- Volunteered to contribute a friend's upcoming project ( @swampland_knife_co ) and decided to offer up a neat bottle opener with a dragon scale twist. It was great to get back in the workshop and I am really pleased with how this one turned out! (I apologize for the level of noise from my forge- I need to get some better recording hardware.)

Just a note, it looked way darker in person, hence why I was calling the color black. If you want an even deeper black on your pieces, get them to a low heat and wipe them down with an oil soaked rag. When you hit the right temp range it will turn very, very dark.
Yes that'll richen the color
Bottle opener look cool. Nice dragon twist👍👍👍
Thank you!
Productive things to do between heats...
1. Clean and organize the dust covered tinderbox that is your shop
2. Hop up and down on a wheeled board like a geriatric dressed in the best 1930's garb one could find.
Which will he choose?
The twist looks cool though haha
I mean.... You're not lying 🤣🤣🤣
Should of showed it working
Cool! Gonna try this...I've got some rebar I'm wondering if I can make that work...
You can absolutely do this with rebar.. just square it first.. it's actually a pretty nice size to work into a good square bar... just square out more than you need for the twist so you don't have to go back and try to make it longer..
It's twisted and crooked!
Well great, now I have to untwist it! lol
@@FatherForge lmbo, it might like that!
