My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We saw over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

Here's a link to I Love Machines225 channel www.youtube.com/@ILOVEMACHINES225
Love your show
Hi Bre,
Enjoyed the video, as I do all of them. Keeping fingers crossed you make 500K by years end. That would make a nice Christmas present. You, Ron and the rest of the family stay safe.
Congrats Chickanic! I'm a big fan of yours. I'm living here in Central FL, lots of work to be done during the summer months. Keep pumping out those videos so we can learn from the pros!
A working shop is never tidy. Thank you Chickanic for sharing.
If it gets cleaned up you forget where things are!
@@PlanetaryThoughts9861 My issue is I'm always misplacing or forgetting where I put it so I order another tool or part just to find it after I receive the part. I have several measuring tapes as an example. 🙂
If a shop is operating room clean don't trust them that means they not busy and that means something
@@douglaskerr6813 Wholeheartedly agree!
That was sooo cool that you chose that young man for the first place winner. How stoked is he going to be? Over the moon, I would suspect. Thank you for your tutorials. Keep up the great job!
Love the channel and see why you have 400K subcribers. Thank you for sharing great tips.
You have done an awesome and amazing job. Keep up the great work
I do so enjoy your videos. Thank you so much. I've learned some that's helped not only me, but my friends and neighbors also.
Congratulations on 400k. Shop looks great.
You are amazing. I learn something every time I watch one of your videos. This 77 year old guy finds it hard to believe that a woman knows so much about small engines but you never cease to amaze me. Congratulations on one of the best UA-cam channels out there!
Yes . She is beautful clear through . Very envious person .
I bet the trash feminine Nazis hate her . We love her .
Look up Minute of Mae . C and Arsenal . She is a classic beauty . Mae shoots guns .
This lady Chickanic is beautiful clear through .
Why do you find it hard to believe that a woman can be a mechanic? I find it hard to believe that you’ve been alive for 77 years and are still sexist. I can’t believe I have to tell a 77 year old to grow up!
I love watching your videos. I've learned so much from you. ❤
Congratulations, Bre, on your success!!!! 400,000 is amazing 👏. As long as you keep teaching, I'll keep learning and watching. Thanks for all you do. You have saved me so much money. I've even bought things back from the dead.

I love your shop tour! Could you make a video recommending a group of tools essential to someone who has yard and garden equipment and wants to start doing more repairs? I mean beyond things like pliers, screwdriver and common tools. Thank you.

I'm very impressed with what you have already done with your new shop. I thought it would take years to get it where you are at. That is a lot to organize.

The place looks great. 60 years of stuff.

Don't let perfection be the enemy of good.
Thanks for sharing this milestone, Bre. I've learned a *ton* of good stuff going through your videos, and I'm grateful you took the time to teach me. Looking forward to learning more with your channel. And I'm hoping Ron gets better.
Shop has really come together! Congrats on your 400K subscribers. Thx for all the great information and help.
Ta for the shout out Hun.. I really appreciate it.. I'm still growing channel wise.. hopefully hit the big time one day.. hope you and Ron are doing good.
Wow. All the hard work paid off…..with more hard work. Great job Bre. Peace
New shop looks great. Getting things organized after a move is a headach. We moved 8 years ago and I'm still changing things around in my home shop.
Thanks for the tour! Worked as a small engine mechanic back in the early 70's (probably before you were born) and love your shop set up! Your UA-cam videos have helped me fix a cranky string trimmer and backpack blower, so you saved me money - thanks!
It looks great for you but a parts loft for a person with a hip problem? Are you asking for problems?
Getting this young fellow started as a repair shop is utterly fantastic! Good luck young man!
Thank you so much for your support
Congratulations Mrs. Bre shows what happen to Great folks with awesome content Mam
You guys are an inspiration. I admire your initiative and hard work.
I can't explain why but I agree about a familiar feeling toolbox. When my big ones were new 25+ years ago it took time to get used to them. When I buy toolboxes for my worksheds I always buy old used ones. I can usually move right in after a good cleaning and drawer slide lube!
Love your channel!! I have enjoyed working with small engines since I was 8 or 10 years old. Growing up, I had a number of go-karts and mini bikes and also would cut grass during the summer to earn extra income, so I spent a lot of time working on, and maintaining my toys and equipment and had a wonderful dad and uncles that would always help me. I'm now 67 and retired and tinker with lawn mowers, weed eaters, go karts, mini bikes and anything else I can get my hands on. Started watching your channel and subscribed about 4 months ago. You are absolutely amazing, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable in everything that you do. I think you are so sincere and honest about helping people save money, time and frustration. You offer so much information and share so much knowledge that you've gained. You're sincerity for helping others comes across so strong and it shows from the number of subscribers you have gained and the success you have achieved.
Thanks again for all the help you've given me by watching your videos and I wish you continued success!!
Steve 👍😊😊
Congratulations, you have achieved a two great milestones your new shop and your subscribers. I have le armed a lot from you, thank you!
Congratulations on 400,000 I'm sure there will be many more subscribers. Congratulations to all the winners. Your shop looks great it's a working shop don't be embarrassed you've done a great job organizing. Just want to thank you again for helping me learn about small engine repair. Look forward to every video thank you thank you thank you
Shop looks great. Good luck on the Chevy. You have come a long way. But, do not forget safety. Need hand rails on the stairs going up stairs. Needs stencil of weight limit of the loft. It would not hurt to have safety inspection for OSHA and Fire inspection. Tire changer should be in a less travel area. It takes a lot of work to make a work shop. It takes more work to make a safe work shop.
Love your choice of the first scope. That's pretty awesome!
I have to say that I learned a lot from your ideas. I enjoy keeping my small engines in pristine condition. Thanks for content!
WOOHOO!!! Congratulations!!! I look forward to watching for another 400,000 subscribers
Always remember, perfect is the enemy of good enough.
Picking that boy to win was a really good thing. Just another reason why I enjoy your channel. You’re good people.
When a shop is super clean and tidy, that tells me they aren't doing much work. The best shops are always in disarray but they get the job done.
That is where you are wrong. I work in a Diesel shop and we clean up everyday. All our tools are put away the floors are sweep any catch cans we have used is pour out and cleaned for the next job. I can't stand a nasty old shop with crap laying everywhere. And yes we are getting the work done. So don't let a clean shop fool ya. some of us don't like working in a nasty place.
@@GeorgeT6566 All depends on the shop I suppose. I've seen immaculate shops that couldn't replace a spark plug without screwing it up and I've seen shops that looked like dumps do excellent work. I understand about working in a nasty shop, I worked in plenty of them in my working days. I used to work in the hydraulics industry and our shop was never super clean. But it paid the bills.
Keep up the great work. I did all kinds of small engine and equipment repairs until I was injured and couldn't do it anymore. I still work on my own stuff and the occasional relative or neighbors stuff. I watch every video you make for two reasons. The first one is it makes me feel like I am still in the loop and secondly you often remind me of things that have kinda faded from my mind and you keep me up to date on some of the new advacments that I otherwise wouldn't see or know about. I am glad that I stumbled upon your channel a few years ago and subscribed to it. Thanks for all that you do for everyone that wants to learn, or at least try and save some money and frustration.
That was so kind of you... You know, I've been rooting for you because I found your channel just before you closed up your shop and went on to "the next level". I really hope you succeed and can put that driveway in sooner rather than later :)
Congratulations on 400K
Great choice picking that kid, I'm sure that will come in handy for him. I've been organizing my Garage and my reloading area for 33 years and neither is perfect, the reloading station was clean juat so I didn't mess up but the garage has been clean maybe 8 days over the 33 years, maybe because when I start one project something else happens and I end up two years down the road on the one thing I was originally fixing.
