My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We saw over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

Love your channel!! I have enjoyed working with small engines since I was 8 or 10 years old. Growing up, I had a number of go-karts and mini bikes and also would cut grass during the summer to earn extra income, so I spent a lot of time working on, and maintaining my toys and equipment and had a wonderful dad and uncles that would always help me. I'm now 67 and retired and tinker with lawn mowers, weed eaters, go karts, mini bikes and anything else I can get my hands on. Started watching your channel and subscribed about 4 months ago. You are absolutely amazing, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable in everything that you do. I think you are so sincere and honest about helping people save money, time and frustration. You offer so much information and share so much knowledge that you've gained. You're sincerity for helping others comes across so strong and it shows from the number of subscribers you have gained and the success you have achieved.

Shop looks great. Good luck on the Chevy. You have come a long way. But, do not forget safety. Need hand rails on the stairs going up stairs. Needs stencil of weight limit of the loft. It would not hurt to have safety inspection for OSHA and Fire inspection. Tire changer should be in a less travel area. It takes a lot of work to make a work shop. It takes more work to make a safe work shop.

That is where you are wrong. I work in a Diesel shop and we clean up everyday. All our tools are put away the floors are sweep any catch cans we have used is pour out and cleaned for the next job. I can't stand a nasty old shop with crap laying everywhere. And yes we are getting the work done. So don't let a clean shop fool ya. some of us don't like working in a nasty place.

@@GeorgeT6566 All depends on the shop I suppose. I've seen immaculate shops that couldn't replace a spark plug without screwing it up and I've seen shops that looked like dumps do excellent work. I understand about working in a nasty shop, I worked in plenty of them in my working days. I used to work in the hydraulics industry and our shop was never super clean. But it paid the bills.

Keep up the great work. I did all kinds of small engine and equipment repairs until I was injured and couldn't do it anymore. I still work on my own stuff and the occasional relative or neighbors stuff. I watch every video you make for two reasons. The first one is it makes me feel like I am still in the loop and secondly you often remind me of things that have kinda faded from my mind and you keep me up to date on some of the new advacments that I otherwise wouldn't see or know about. I am glad that I stumbled upon your channel a few years ago and subscribed to it. Thanks for all that you do for everyone that wants to learn, or at least try and save some money and frustration.

That was so kind of you... You know, I've been rooting for you because I found your channel just before you closed up your shop and went on to "the next level". I really hope you succeed and can put that driveway in sooner rather than later :)

    Congratulations on 400K
Great choice picking that kid, I'm sure that will come in handy for him. I've been organizing my Garage and my reloading area for 33 years and neither is perfect, the reloading station was clean juat so I didn't mess up but the garage has been clean maybe 8 days over the 33 years, maybe because when I start one project something else happens and I end up two years down the road on the one thing I was originally fixing.
