I'm trying to understand something here...
Why do a comparison between a ~30 year old Digital PCM based synth (03R/W), and recent Analog synths?
This is much like comparing a car to a boat - two totally different modes of transportation...
This is a valid question. In 30 years from now, we will probably not need cars or boats for transportation - we will simply think about our desired destination and a combination of PCM and PWM will handle the rest.
As an answer to your question, in 30 years, maybe the answer will just appear by thinking about it.
Is the side by side comparison merely visual, hard to tell. The Korg O3R/W is 100% digital while the Behringer and MiniMoog are a large part analogue. I actually have the Korg and Behringer and they are not even close in sound. The Korg X3 is a huge improvement in sound and programability.
My previous statement was not rude. The way you look at the World is rude and the way you judge participants comments is rude. Obviously there is some reason you have such a greater percentage of thumbs down than almost all other videos on UA-cam.
Well, that's like, your opinion, man. Life ain't always analogue or digital. Sometimes you have to see past the thumbs. I can find you a video with a worse thumbs ratio, but I'd rather have 13 thumbs down and a middle finger stuck, than no reaction at all. Namaste.
@@banzai3030 Of course it is not what life is all about, it merely is the reason they are not comparable in sound. I also stated "than ALMOST all other videos." Assuming your use of the respectful Hindu parting salutation "namaste" means you are finished with me then I can wish you the best in your endeavors using English.
