Thanks bro 🤙🏻 I want 10s but she’s not running out the back like Tony’s car that would be ideal mph..it was kinda warm out yesterday also, I need to go on a cold cold day and see what she’s got..on the way home I had a 122.7 mph trap on the dragy so I know there is more on the table at the track.

What I can't wrap my head around is the 3-4 drop on these T56/Coyote swap cars! The RPM drop is considerable and it takes a while for the engine to get back up on top of the gear. You can hear it! I really wish I could mod my T56 to have a 1:1 5th like the early MT82s do! Do you feel like your car falls a little on it's face when you hit Fourth? Or that Fourth is a looooooong gear?

Tony has gone 11.1x and 124 mph when he had the 4.88s..He also has the 2.66 T56 and has some rpm drop like mine does even with the 2.97..I did feel the 3-4th gear laziness a lot more with the 28” tall slick compared to my 26” tall street tires but honestly it doesn’t bother me to bad,especially on the street the slight rpm drop from the 3-4 shift isn’t always present, sometimes it hits perfect and gets rack back in the band..I have not captured this on video,just haven’t figured what rpm that is yet,I tend to never look at my tach just go off instinct.Within a few seconds it seems the car freight trains up too 8k rpm at about 130mph in 4th it’s very addicting lol..The MT82 gearing is favorable as I’ve driven that setup aswell they are just so brittle and some work to get in a Fox/SN chassis I would think..

I can never remember what gearset he has in his T56. Mine is the 2.66 First Magnum so I'm curious to see how it's gonna feel on that 3-4.
What's next for your car besides more seat time?
Any chance you'll go back to a 26-inch tall slick to try and drop some rotational weight and regear it or are the bigger 28s better at the hit?

I think I asked him and he said it was a 2.66 trans,I can’t remember..Plans for the car are not much,just enjoy it really,I don’t race often but would like a 10.9X pass for sure..Fitment wise a 26” slick is better for the car and maybe I can get more rpm in 4th we will see..The 28” was on kill with the 60’ and 1st-3rd gears but I could not rpm out the back door like the car does on 26s..I also had a 10” sub/amp and my passenger seat Installed that’s prob 120lbs combined so I think with better air and less weight she could improve numbers but I gotta say I’m highly impressed so far.. How is your project coming along?

How hard was the coyote swap? 10 second stock motor GEN 2 is awesome man. 7500rpm? I’m picking up a Mach 1 this weekend. Already has a built TR3650 and there’s a Gen 1 yote for sale near me. Very temping. How difficult did you find the swap to be? Everyone on UA-cam makes it sound like a breeze.

Thanks bro,the wheels are honestly unknown,they came off an old dragged out 89 Ford ranger and they happen to fit pretty decent and look like a weld magnum knock-off..but no name brand anywhere on the wheels

@@Coyote_Mach thanks, I’ve been debating on building my Mach 1 or going coyote swap either way I’m going to need a t56 but you’ll easily hit 10s with a e85 tune.

@@Coyote_Mach interesting🤔… I was thinking 4.10 would be enough I want to still daily drive it either way but it if I keep the 4.6 I was going to turbo eventually but if I go coyote NA for much longer and maybe a roots style in the future. How’s its road manners on the highway at cruising speeds ?

75-80mph 1700 rpm lol can’t beat it and it has 456s, but even when I was 5 speed on my last Mach I ran 456s aswell and the rpm on the highway wouldn’t bother me.. it’s a over-head cam engine designed for rpms..410s leave alot to be desired in my opinion
