Thanks for the vid, very simple when you know how. I bought my 98 new and this is the 2nd set of speakers and the 3rd stereo. I bought it with a cassette player in dash factory equipment. My how technology has changed.
Gunna do the same soon, thanx for the tutorial. Always easier when you see someone else do it first.

did you do the rear drivers side? im deciding if i should do it, it looks intimidating since the door doesnt open

Definitely the hardest out of four speakers. It's the last one I have to do, that's why I'm here.

I know this is old but where did you get the adapter?
eBay has them, just look up “tenth gen f-150 speaker harness” on eBay or Amazon
They are 6x8 speaker i know becasue i put them on my f150 too
