@ In children, they can sometimes grow out of it. Asthma can be aggravated by factors such as air pollution, so symptoms can completely settle in some cases when these triggers are removed, but for most people with asthma, it will be a life-long condition to keep under control.
Sustaining permanent lung damage, in 2020, frm both Covid19 pneumonia and bacterial pneumonia, inhalers are now part of my everyday life. Always good to have reminder on proper usage ~ ☀️♥️
I ended up in the emergency room last year with the regular flu, pneumonia, sepsis, racing heart, enlarged heart and enlarged lungs. Yesterday I switched from Spiriva and Symbicort to Trelegy.
@Klaatu2Too that sounds hellish. I had bacterial pneumonia weeks ago, but I'm still struggling with breathing, and i think i have pericarditis or something, koz my left side is hurting so bad. I did 2 courses of antibiotics, but I'm still feeling it, like I'm developing Tuberculosis or something 😂😂
Those who has asthma I recommend to take high dose of vitamin D3 about 20,000 IU along with complex of magnesium to activate vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 complex to absorb everything. Good luck on your journey! It should help you to forget about your asthma and live regular life again. 👍 This sprays are only temporary symptoms relief and nothing more than that. 🤔
Im not a huge supplement fan for most people, but agree vitamin d and magnesium are great options for many reasons. The ‘reliever’ inhalers only give temporary relief (but can be life-saving’, whereas the ‘preventers’ are important for keeping asthma under control.
This little thing is a life saver, I’ve been having this for the past 10yrs now and it has helped me so many times. I don’t have officially asthma but I have attacks with the exact same symptoms caused by bad allergies ( my pulmonologist tells me it is allergic asthma ) so I have an inhaler I have to use during attacks and one I have to use everyday to prevent attacks cause I ended up having two ‘’ Asthma ‘’ attacks per days and also have pills for allergies two times a day.
Thanks for your tutorial! I don't need it all the time but today with the lawn being cut I could feel that I should use it ...had to look at your video that I saved, thanks again!
I would like to interject for just a moment to tell you my take on it. I'm certainly not a doctor but Ive been an RN for 25 years. For 15 plus years I worked in the hospital then specialized pediatric Home Care and now a school nurse. So I use these inhalers with my students daily. For young children I actually have an alternative way of doing it. I have them, if they are actively wheezing, sit upright with their hands, both on top of their head. Open up the rib cage. I then do one pump, inhale and hold for 10 seconds. I wait a minute. Then we do the second. Same way. If a student does not have a spacer it is very difficult for them not to lose some of the medication unfortunately due to a bad seal or due to them not holding it. Using this technique, I feel like it allows the medication to go completely down into the lungs deeply. Even for adults, even for my children, I encourage them to do one pump with the deep breath and wait 10 seconds. Wait a minute or two and then do the second. Afterwards I always encourage splash of water on the face followed by rinsing of the mouth. Thrush can be a major side effect for those that are in a flare and using these inhalers or nebulizers or a regular basis for a period of time.
Thanks so much, Dr Sophie ❤🙏🏻 I have been prescribed both the Salbutamol and the Apo-fluticasone but they haven’t helped my coughs yet… I’m assuming I was using them wrong …
should i breathe out through my nose or mouth, or does it not matter? i've seen videos where it recommends breathing out through the nose. thank you :)
Proper use for best effect is to use it with an aero chamber, otherwise a majority of the medication hits the back of the throat and never makes it into the lungs.

I use one. However it's not just a case of breathing it in. You need to keep breathing and expanding your lungs so it hits the upper part of the lung. If not you only do half a job

There are lots of variations, so speak to your health care provider to find out what is most suitable.
think you i needed this information
Thank you 🙏🏼
I'm 26yrs old asthma patient i started working out but could not run more than five minutes...what to do?
You need to consult your healthcare team for an asthma review.
As I depress my inhaler, I breathe in as far as I can. I count to 10, and I try to breathe in just a little bit more and then I exhale.
Sounds good
Thank you
I just bought mine checking on how to use it just came across this tutorial ❤😅
Hope you find it helpful!
Doc..pliz suggest me best inhaler medicine for bronchial asthama..My age is 33....
Lots of good options, but not the same for everyone, so please get an asthma review from a healthcare professional
Doctor How many inhaler puffs is OK to take only 1 puff or we can take more than 1 puff at a time ?
It depends on your inhaler and prescription, often it is two.
THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL 😘🥰🥰🥰
Ohhh I dropped mine in dirt and it made my asthma even worse thx for the tip
This can be life saving
Yes, sadly, there are many deaths from asthma every year, so I really hope this helps lots of people.

Nope, studies have proven for adults with correct technique, the use of a spacer makes no difference and just adds to plastic waste.

What is the best cure for Asthma? Is it using an Inhaler or using a Nebulizer?
All depends, usually inhalers are the first step in treatment

It will work much better without the cap 😁
