Do you know anything about solid axle swaps on 99-01 cobras, which ones I could use and if they bolt right in?
Yes they will bolt right in out of a 1999-2004 Mustang GT. Of course you’ll need to use the GT’s upper and lower control arms, and springs. It’s actually a pretty simple swap I can’t remember for sure but I believe I had to do something with the brake lines to make them work as well.

@@jm2529 you'd be surprised you may actually be able to do that or with little boot on top. I would unless it was a handling oriented build. Solid axles can do fine in that regard too it's just over heavy bumps and stuff in a curve is when there's a big difference.

Had a 3650 trans,all 2001 cobras came with a tr3650

The T45 came in the 99, 01s got the 3650.
99s came with T-45 and the 2001s came with TR3650 👍

Really? Wow I figured they would peak around 6300-6500rpm considering the factory rev limiter is 7200rpm and just the fact that they are mod motors which rev higher in general. Do you know by chance if any aftermarket heads have been made for these cars yet? I wanna say they never produced any aftermarket heads for the 4.6 4V engines, only the 2Vs?
@@BamaStreetRacingSociety256 no aftermarket heads they aren't needed as stock 4v heads flow as well as trickflow 2v heads or better lol. Ported 4v and its lights out. Their stock power was at 5800 but it's mostly the long runner intake keeping it that low with a ported short running it'll peak higher and carry the power out alot better and that is magnified with cams. These things are killer man people sleep on what the old 4v is capable of without boost
