Ramen isn't very filling. Try adding an egg or imitation crab for cheap protein, and vegetables for fiber, and suddenly you'll feel much fuller, without spending too much extra money.

Imagine escaping from a dictator regime and yet instead of obtaining the sweet taste of freedom, he is assaulted by the guilt of leaving his family behind.

I remember him when he was a diplomat in Hanoi. From what I remeber, before he defected, he was a very hard working person and he was a very well respected diplomat too. Most of the North Korean diplomats we met back then were very nice people and hard working. Their families always try to learn about the outside world but very discretely. If they were found to secretly learn English, that would be very bad for them. I feel so bad for him after learning about his situation and his family back in North Korea

Such a simple mukbang video of a north korean eating ramyeon but yet, theres so much to learn from him. From his gratitude for hot water, joy in eating the cheapest instant noodles we can easily obtain, queer way of cooking noodles without boiling the water, and sitting on the floor to eat without a table. To be fair, he did say he was actively feeling guilty about leaving his family behind and believing some of his lot in life may be [divine] punishment.
Also bear in mind this guy was a high-ranking person in North Korea working in foreign affairs, so his demeanor may be very different. He also hasn't been in South Korea for very long. His apartment is very barren and he's still marveling at the culture shock.
I saw the human with him talking about food initially and about having hot water.

Then to also say how much you miss said place after leaving your family to die there. I have alot of sympathy for people but he was one of the people helping to create that environment to not show any remorse. Except for the remorse to go back is not ok to me.
