Its History Behind The Warrior and welcome to the first of many remastered 'History Of Mortal Kombat' videos!
Now In todays video I will be doing a remaster of an old episode of mine 'History Of Sub Zero'! the old and original video Is extremely out out date!
It Is also infact also missing a few key and important bits of infortmation from Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero! So If you have seen the original you will be getting a new experience!
Now I hope you find this video Informative as it Is drastically very different to the original!
In this video I have decided to cover all canon appearances of Sub Zero within the main lore of the Mortal Kombat series ,so I will be including every instalment except MKvsDC, as the events that transpire with MK9 lines up more then that oh the crossover.
So for the purposes of keeping it accurate to the lore I will be stick to that!
For the most port I wanted to focus on the Sub Zero character as the title has been held by two people in both timelines, with one of them undergoing a visual change! So I strictly wanted to make this a sub zero video!
Any who I hope you enjoy this video as their will be much more to come over the next few weeks, I've been wanting to do this for awhile and I have snuck In some nods to the original series through the video Itself so have fun picking up on them!

As someone who played bits and pieces of the first three games as a kid, I really appreciate these videos. I wasn't aware MK had such a rich history considering I'd all but forgotten about fighting games after the snes. Thank you very much for the well put together videos whenever they get released.
Sub Zero’s new design looks more loyal to his original appearance than other renditions, although imo MKX’s design looked cooler, along with Injustice 2’s version
EndoScorpion I still like Sub Zero’s Injustice design, maybe it’s a bit over the top, but still looks dope

@@agamemnonahb Didn't Boon say that it was their greatest mistake? One that he quickly rectified releasing UMK3. Scorpion by far is the most popular character in the series alongside Sub Zero.
They didn’t really add Sub Zero in MK3 since it was not Ninja Sub Zero it was just Sub Zero with no mask and shirt
@@howardthealien2606 it was Sub Zero. All of his signature moves were there. He has had a lot of redesigns over the years this was just the second one.

kuai liang is the better Sub-Zero, becoming Grandmaster, restablishing the Lin Kuei plus surpassing Bi-han in cryomancy abilities
I prefer khai liang cause he is better and mercy than his brother
And i love how he use kronika hourglass to bring bi han back
To be fair Bi Han was killed before he could achieve anything else but yea I do prefer Kuai Liang over him. Kuai Liang is just an overall better person than his brother was.
Agreed im more of a Kuai Liang guy too tbh but Bi Han was more ruthless... yet Kuai Liang is more of an honorable warrior allie to his friends and great Grandmaster!

@-Kk Medique What's confusing? Hanzo dies goes to the NetherRealm Quan Chi tricks him into thinking the Lin Que and sub zero were responsible for slaughtering his clan he turns into scorpion and then kills B han and the rest is history .
Thank you for such a detailed origins story of not only my favourite MK character, but probably my favourite character in all video game industry!
I'd like to add an info behind that Kuai Liang's scar though. In previous timeline it is Kung Lao who injures Sub-Zero's eye with his hat. It is shown in MK: Shaolin Monks. Though I don't know for sure if this game was ever a part of officially confirmed storyline:/
And in new timeline Sub got his scar from Kano's sudden attack with Kamidogu dagger, as we can see in this video.
I hope he saves his best friend Smoke and meets his brother Bi-Han
He did both already well in the new timeline he was saved by Smoke and the Earthrealm since in this timeline Kuai Liang was in the same position Smoke was in he meets Noob Saibot he in his Cyber Sub Zero section where he goes to monitor Quan Chi and inform the Earthrealmers about the soulnado that Quan Chi is casting to absorb the souls of Earthrealmers

I get the feeling that the more this new time line develops, the more Sub Zero will consider moving the Lin Kuie to a snowy wasteland or mountain landscape in Outrealm.
An interesting thing about the LIn Kuei is there was an organization in China that was referred to as the same name, that are basically the pioneers of Ninjutzu and the teachings of the Ninja. Lin Kuei roughly is translated to "forest demons."

@@WontSmith The thing is that this videos help us to remember/know the story of the character before MK11. And more, MK11 comes with the time travel stories, wich could ad more things to the overall MK story.
Plus there will be refrences to characters pasts in MK11 so these vidoes help new comers to understand the world. And as we will all play 11 we will know how the story go's for that character.

Chose the main skin for sub-zero amd his alternate skin in a fight in mk9 and bum kuai liang vs bi-han (because the alternate skin is actually bi-han)

Man, Mortal Kombat and Injustice are the best fighting game in terms of story. Why can't other fighting games like King of Fighters, Street Fighter, Tekken, etc be that good? Though Virtua Fighter actually does have a good story.

I liked Tekken's 7 Story mode a lot actually. In terms of tension, there is nothing even close to the last fight between Kazuya and Heihachi in Mortal Kombat's story. And the fight between Heihachi and Kazumi was really good as well. It just has so much more emotions in it. Though in terms of the story itself I will agree that MK is better.

Bi Han and Kuai Liang aren;t that far apart in age. Kuai Liang is at least 1 or 2 years younger which is hinted in the MK9 Sub-Zero that shows both of them being carried away from their parents.

Yeah I knew it would be longer doing both brothers but as a huge sub zero fan it was a great video tbh!! Next video you should do Baraka I have a feeling it’ll be a fairly easy video to do. Ohh and I’m hoping in mk11 it’ll be a story line between subzero vs noob and smoke again him trying to bring his brother and best friend back from there revenant forms.
