This is still looking better than mine from an 82 gs850. Most of my floats were working right after the sonic cleaner, but 3 of the 4 main jets broke off in the emulsion tubes. I saved all but one which cracked and still didn't give up the brass. I'm proud of myself for being able to salvage 2 of the 3, but now I have to track down another emulsion tube
Damn! Sounds like you had your work cut out for you there! I feel ya though, awhile back I bought a parts bike just to get the carburetors, when I took the bowls off, the carb body was just rotted away inside and the jets were laying in the bowls, they were a total loss...1st time I ever saw carbs that bad.
@@thedragon2299 yup that's almost where mine were. I didn't even put any pressure and they basically fell off. With as little as I've been finding I think I'll have to get a spare carb just for the emulsion tube luckily I've been seeing some on ebay
