Maxitune 3's outrun mode kinda allude to it too (yasu's quote after being outrun is something along the line of 'do you know when a tuner life's end? Its when they killed themself')
hes actually wrong on carburetors. carbs provide extrememly low iat temps. i prefer draw through turbo with a carb. carbs work so well at atomizing, that old engines had to run coolant or hot exhaust under the intake manifold to keep it from freezing. my v8 carbed engine's intake is ice cold while running, because it has no coolant flow through it.
If you’re paying attention, most of the cars that are modified in Wangan Midnight are non cross flow straight 6’s. Your v8 is crossflow which means that the intake is right on top of the engine meaning less heat from the turbos to your intake. If you heat wrap em right then you shouldn’t have too hot of an engine bay. Perfect for a carb due to the fuel atomization being better as it’s right on top and not flowing on the side. Draw through turbos do work good but on your V8 I would go blow through mainly because of what I just explained. And the devil z looks to be a non crossflow head as well
Sadly, is extremely rare to find Wangan Midnight chapters with a good quality. (And, if you speak spanish, is even worse, since that language subs are on 240p...)
