@@jefferyrobertson7520 I also remember Joey Knuckles being crew chief when Davey first joined the Rainer/Lundy team in 1987. Robert bought the team after the 1988 season. And like I said, Larry joined the team in 1991.
It's funny the comment, "what's a payphone"? Just so happens one of my dad's businesses was payphones and up until about five to ten years ago he still had over a hundred payphones in service. Today i believe he might have 1 or 2. The free government cellphones pretty much finished off the payphone.
Love that guy, could listen to his stories all day. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you for this
They were a great combination 🙏🏁
Robert Yates Racing was such a fascinating team, especially the #28 team. Its sad that its all gone.
Was great hearing Mike, Larry, and DW in the booth at N. Wilkesboro All-Star race this past weekend.
Larry McReynolds changed our sport! He was phenomenal as a crew chief.
Did Larry win a championship ? Just wondering ?
@@bobhope4732 Nope.
He was a good crew chief but not for that long.
Funny about the Earnhardt fan flipping Davy off lol. Ernie Irvan was my favorite driver though for the #28. New font for 1994.

Thank you! Can we get Larry McClure remastered?
My goal is to eventually remaster all of the video with subpar audio.
