original. Not very often that I can say that about a franchise. Definitely need to see at least one more installment of Aloy's story.
I especially appreciate all the foreshadowing in Horizon 1. A lot of things that played a role in the story of Horizon 2 were already present in the 1st game - Tenakth & Utaru NPCs in side quests and mentions of the Forbidden West, the subordinate functions, the Thebes bunker, Ted's Omega Clearance, the Far Zenith, FZ's cloning technology, the Odyssey, Hades' Masters, the extinction signal, etc.
