I just bought a 660 last week. Excellent bike. I found your channel and your videos have been most helpful . I used them to install a top case and the hand guards. Great videos on the 660. Thanks.
Just wanna say that your videos have been helpful for me, as a 660 owner (same colour even). I had the same issues with the tightened chain noise, and warranty issues with my quickshifter.
I ran for 7 months without the topbox before putting it on. I found no discernable difference in the ride. The windscreen and your body is already deflecting almost all the forward force, it would just be side winds that would push it, and the bike is a much bigger sail than a rounded top box. You need one more upgrade...the Yoshi full exhaust. Completely transforms the sound and adds hp and torque. This was the first one the Triumph dealer installed, and it drew a crowd when we lit it up the first time in the dealership. It sounds better than any of my 3 other bikes and they all have full systems. Cheers!!
Really appreciate your careful and thorough presentation of installing these accessories. I’m picking up my new TS660 on Friday and will be adding a top box mount. Am also interested to see what you have to say about the quick shifter. Will watch that one later. Much appreciated from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks. That has all been helpful. I usually get a top box for my bikes which tend to double as a backrest for my wife when she rides pillion.on Bonnevilles I had “sissy” back rests which are great. Also helpful was your previous video regarding the experiments with the windshield, which are always a hassle but a necessary evil for half the year here in 🇬🇧. I’m picking my bike up soon. The only possible extra not mentioned by you is a SW Motech Pro Daypack Tank Bag I’ve used on previous bikes. That needs a special Pro Tank Ring for Tiger 660 because of where the gas/petrol cap is. I kind of got used to tank bags when I had a quick release bag on an old R1200RT I had. Thanks again. Your videos have been the more useful Tiger 660 reviews imho.
Good mention! Yes, they do offer some nice quality color panels for the top and side cases for matching the bike color. The top case back rest would definitely be recommended if you do two-up riding.
Your videos have been a great help to all of us installing these upgrades. I've run a top case in the past and what you are feeling is real and normal. I only used one when going to and from a riding destination (Deal's Gap, for example - a 350 mile trip for me each way). You didn't mention your windscreen trials. I suppose you've decided to stay stock? Thanks again for the awesome videos.
Tha panniers are great, just be careful when opening them! Also, I went up one tooth on the front sprocket and it made a huge difference. It’s not as much like shifting a dirt bike now. Great video!
looks good. once you have storage like that on a bike, there is no going back. I went with a used 2021 NC750x manual as it was way less then a new Tiger 660. It'd be nice to have both...The Honda feels like....a Honda Accord. Nothing flashy...but comfy and dependable. Love what you've done with the Tiger
Hi Saw all your Tiger 660 videos Got good idea about accessories One question i have , does the top box makes noise while riding on bad road, as my earlier bike(Tiger 900 with stock box) was having play between rack & plate which was making lot of noise while riding.
Been enjoying your videos on the Tiger Sport 660. Did you hear that Puig has a new touring windscreen for the Tiger 660? Hoping you can get one (free) to test it out!
Thank You. Do you think you might install the frame protectors? Your videos are great. I’m not very mechanically inclined but with your videos I have installed everything except the frame protectors and the Triumph interface module. Is the interface module worth buying or would putting my phone on a mount be just as good? Thanks very much!
I was thinking about getting the Bluetooth module for quite a while. The install looks pretty easy but the device needs to be activated by the service center. The labor cost involved for that activation was almost as much as the hardware itself, unfortunately. I decided not to get it due to cost alone. The functionality looks useful though. The frame sliders are nice on this bike. I don't have any plans to install them at this time though. Hope this helps 😀
Ever had the opportuniy to try the comfort seat? Been wondering if its a good upgrade or should I search for a custom one. After 1 hour of straight driving my butt hurts quite a lot. I know you are supposed to take a break from time to time but sometimes the rest of the group dont think the same lol
I bought the corbin seat for my 660….. was hard at first…. But settling in nicely…. It adds another inch or so to the height…. But it looks amazing…. I got the blue cord that matches the bike…gives a whole new look to the bike
Thanks for the install videos I found them useful Shame you ride out videos are just straight roads... don't you have many twisty roads where you live ?
I installed the fog lights. It was relatively easy to do. Just followed the instructions. The lighting at night is way better. Nice broad bright beam. At first I was getting people flashing high beams at me. I lowered the beams a bit. They are made very well. Sturdy, look great and very effective.
Nice video bro and thanx! Love this bike, do you think is beginner friendly or maybe to much for a first bike!? I want a bike for 60% commuting (town, work..) and 40% touring for the beginning. Regards from far away Serbia 🇷🇸 and ride safe ✌️
It would probably be a great first "big" bike for someone that has some riding experience. Not that a beginner couldn't handle it, but the power on tap might require a little more restraint for a new rider so that it doesn't get away from them.
You have saved me a fortune in dealer installation fees. I watched you pannier instal and hand guard video and heated grip’s video. Do you use the hand guards with the heated grips? Thanks so much for your videos! Great job
Has the quickshifter been working good since you've swapped it? I've been having this problem where my quickshifter gets stuck/hard when shifting from 2 to 3 gear. Only between this two gears. It doesn't happen always, but when it does its only when im pushing the bike hard. I went to triumph dealership but they couldn't find the issue and told me to keep riding it to see if it happens more frequently. But like i said it only happens some times. Its not rare or something, it happens a good amount of times and i just want to solve it
@@diogomartins5155 Yes, I did. The local dealership was unable to completely fix the issue. Either the hardware has an issue or the dealership is not trained properly. I have already had the hardware replaced once after they detected that the upshift wires were losing signal during a diagnostic.
Thanks!
Much appreciated, thanks for watching! 😀

Hmmm, that does sound pretty interesting 😀
Thank you again for all these fantastic videos…. My luggage rack hasn’t arrived yet, but I will be using your video as the install guide when I do!!
I'm so glad that the videos are helpful. Good luck with your install 👍
Just picked up my 660 tiger sport today I ordered a quick shifter and a comfort seat . I will be following you for sure!!!!

Thanks for the comment! I think those tank bags are great and I would likely add one if I had a big trip planned 👍
The top case also can have a nice color panel on top, gray in your case, and a soft back rest

Glad you like the videos! I've gone back to stock windscreen for now. I'm waiting for Puig to get theirs released.
@@KSSTUDIOS The Puig sport (smaller) one? Picking up my TS 660 next week and considering that or the small Powerbronze one as a "summer" option

Thanks, I've always felt that the gears were a bit short on the TS660.
where did you get the sprocket?
@@LeeCaterson eBay, can’t remember exactly. It was less than $20
no question, just a big thanks!
You bet!

I bought the sapphire blue, but definitely, yours is the coolest color. Nice upgrades, by the way 👌
Awesome! Thank you!
Just bought my top case, I do not like the side ones, waiting for it to arrive to install it :D
Picking my 660 next week. Love from India
Congrats on the new bike! 😀
Have you had any issues with your Triumph and the MAP sensor and hose restrictor shutting off the engine when you pull in the clutch?
No, luckily I haven't had any issues like that.
Good video - I just brought one of these bikes home today :)
Enjoy!
Hi
Saw all your Tiger 660 videos
Got good idea about accessories
One question i have , does the top box makes noise while riding on bad road, as my earlier bike(Tiger 900 with stock box) was having play between rack & plate which was making lot of noise while riding.
Great video! I have the same bike. I installed top case first, and then ordered panniers. No problem with top case at all.
Nice 👍
i have a xxl shoei helmet....its fits in the pannier. flip it upside down and backwards
Thanks for the comment. I think my attached camera gear causes most fitment issues I have with panniers but this could help others out there.
I have the same top case fitted to my tiger 660 sport and have noticed the same issues. It does feel like you are being held back at slow speeds.
Thanks for the comment!

Never tried the comfort seat on the Tiger Sport, unfortunately. The stock one does get a little hard after a short ride.
I want to change the exhaust system. Any advice?? If i do it, should I change it again to get the state inspection or not ??
Thanks for the install videos
I found them useful
Shame you ride out videos are just straight roads... don't you have many twisty roads where you live ?
How easy is it getting on and off the bike with the top box? I will readily admit to not being very flexible!
I stand on the left foot peg like an ADV bike and just tuck my foot in so it doesn't hit the top case. The side stand is sturdy enough to handle it.
Has anyone installed the accessory lighting? I'm considering that or an aftermarket light setup for my dark commuting

Considering a 660 as a do it all bike but worried that it will be down on power on my Ducati Scrambler 800 Flat Track Pro. (Real world not specs).
My father's 660 with 5 thousand kms lowered the oil level, the strange thing is the triumph gazer the change every 16 thousand kms. I'm from Brazil

Glad I could help
can we see your microphone setup for your helmet?
I can do an updated video in the future showing the setup. The gear I use is listed on our site for reference ksstudios.com/gear-we-use

I still have issues between 1st and 2nd fairly often. I've gotten to the point where I only use the quick shifter from 2nd gear up to 6th.
@@KSSTUDIOS but did you go to triumph explaining your issue?

You don't lane filter since they legalized it?
I take advantage of it sometimes, but drivers around here aren't really used to it yet. I try to avoid altercations while recording videos.
Lack of cruise control is a non-starter for me....I would consider it if it had it. Throttle locks aren't good enough for me.
