20:40 another solution, that is a bit more compact, is to put a bearing at the bottom. Pumps can place blocks on bearings, so it should work and never get stuck.

Well it would just detach itself from the bearing, since the Glowbugs eat the bottom first.

You should put a sensor connected to the draw bridges so when you drive up to the draw bridge it will automatically open for you

MM idea for Trailmakers: two people build cars and two people build bombers.Both the cars try to make it to a certain area while the bombers drop bombs the cars can also have guns on them to defend.They can switch vehicles for each round.
Try putting Hank's cage on a small island and lure him in it by building a bridge then he won't escape

to avoid it stacks set timer to 0.5 seconds for feeding.
each glowworm eat every 2 seconds .
if just set with a flash circuit the vacuum feed at around 4.5 sec intervals and this make it go out of sync.

could you make/test a catapult wall, it could work the same as the smaller ones, but the wall could be split into smaller sections.

You know how the glow bugs made your boat move, use cardboard and glow bugs to make an infinite fuel boat.

me: it should be called hmmm.... grand glow auto...... ITS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT
So, thanks to your inspiration, I was able to make a glass and stone elevator with a glow bug pond below it (my base is in the middle of a lake) with automated pumps on both sides, shooting cardboard into a glass wall from either side. I made 200 glow in 10 minutes and realized I needed to slow down the pump timer lol
I was trying to figure out how to get more glow poop to make more batteries, and then you made this! I now have a small version of this system with just 2 glowbugs and it works great! *running in the background as I type muhahahaha

First thing I did was make a gas station but you can't transfer fuel through a vacuum pump to another, I wish that could be a thing
26:42 put small holes that the glow bugs can't get through and the glow poop can get through so there will be one place where the glow poop is instead of having to go in every tank of glow bugs to get the glow poop

Just so you know, the vac pumps can shoot every 400ms. So just set the timer to that so it's not flashing crazy (if u want) it's what I set my pump to for the packing stations. Still think you should make the tree harvester cut the stumps off so you don't even have to get out.

I figured this idea out yesterday and was literally just about to start recording when I saw your thumbnail. Darn you! ;)
build a head on top of the chests of the glowbug farm, it looks like a robot with 4 arms and legs

late game you could automate building a wall, you make it have materials and those vacuum things to build 16 blocks tall at a time, then you run the machine over it several times to get a really big wall that will build itself while you collect resources, you could also have several machines working to make it faster.
You have to build a submarine so the weight is high so it drops it then get thrusters to lift it up with one on the back so you dont have to struggle to find stuff under water
I laughed so hard at "you guys! That's not how you're supposed to eat cardboard!"

IMPROVED GLOWBUG TERRARIUM IDEA:
I would’ve made a similar tank, but without the separating walls so the glow bugs can wander around. Then I’d have the chests and 4 pipe feeders rotate around like some carnival ride so the cardboard is placed at random spots in the aquarium and the glowbugs move around. It would also be easier to collect the glowpoop because it would all be in one tank. Idk, it just seems like a more interesting and fun design.

Hey ScrapMan i would really like to see you make a panic button because if something gets too intense to handle, you can make something that like smacks them around, pushes them far away, or even just launching them into the stratosphere. I think it would be fun and useful. Also make the underwater bridge support out of glass. Love ur vids! :)

You can put a timer on it. That way it only spits them out every 10 seconds or so. "Your preference". I have been using that forever.

Hey scrapman, you could make a 23.55 min timer with a siren, so you always get notified when a raid happens (or when the time is 12.00)
The glow bugs are very powerfull. They can see the cardboard from more than 50 blocks of distance, but over his head they dont see anithing.
You can build a huge boat with they like sailors. Its a v15 with four turbos.
You should give it it’s own craft bot to craft card board and connect that to your crafting complex so it can automatically craft cardboard and give it straight to the glow bugs

With the vacuum pumps you should make a building robot
Maybe if you give hank just a couple more blocks of space he might not need so much milk
Took a piston with a vacuum pump on it turned on and circles around making a base but it doesn't weld the blocks so a pain to delete

Also I know why the left side is slower it's because you have had them for longer and fed them more so they are fatter which means they eat slower. Science
