There's an obscure one that I want at least in a collection from Konami, and it is Violent Storm an amazing arcade Beat Em Up, that never got a home port(as far as I know).

@@GreenTygur that's why I want it done right this time. The TMNT 1987 inspired art style, the fast paced & challenging gameplay, more beat-em up levels, all the original bosses, enemies, & side characters, and more importantly the OG sexy Dark Queen instead of the lame Woke Queen.
A Final Fight 4/Sequel would be so cheap to make and would sell super well, it’s a no brainer for capcom I feel, not sure why they refuse to continue the series (Street Fighter 6 Takes Place in Metro City, like the stars are aligning here, It would be a shame if they didn’t take advantage)
I feel like Capcom is too used to that Monster Hunter money to go back to smaller projects like a beat em up even though yes back in the day that was their bread and butter.
IMO a sequel to The Punisher would be great. Call it Daredevil, base it off the Netflix series and have both Punisher and Elecktra playable along with Daredevil himself.
Volition recently was able to find some alpha footage of the sequel they wor working on. It would have been open NYC Punisher. Unfortunately that didn't pan out, but the engine went on to become Saint's Row
While I agree with the list, I would also like to see a new Dungeons & Dragons beat em up game. The Chronicles of Mystara were great. I wish they would revisit that.
My top pick for a beat em up revive is Golden 🪓 Axe. I can see them making it a very dark and gritty reeboot or sequel. It would also be the most refreshing series to come back as opposed to another gritty Urban beat em up, which don't get me wrong, i still love.
Modern dnd license with iconic spells and intuitive gameplay? I would hop on that any day. Make the menu system easier to flip through, give each class 2 paths, and maybe theme it to the critical roll license and you have the financing and IP to bring the game to a broader audience and make it casual but rewarding.
All you've left unturned are cult hits like Ninja Baseball Batman (A great sense of humor and every stage is a different US state) and Night Slashers (It's horror theme would make it stand out). Comix Zone would be great with the popularity of comic book culture and pandering to difficulty whores like me. If they want to REALLY be like the 90s, they should make beat 'em ups out of franchises that haven't been one yet. Also, turn new action movies into beat 'em ups. Imagine an Avatar: The Last Airbender beat 'em up. Imagine if when that Bob Odenkirk Nobody movie came out, they turned it into a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up. I'd rather have a Rick & Morty Beat 'em Up than a Simpsons one.
Golden Axe for me all the way. Patrician taste for Double Dragon Neon. Double Dragon 4 turned me off the series for a bit. Many of the other titles have IP issues, will the owners of those franchises completely muck it up? Also, I share your trepidation about Capcom current practices.
Yeah Double Dragon 🐉 needs more time and distance before going up to the plate again. Hopefully Ark System Works is taking notice about how a real beat em up revival is done.
You guys need to quit giving them flack for DD4, forget that game. Arc Systems is going to release a new Kunio game for the Switch and it'll be a big step up from the River City remake they made for the 3ds.
I'm pulling so hard for Golden Axe on this one! I feel as if a solid hack-and-slash brawler is needed with this current resurgence (Though I've yet to try out Wolverblade, so if anyone sticks up for that... I'll see about picking that one up sometime!), and we can't just let GA fade out of existence with... ugh... "Beast Rider". (But a second place would be The Simpsons! My one gripe about that arcade game is it came out with just about 1.5-2 seasons behind the show. So little of what we know of the Simpsons was developed yet!)
My top 5 dream remakes would be: 1. Alien vs Predator, with the new Prometheus engineers in it 2. X - Men (8 player I hope 🤞 !) 3.The Punisher, a remaster of this would be epic 4. Caddillacs & Dinosaurs, nobody remembers the TV show but the arcade game was amazing! 5. Golden Axe, a remake of this is long overdue...
Golden Axe deserves a Streets of Rage 4 rework. The artist for that game even did art for it on his blog. Plus, high adventure with Swords and Sandals need to come back!
super double dragon needs a remaster. its counter/block system was unique and tactical, individualization of punches and kicks, the soundtrack was great and enemy variety was also top tier. the fighting was just so much more fun than the 4 button press combo of most beatemups of the era
i disagree. the japanese version is a lot easier so it makes the fighting less fun. idk i prefer the NA release. so many fond memories and what i consider it the best DD game
Return of the Double Dragon is my favorite beat em up. It does not get enough credit for what it has done. Unfortunatly it was rushed and lacked some content/story
I would not mind if any of these beat 'em ups came back with new installments that were of the same quality as SOR4 or Shredder's Revenge. The more beat 'em ups, the better!
How about Green Beret (a.k.a. Rush'N Attack)? Apparently it is considered "run and gun" but you dispatch the overwhelming majority of enemies with a knife with gameplay quintessentially similar to Kung Fu Master. I feel like Green Beret could be fun as multi-player co-op instead of only a single player experience.
I love Beat ‘Em Ups, everything from Turtles in Time to Double Dragon Neon makes me go wild when I get to play them. Personally I’ve been hankering for a Resident Evil themed beat ‘em up, if anything Capcom could reskin a Final Fight for this! Great choice on the music btw, I loved track on Neon. I really wish I could find it on iTunes!
You should check out Zombie Revenge on Arcade or Sega Dreamcast, it's basically Sega's Resident Evil themed beat-em-up since it's based on The House Of The Dead, ignore the reviews about the game, it's great fun. Juggling a zombie torso for high combos or performing a figure four leg lock on a zombie, never gets old. It also has even "better" voice acting than both Resident Evil 1 and House Of The Dead 2 lol
Final Fight is way overdue for a part 4. Streets of Rage and Double Dragon had their part 4 now it's time for Capcom to give Final Fight the same treatment.
Battletoads & Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team Jaws dropping, eyes popping, alien beating, b^^ch slapping, robot shattering... all accompanied by a kickass soundtrack. My most beloved NES game deserves a remake.
Heyyyyyy.... Final Fight 2 was great and Final Fight 3 is actually one of my favorite beat em ups of all time, I love how they added special moves and a super meter.
I agree on all 5....in Final Fight's case, I'd love both a new game and ports of 2 & 3 ( seriously, why has neither game ever been ported? ). And I'd love to see a new Final Fight go for 4-6 player co-op, with all 3 original heroes plus Maki, Poison and Hugo as playable characters
I would love for Golden Axe to finally make a true return to glory along side Altered Beast. Of course would lose all my everything if X-Men got a faithful beat'em up ditto for Final Fight but Marvel and Disney are inconsistent with what and how they decide to make into a game and Capcom is a strong maybe for doing something with it after looking at SF6.
I've been crying for a new Final Fight for years now, Capcom pls. While Final Vendetta is a nice alternative which recently came out, I still want the real deal. Also a new Ninja Warriors game would be great.
An X-Men game that is 6-player co-op BUT has many more characters to choose from than just 6 would be cool. Have all the main characters from the ‘92 show plus some of the characters who only appeared in a handful of episodes, like Colosus, Night Crawler, Cable, Arch Angel, Ice Man, etc. And a Final Fight that is 4-6 player co-op with all the previous entries’ characters would be great too; Haggar, Cody, Guy, Dean, Carlos, Maki, Lucia. The other IPs mentioned during this video don’t interest me.
Follow me, follow me Your love is calling me, calling me Take over me, like a sorcerer controlling me Couldn’t be any clearer, upon my magic mirror I can see Your true nature calling me. 🎶
Knowking Capcom, they would likely revive the Final Fight Franchise with a presentation upgrade (keep the 2d gameplay, but with 3d graphics). I would not be surprised if that game ties in with the timeline of Street Fighter 6.
All of those are great and all, but what I want to see is a Top-Hat Gaming beat 'em up Wrestler game. C'mon Tops give the people what they want. Crowd fund it, if you have too.
I do hope your idea for a new Double Dragon gains some traction. The series was always one of my favorites of the genre, and it would be nice to see it brought back properly.
I think at this point it would just make sense for Wayforward to make a Double Dragon game. I mean, they've already throw in so many references and characters from the franchise into River City Girls that I wouldn't be surprised if they already had something in the works.
I agree with every pick here except Golden Axe, replace that with a new AVP beat em up since capcom apparently will never give us the original back again.
Would be nice but not gonna happen. These beatem up games are being produced by small independent operations. Avp belongs to a big budget movie franchise and the rights to the franchise will cost a fortune. Only a triple a studio and it's resources could afford to make an avp beatem up.
Yeah but it's not impossible, Capcom most likely doesn't care, plus a few years back they put out that capcom arcade cab a mini thing which kind of sucked but AVP was one of the games on it...so I believe they could if they really wanted to they just don't care to, NRS got the rights for Predator in MK X, I think Capcom could get it maybe not easily but all they need is the Ok, it would be easy money for both Capcom and Disney who sadly now owns Predator license...
While not strictly an arcade beat'em & more like inspired by such, I for one have been DYING for a Marvel Ultimate Alliance-style, multiplayer action-RPG starring CAPCOM characters, crossing over from their most popular (& even some obscure) action games from their rich & extensive, arcade & console games. CAPCOM has an amazingly-popular roster of characters, from Street Fighter, DarkStalkers, Captain Commando, Viewtiful Joe, Onimusha, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, God Hand, Dead Rising, Dino Crisis, MEGA Man, Lost Planet & many, many, many more. Just imagine an Ultimate Alliance style of game where you could play as, meet, level up & fight against all of their iconic characters thru coop.
A new Golden Axe game would pretty great. For Capcom's side, I'd like to see a new Battle Circuit. I know most people would like to see a new Final Fight, but could they really bring the same level of incorporeal street/grunge/grimy-ness that made the first one so great and iconic? At least with Battle Circuit's art direction, over-the-top retro-futuristic superhero aesthetics always at least kinda stand out.
I'hope one possible secuel of Aliens versus predator or Cadillacs AND dinosaurs But in the PS4, PS5 or one, series X these titles it's ones instant clasicc of cult, greetings from mexico 😃✌️🇲🇽
I wanna see the revivals of: Captain Commando, Knights of the Round, Final Fight, Burning Fight.. Namco should get a samurai 2.5D beat 'em up to respond to SNK's Sengoku. And Sengoku should have been Namco! What if Sengoku gets revived but by Namco? A new Blade Master game in the artworks of SOR4. Maybe a new Undercover Cops story.

There's Night Slashers, which is a horror beat 'em up that I'd love to see a remake or sequel to.
Final Fight is way overdue for a part 4. Streets of Rage and Double Dragon had their part 4 now it's time for Capcom to give Final Fight the same treatment.
DD4 doesn't count to me. The real DD4 was Neon
@@strtfghtr88 What about Return of Double Dragon(Super Double Dragon in the US)?
@@sprnightfire Touché. Forgot all about that one cause I've never played it
@@strtfghtr88 do it! Its the best DD game. Play the japanese version: Return of The Double Dragon. Its problably my favorite beat em up of all time.
@@binho2224 will do!
I'd like to see some obscure beat em up titles like Sengoku, Rival Turf aka Rushing Beat Ashura or Denjin Makai .
Battletoads & Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team
Jaws dropping, eyes popping, alien beating, b^^ch slapping, robot shattering... all accompanied by a kickass soundtrack. My most beloved NES game deserves a remake.
I want to see that unreleased Golden Axe game completed it looked brilliant
Heyyyyyy....
Final Fight 2 was great and Final Fight 3 is actually one of my favorite beat em ups of all time, I love how they added special moves and a super meter.
I agree with this list. Double Dragon Neon was and still is a lot of fun.
I used to play The Punisher in the arcades back in the day. A new game would be great
I agree with all of these but I would also love to see a modern re-imagining of Battletoads.
Knights of the Round or Dungeons and Dragons. There was another high fantasy style beat em up I can think of, King of Dragons maybe?
Golden Axe cross over with Dungeons and Dragons 90s Arcade style beat em up for me.
Would love to have seen a Golden Age-style beat 'em up using the anime _Berserk!_
I'd love a new golden axe game that's hand drawn like turtles, I did like the golden axe gun game though!
A Dynamite Deka/Cop collection with the two games and the arcade exclusive Asian Dynamite would be cool.
Id really like a Mashup of golden ax and streets of rage. With time traveling
As crazy as that sounds that would actually be amazing.
I want either a Simpson Sequel or X-men being that the show is coming back
I totally need a Golden Axe reboot!
Great list! Slaughterhouse could use a reboot as well.
You mean Splatterhouse?
1)Alien vs. Predator
2)Captain Commando
3) Battle Toads
4)Captain America & The Avengers
5)Fight N’ Rage
Follow me, follow me
Your love is calling me, calling me
Take over me, like a sorcerer controlling me
Couldn’t be any clearer, upon my magic mirror I can see
Your true nature calling me. 🎶
Knowking Capcom, they would likely revive the Final Fight Franchise with a presentation upgrade (keep the 2d gameplay, but with 3d graphics). I would not be surprised if that game ties in with the timeline of Street Fighter 6.
When i saw the last Street Fighter VI trailer with a "open world" Metro City I thought it was a new Final Fight.
All of those are great and all, but what I want to see is a Top-Hat Gaming beat 'em up Wrestler game.
C'mon Tops give the people what they want. Crowd fund it, if you have too.
I have a Golden Axe clone on the back burner. Working on one game at the moment, but have plans for all kinds of classic games later on.
Great picks and a great video as always! I would add to the list Metamorphic Force, it would be great to see it in the SOR 4 treatment.
I do hope your idea for a new Double Dragon gains some traction. The series was always one of my favorites of the genre, and it would be nice to see it brought back properly.
I want Dynamite Cop/Die Hard Arcade Remake and make the main character over the top President like Metal Wolf Chaos. 🤣🤟
Bad Dudes, Golden Axe, Toxic Crusaders, Captain Commando and Night Slashers
Basically my entire childhood is on this list and i also want back on the same level of quality as SoR4 and TMNT:SR.
I would love new golden axe and Final fight. What would be really awesome is someone coming up with a new franchise
check out Maximus 2 arriving on switch in couple months
Can we PLEASE just get Double Dragon Neon on PS4/PS5?..That's all I REALLY WANT!..I didn't even KNOW this game existed until last year!
I think at this point it would just make sense for Wayforward to make a Double Dragon game. I mean, they've already throw in so many references and characters from the franchise into River City Girls that I wouldn't be surprised if they already had something in the works.
I really want a new Captain Commando!
I agree with every pick here except Golden Axe, replace that with a new AVP beat em up since capcom apparently will never give us the original back again.
Took the typing off my fingers!
@@jerrylorenzo3993 Haha 😄 right on!👍
Would be nice but not gonna happen.
Logical choices are Double Dragon and Golden Axe. Less obvious but makes alot of sense is Alien Storm.
Just thought of another one. A remake of Die Hard Arcade would be amazing, considering now they could get it to be set across all the Die Hard movies!
I want another Battletoads, but completely unlike that abomination Microsoft released.
Bring all of them back...and thanks for playing my favorite double dragon song in the background i play that stage till this day just to hear the song
I vote for the crossover in your thumbnail.
My types: Viloent Storm, Cadillac & Dinosaurs, Knights of the Round, Punisher and Alien vs Predator
X-Men Arcade
The Simpsons
Cadillacs & Dinosaurs
Golden Axe
Ghosts & Goblins
Final Fight 3 was solid too though
It would be cool to see a Crime Fighters/Vendetta revival.
Double Dragon Metal Grunge.
Going with Metal vs Grunge music crossover aesthetic with ARC Systems Guilty Gear art style.
Anyone one here shouting for The Combatribes!?!
My list would partly be the same:
5. Golden Axe or Golden Axe 2
4. Final Fight
3. X-men
2. Vendetta (or Crime Fighters 2)
1. Aliens vs. Predator
I'hope one possible secuel of Aliens versus predator or Cadillacs AND dinosaurs But in the PS4, PS5 or one, series X these titles it's ones instant clasicc of cult, greetings from mexico 😃✌️🇲🇽
I would like to see these titles make a return 1. Night Slashers 2. The Simpsons 3. X-men 4. Captain Commando 5. Zero Team( adventures of miss Spin).
I wanna see the revivals of:
Captain Commando, Knights of the Round, Final Fight, Burning Fight..
Namco should get a samurai 2.5D beat 'em up to respond to SNK's Sengoku. And Sengoku should have been Namco! What if Sengoku gets revived but by Namco?
A new Blade Master game in the artworks of SOR4. Maybe a new Undercover Cops story.
Top Hat Fighting Man, home of the beat em ups and fighting games' history with the Top Hat himself.
Final Fight is the beat em up franchise deserve to be returned since SF6 slaughtered their Metro City story s**t.
While not a franchise, I'd love a 'urban reign 2' haha
