@@ProjectDanH yeah I was sad to hear about the green hornet, I’ve got a spare 4.7 that I had just had installed in the old one that only has about 11,000 miles on it. Jeep my life lol. Thanks for your great content!
Another great video from a man who loves the WJ. I've seen other decent instructions on regulator replacement. This one just makes sense and easy to follow. Thanks
Thank you! Wasted my time on another guy carefully showing most of the removal then fast forwarding thru installation at an angle you couldnt see what he was doing. You’ll get my subscription
Followed your video step-by-step as I replaced my rear passenger side regulator. Start to finish in 1 hour! Thanks for the great tutorial! Cheers, Salud, Skål & Prrrrrrost!! 💪👍🍻
Thanks for all the Jeep videos I have a 96 4.0 Cherokee Laredo I really wish you could come over there to Oregon and help me do the lift and front wheel bearings, Thanks Dan it would be a real cool road trip video. Just think about it.
@ProjectDanH I had the 4.7 in my last one and it was awesome 😆 204k no engine issues at all. It ran as good as my WK Hemi . I like the 4.0 in the ZJ though it was better on gas .
I need to figure out why on my 98 ZJ front passenger door the outside door handle when you push the button in it doesn't engage properly to be able to open the door. When you stick the key in the door and turn it works though.....
Really cool, but it looks like you clipped the rear stud thingy outside the white plastic instead of like the front one or the example. Outside that awesome job, helping the community by DanH, Oh Jeep my life. Oh yeah, I just used 4mil plastic sheeting to replace vapor barriers, you can put a whole roll of duct tape on it and your floorboards will still be wet when it rains, don't ask how I know...
This guy is a glutton for punishment! I bought a grand Cherokee because I thought it would be a good sacrificial winter vehicle. Damn thing is taking all of my money but I’m not smart enough to quit on it. I’ve learned a lot from Dan! I hope I’ll never be as knowledgeable as you though!
If you can hear the motor with no funny noises like lacking or stuck most likely the plastics cable springs are broken or wore out ,, buying a cable kit if available will be the answer ,or buying the parts separate , junk yard or buying the whole kit new , keeping n fixing the spare or sale it,,
this man has singlehandedly taught me how to fix every thing wrong with my wj
And if you’re like me, you get one thing fixed and something else breaks.
Lol. Thanks brother!
@@ekimp252every Jeep re-brakes! Haha
@@ProjectDanH Just don't say lemon aid, Ha Ha.
Glad to see wj projects again. My son totaled mine so I’m parting it out to build another one I bought for 400 bucks.
Right on! Sorry for the loss but we're in the same boat now! Building one after the green 4.7 blew up

Sorry about that! , No deception intended. I've been doing this stuff for 25 years. Best of luck in your future projects!
Nice job Dan!!!!

Thanks! You too!
Yo, thank you so much, that was the exact noise mine made (that you described) and i feel completely equipped to fix it now.
I've been out to 21 & Lewis.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video. I have to do this on my new WJ
Thank you! God bless!
Warren G 😎 Hey Dan what about Silver Bullet?? I miss my 04 WJ now 😆 I was thinking about getting another idk yet .
Lol. Regulators! Def get one! 4.0 only!!!

I did my passenger side window regulator on my 2004 WJ 'Piggie' last spring. I ordered the regulator from Walmart
I had to change three regulators in 2 years of owning my wj lol and one of them was twice in one year
Hahaha. Sorry man.. that sucks!
Great info as always!! Thank you
thank you!

Maybe something is busted inside.. dona handle swap! I have a good shot of handle swaps in my commander door swap vid and my WJ door swap vid
@@ProjectDanH I'll have to check that out! Wasn't happening before and it's only the passenger door outside handle.
I’ve replaced six of these on my 2004 WJ. Can do it now In about 30 minutes. AZ sun bakes them!
Yes. With our eyes closed too!! Lol

Lol! Yea, it was hard to see the clip while filming. That's why I did the examples outside the door. It's installed correctly now..👍👍
@@ProjectDanH Putting clip on, holding camera, telling every detail of what and how, Yep, you got them UA-cam blues, da daaah dah dunt.
Hey Dan I could use those 2 rods from that door my son in-law lost mine when my regulator went bad....
Send me message on Instagram
Regulators saddle up.......👍👍😁😁
😁
Also one of the main reasons the cable damages is grease ,, the other is worn spring or plastic parts

Where are you located?
wj content! yes!...but you shouldve named the wj...grey ghost
Nope! It's either grey hornet or gail the snail! Hahaha
Hey Dan I have a 2002 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 for sale
How much, how many miles?
A ruler will hold it too.
Yep!

You didn’t specify when and where you plugged the window in!
Well I suppose I plugged the window in before I put the panel back on.
