Its our first time in Turkey and we couldn't wait to try Turkish food. Specifically the Turkish breakfast was top of our list. This travel vlog we set off on our round the world trip that will take us 2 years of work and travel. We are both English teaching digital nomads who just need wifi to be able to work.
We explore Antalya old town and an ancient Turkish site, Termessos in the Taurus mountains. We rented a car so we could road trip across the coast of Turkey from Antalya to Bodrum stopping off at a few places on the way.

    About Travel Beans:
Welcome to the official Travel Beans UA-cam channel! On this channel, you’ll find a variety of travel and vlog content, in which you’ll see us in places like Thailand, Japan, USA, Slovenia, and more.
In 2017 we left home with just £500 in our bank account and a dream to make a sustainable full time travel lifestyle happen! We are now living our dream as digital nomads and want to inspire you to create your own story, whatever it may be!
After 5 years of aimless, yet enjoyable, backpacking around the world we found ourselves in New York City battling with depression. At this point, we decided to go home and confront this problem head on. After 6 tough months at home we decided to go away again, but this time with a goal in mind.. to turn travel into a lifestyle.
Our time spent battling depression has influenced our outlook on life dramatically! We are now travelling the world in search of what makes us happy. In our vlogs, we talk openly and honestly about our travel experiences, the digital nomad life and depression. We hope our videos can help to inspire you to create a life that makes you happy!

the amphitheater is a wonderful example of, no matter how powerful a government/society is, nature is greater, and will ultimately reconquer.

Such a good point and it's something that actually gives me solace when I worry bout climate change, decling wildlife etc. Nature will reclaim it, we are just kind of leasing the land from nature atm.

Antalya Turkey is always among top 3 most visited tourism city among all European cities for 2 decades. Spending your 10 nights holiday at 5 star all you can eat buffet restaurants is invincible in lowest prices compared to Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Greece.

Glad that you liked my hometown guys :) You did the best by renting a car because Antalya is a city where you can get the best experience by driving from one place to another rather than just staying in a hotel. I would definitely recommend you visit Olympos, Adrasan, Cirali, Suluada, Patara, Kas, Kalkan, Oludeniz and Marmaris en route to Bodrum. There are more than 200 ancient cities in Antalya so it is most likely you will encounter some of them on your way. ✌

So glad you’re taking the two year route. Such an awesome start already. Turkey is gorgeous. Always wanted to visit. My dad is addicted to Turkish movies/dramas on Netflix (he is Filipino👍) partly because of the beautiful locales and history depicted on the Turkish motion pictures.
Relieved that you survived the crawling creature’s bite. Seek medical attention, please.
As always, you both are awesome💪

I was so happy when your new series popped up on my UA-cam feed. I love hearing your goal to make it to all seven continents, wow!!!👍
I love how you showed the beauty of this country and highlighted areas that are not just tourist traps! Most of the time when I have traveled places I had never heard of before these places have become my favorite memories. Sometimes the "famous" sights are too crowded and too commercialzed.
I can't wait to travel the world with you two! Thank you for an awesome beginning to this adventure.👍🥂🥰 Your videos are my favorite!❤

Earthquakes had ruined the Roman Empire statutes, carvings as well as wars against Iranian army, Hun Empire Army. During April, May, October, November overnighting at 5 star hotels and resorts are priced at 250 tl to 400 tl, all you can eat 3 times a day, alcoholic and cocktail drinks all you can drink included. 1 euro is 9.5 tl, 1 sterling is 12 tl .

For foreign tourists, beware of turkish drivers moving backwards with their cars, sometimes tractors drive towards you on the service road nearby normal double way highways. On the promenade roads of Antalya, police like to detect high speed drivers above 70 kms in the city of Antalya. 100 kms is the norm to drive intercity roads of Antalya to Denizli or Antalya to Alanya at most. Alanya has 500.000 citizens, in Antalya 1.3 million citizens live and work.

Ancient ruins aren't well protected in Turkey as there are literally thousands of them so only more unique ones are well protected. For example we literally have two Roman candlestick in our home which are at least 1500 years old!! We know this as they are made of bronze that my father found them in a river while fishing and he was like ''I became rich'' but after quick research he found out there are like a million of them and they worth only few hundred dolars so he decided to keep them and we still use them as candlestick sometimes😁😁

Martin Ruffe depends where in Turkey you are.Theres an area
In the west called Thrace which is the European part of Turkey is part of Southeastern Europe. It spans an area of 23,764 sq km, which represents only 3 percent of the country. The provinces are Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, and western Istanbul. 😊

It spans both. Istanbul is even a city that crosses continents.
