Here is a little pro audio tip speakers shaped like the factor speaker you have is a 5.25 if the basket stamp is circled then you know the size is 6.5 the after market brackets is to convert the 5.25 into 6.5 that's the difference between the two ! I have a trailblazer LS my self and I love my trailblazer blazer. 😊 I already change the radio and did stuff too it still a working project ( car audio wise ) she's a old gal but she is faithful! 😊 P s I like your channel by far ! Keep on going 👍🏻💪🏻

I just bought a 04 Trailblazer and my rears are shot too.
I have some cheap 3 ways to put in but
Right now I need to replace my Starter first and replace the Drive belt.
Just did the Spark plugs.
And Cam sensor

Just a heads up before you take the door panel apart, you can pop the window button out with a screw driver while the door is still intact and disconnect the wire that way instead of taking off the door and then holding it up and putting your fingers in that small space

Just bought an old one for my son. I did not know but apparently only 1 speaker is working. I wish you had posted the complete replacement on all 4 as it appears that is what my weekend will taken up with. I am just concerned about whether the aftermarket 6.5 will mount up without any or much trouble and the debth clearance(front as back looks clear from vid)...
Thank you so much. I bought my 06 and the rear passenger side comes and goes but is only bass, the front drivers side worked fine until today. Now both fronts are mid only, and drivers rear never worked. So I'll just replace them all with a cheap aftermarkets.

Yep, they went all out in trailblazers...top quality...lol...it’s sad how poorly they built these poor trucks...it’s a joke. Mine gave me problems even with new kenwood speakers....it ended up being wiring and the radio being crap...the power to the factory stereo is ran weird so in order to put in an aftermarket stereo...u have to run a power wire from the fuse panel or pay the expensive amount for the adapter
And the frames.....left over steel from the titanic....

it is actually ok to take out the radio because the radio tells the car computer the vin number then unlocks the radio.
Pretty much. You might get a security warning also if you change radio's. Even if you swap the cluster the millage will change to the new cluster...weird how they did this.
I have no audio on 03 trailblazer ext 5.3. I have checked all fuses speakers aren't blown. I did have one speaker that had the negative wire not connected. I need music 🎶 again. It's been months 😪. Any suggestions?
Pro audio installation is your best option unless you can require everything yourself

I just ended up putting some aftermarket speakers in. I think they are Pioneer, not 100% sure. I figure it's better to do that then buy cheap factory speakers for the same price.

You don’t need those mount kicker 6.5 fit right in there I trashed the garbage head unit and put 400 watt double din it’s so much better sound
What if only the tweeters conected to the mid's are working?

Can't you just test the speaker with an 9 volt battery
Why would he test the speaker? He's testing to see if he's getting power to the speaker.
I'm guessing its because your rear radio is probably turned on

I have this same problem in my 03 trailblazer, did you end up buying all new 4 speakers??
