Lovely and informative review as always Sam 👏🏻👏🏻 I’ve not seen a 408 in person yet but I did look very closely at it’s sister car the Citroen C5X. The two cars look similar in lots of ways and I think I prefer the look of the Citroen more but that could change when I actually see a 408 in person 😂 I agree too that blue looks amazing - really similar to the petrol blue I had on my Yeti outdoor about 7 years ago - I loved that colour so great to see Peugeot are giving a decent colour for free. One thing which surprised me with the C5X is that it’s built in China - I’m sure I read somewhere it’s the first Stellantis product to be built in China and shipped back to Europe (So very like the two Volvo S90s I’ve had). I’m guessing it’ll be the same with the 408 too? What eventually put me off the Citroen was the engine. On paper the 1.2 seems perfect for what I need and the plug in was more than I’d want to spend, trouble is that PSA 1.2 turbo petrol has a huge problem with its wet timing belts (like the 1.0 Ford ecoboost). In mainland Europe there has been lots of media coverage about this as many of these 1.2 engines are suffering from oil starvation. From what I’ve read it’s due to the timing belt breaking down as it ages in the engine oil (and clogging the oil pickup feed to the oil pump). So your advice to upgrade to the plug in hybrid could be extremely sound advice. I’m not sure if it has a wet timing belt too but if it doesn’t then it’s definitely the engine to go for in the 408 or C5X. Great work as always on the review - keep them coming😊
Yes the housing are there for them but allure doesn’t have front sensors, they just have them so they don’t have to make different parts for each trim level.

Dude, the car laterally had parking sensors in the front, I had to rewind to the beginning shots and you can clearly see them embedded in the bumper.

Why not review the GT, the badge on the doors are probably the coolest lil add-on on this car.
The GT is a nice spec! I just review what I can get my hands on.
