I knitted this scarf following your excellent tutorial. I remember seeing some comments here by Nancy Marchant, demanding that you take your video down. She may be a talented designer, but what a stupid woman. You must have sold more of her books than she ever did. I got the yarn for your peacock shall and hope to start on it this Christmas. Do you think you could put together a fish scale hat design to go with this scarf? And thank you for all your work you put up here. You have created a community of brioche lovers that eagerly await your every video.
Thank you so much for your kind words and your support!!! The fish scales hat already exists, you can watch the tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/eFuP7CVNW3c/v-deo.html
Thank you very much for your awesome videos! I am a beginner brioche knitter and your embedded chart helped me understand how to knit brioche, it made it so easy and clear. I am practicing now on a one color brioche hat in the round and the stitches started to slant slightly to the right. Wanted to ask you if that is how it suppose to be?
I don't know if you have some instructions to follow, you can look in my video ua-cam.com/video/-ypQBXm5LhQ/v-deo.html I knit a hat. If you want flat brioche just knit only the rib that I explain in the beginning and you can use only one color yarn. In text that would be: Round 1: k1, sl1yo. Round 2: sl1yo, brp1. Round 3: brk1, sl1yo. Then repeat only rounds 2-3.
Thank you very much for your quick response! I watched and partially followed this video but I am trying a simple one color brioche hat in the round for my husband. " Round 1: k1, sl1yo. Round 2: sl1yo, brp1. Round 3: brk1, sl1yo. Then repeat only rounds 2-3" It all looks great except the slightly slanting to the right of the ridges. I am thinking that could be because of the short circular needle I am working on, maybe when I take it off all the ridges will look straight.
Je vais faire un vidéo/une série de vidéos pour un pull de dame, mais avec un autre dessin. J'ai commencé déjà, mais je ne sais pas encore pour quand j'aurais fini avec les vidéo.
Thank you again for this project, it is beautiful like all you teach us.
Thank you very much!!
Sehr gut erklärt. Ich verstehe jetzt Brioche knitting. Vielen Dank

Depends on the pattern. If you knit flat brioche with no pattern there shouldn't be a slant.
It's one color brioche in the round.
Then the stitches shouldn't slant. You should get a 1x1 rib, no slant.
