    I’m thinking this could also be used like a side of “meat” with a mushroom gravy on top. Add some mashed potatoes and green beans to your plate and bam... comfort food!

    Thanks for doing these, great inspiration. I have not come across it yet, sorry if you have already done one, but I am just getting started, Do you have a video or place where you discuss the basics of things, i.e. the almond butter mixing, the date syrup? what brands and where to purchase them. I am searching Thrive, Amazon, and my local store, but so many different options and I am not sure where I should start. My cookbook is due to arrive today, maybe some of these answers will be in there. Thanks again. It is refreshing to not feel like it is all a marketing ploy.

    I also would like to know if these freeze well. As I cook for one, I need recipes that can be used up in a week or can be portioned out and frozen. Thanks for great ideas.

    That sounds amazing and so simple! I love that you're using miso in place of soy sauce. I would probably add more salt haha since I am seriously a salt addict! It's my only downfall, so it's ok right??? Super smart to freeze some patties!

    What do you think about adding some puréed beans in lieu of the onion? Do you think it would be too wet or texturally weird?

    Quick question....I'm about the make this recipe, but in the video, you said and used 1/2 cashews but the recipe says 1 cup of cashews. Did you update to improve it or is that just a type-o?

    Your written recipe says 1 cup of cashews. But in the video you say 1/2 cup. Which is it? Thanks for sharing such a yummy looking recipe. I can't wait to try it

      The original recipe I would make uses 1 cup, however I was trying to cut down on the amount of fat due to wanting weight loss. I couldn't tell much of a difference between 1 cup and a 1/2.

    These taste delicious but completely fell apart, even after extended baking time. Any suggestions to help them hold together better?

    • @TheJaroudiFamily
      @TheJaroudiFamily  7 місяців тому +1

      Ours never fall apart, I would try to make them a bit smaller if that’s the issue.

      Thanks! I will try that. I think I must have missed a step somewhere or done something wrong. Was I supposed to smash the lentils? Regardless, the resulting product had a great crunch and tasted delicious. My husband just made them into wraps instead of burgers. Problem solved. Lol
