Great Video from a great place in our world ! Your great lakes adventures are really interesting and seem to be over with too soon ! I always wanted to go to that area of the lakes but I never made it ....Now thanks to you and Poppins I have had a quick look ! Thank you !
Super interesting story. He was mainly self educated. Goes to show all of us that your education should never end and does need some paper that said you spent a lot of money for some learning. I thought I had a big library. I guess not.
Crazy, I bicycled up the coast last week, from the Manitowoc Badger ferry, of Door County to Washington Island though did not go to Rock Island. Love your history lessons.
“This is why people collect rocks”. Sounds like Poppins would like to have more Rock walls in the new Studio/Creative place.
The furniture in the boathouse was amazing. Definitely a lost art.

A great video!!!! Did you guys camp atop the Jeep while you were there??
We did - at the Washington Island Campground. But, the air mattress developed a "hole". And we were slightly unhappy! 😂😂

Very cool! We returned on the Badger! We probably passed each other at some point!
Thanks for a great video. Have you considered doing either of the Manitous?
We have. . . But there are actually half a dozen "Manitou Islands" in the Great Lakes. I assume you are speaking of North and South on Lake Michigan?
@@RestlessVikingYes I am. Didn’t know there were other manitous. I learn something new with every one of your videos. Thanks!
💪💪💪🙏🙏👍👍👍
that song playing in side of the building. what is it?
"The Ballad of an Elder God" by Jakub Pietras
So this is Wisconsin??
Was anything mentioned about what happened to all the books in the library?
Sold to the University of Wisconsin.
We need some adventures on Puch mopeds. Any ideas 💡?
We do have ideas. . . indeed. But, it would require two Puchez, cause we're going on said adventures. You game?
@@RestlessViking when it comes to Puchs I'm always game! I know a guy near bahalla that can help
Lots of Finnish folks... aren't they vikings?
