He has no idea what he is doing................ Needs to remove free hanging crossover and splice single pair of full range wires running to speaker back into the factory speaker wires from the radio.
good video . I never had kenwood before I was always a kicker fan . they should be in 1 09 2015 I hope they sound as good as those do . thanks for the video
if you took out the passive crossovers for those componets you could sell them for more then the kenwwoods cost ya, they look like the high end model and are repairable
Those crossovers needs to get removed. Because you hooked it up to the woofer output from the crossover you're not getting full range signal to your new coaxial speakers.
Buen video
Thanks for sharing this video. I just got my 2002 f150 and the driver side front speaker is either blown or torn. This should be an easy fix.
I've got to replace all 4 in my 02 standard cab...gonna go with 6x8 alpines with the stock head unit
Thank you for the video. This was way simpler than I imagined it would've been.

he said in the video 6x8
he said in the video 6x8
Yeah no crap, a normal person would just unplug the switches, no tools required and less chance of breaking the tabs.
That's a mess lol amateur wiring job before you dug into it
Yeah
love that song
The look on his face was like, "these sure do sound like shit. Where's the treble?" So did you ever remove the crossover and hook it up right?
