Unfortunately the prices on the triumph website don't include fitting. You need to add that, at your dealers hourly rate, for time shown for each accessory. My dealer charged a different rate for anything ordered with the bike though, fitted at PDI time (think it was 10% of the accessory price).
So when you add in fitting some of them become very expensive.

It’s quite odd that as when you order a car with accessories it comes factory fitted paying only for the accessory.
Luckily I struck a fitting deal with my dealer so only paid a minimal charge for fitting and I had quite a few accessories fitted.

Took delivery of one yesterday…… full luggage ( top box ungainly but cavernous), heated grips ( pretty useless…. compared to my Guzzi V85) , driving lamps ( absolutely essential for serious night driving … and being seen)… annoyed at no included USB port ! Standard seat height just about tolerable for a short a--e ! Running in going to be hell ….. as there’s definitely some eager horses down below ! Evidently light and manoeuvrable …. didn’t bother test riding…… as billions of UA-camrs can’t all be wrong ! Keep up the good work ! P.S. previous 2 year owner of H2 Kwacker

    Hi Kate,
Pick up my Tiger 660 in 2 weeks. I’ve got the Blue one on order, love it in that colour. I have added colour coded panniers, hand guards, power socket, frame protectors and the belly pan to finish it off. I might add the top box at a later date. I thought I’d hold fire on the comfort seat until I’ve given it a few miles on the standard seat.
I have a Tiger 800 xcx and with my PCP deal about to run out, was looking to get a Tiger Sport 850, but due to lack of stock and was told by a few dealers they may not be in until October, so decided on the 660 based on a thorough test ride. It’s a smaller bike but absolutely loved it, good engine and pretty good brakes, it handles very well and easy to ride. I’m 6ft, with fairly long legs and found it very comfortable and not cramped at all. I wanted something much more road focused than my current bike with less gadgets that I never use and much more wallet friendly. My current Tiger 800 felt heavy in comparison on the ride home after testing the 660. Looking forward to picking it up!

Am taking a rusty rider refresher course tomorrow and was going to buy a new 660 in blue but dealership has had a second hand one come in with genuine reason for selling. This has panniers, quick shift, heated grips and only 2000 miles on it. Pending my training after a long time off bikes I have a small deposit securing it. Big saving from a new bike!Love your reviews on this bike.

I got the Lucerne Blue last year and had a great road trip through the Alps over summer. Having all the luggage made it a lot easier. I'm taking it to the workshop on Wednesday to have the MAP-Sensor replaced as part of the recall on this model. They applied a software patch when I took it in a month ago (probably developed as part of the recall), and that helped a lot. It has only cut out twice since then, but obviously it will be nice to get this problem fixed permanently. Apart from that, I really love this bike and can't wait to take it up to Scandinavia next year.

Nice video as always, Kate. One thing that I saw once on another channel, was at the beginning of the video, they put a screen shot of google maps or something with the route they took highlighted, so you know where they went and could follow the route or just have an idea of what part of the world they are in. The scenery you went through was lovely and the roads looked great. I'd be nice to know where you were so if someone is ever in that part of the world, they can follow your tyre tracks. Might be a bit more work, but it's a cool feature that would document your rides. Would be great for the Scotland trip series you made with Mike.
As for the Trumpy, I'd go with heated grips, USB socket and connectivity and that's about it. Then again, I'm used to a 998 Blackbird that has nothing fancy on it!

Excellent video, thanks! Lots of great information as well. I'm going to be taking home one of these beautiful bikes hopefully very soon. I'm just waiting till one of my preferred colours comes in, which are blue and red (in that order). Also, I definitely want the handguards but I might wait on the heated grips till September or so at this point. I might also get the TFT connectivity but I'm not sure. It might be nice to be able to listen to music or podcasts on longer trips or whatever. I didn't know there were fog lights available but I'd love to get those as well! We'll see. I was originally thinking I'd just get all the aftermarket accessories sometime later but there are a few "nice to haves" in the list, innit. I'd have the Red, with quick shift and panniers, the rack for the top box but not the box (prefer a soft bag) never had heated grips but maybe I'd go for them too. Did you mention the Triumph blue tooth add on, is that available for this model? Oh and I've got to say, well done for not editing out the sat nav blooper, it did make me laugh. And your remark when you came to the tight left hander, 'This path what's going on? And all this crap on the road!' Like it's not a country road. LOL!! May I make a suggestion, you were travelling on some technical bits today which required full concentration, perhaps you could ride and then stop, reel off some stuff and then carry on. Might avoid you losing concentration and having a problem. Not a criticism, as you seem more than able, just thinking about your safety is all. Anyway up, really enjoyed the video, keep up the good work.
