  • Hiseeu 4 HD camera NVR system review. I give this system 4 out 5 stars so far for ease of setup and stage vs. parts quality / value. Come with everything you to easy installation
    It sets up well and is preconfigure for most new users can walk thru step by step. It can go up to 8 IP base cameras (secure) local only WIFI network that work in a close Wi-Fi config. It is using none routable IP scopes and stages well
    The only issue that related to the system is the staging of the camera so you know they are working. it is a little hard to check them before staging them for use. Keep enjoying and the learning!

    I purchased the 4 cameras Hiseeu system and found it very easy to set up. The picture quality is excellent and the night time is outstanding. I am very pleased with this system, will comment again in 6 months. PS: I am 85 years old and not computer savvy.

    Just ordered this system to upgrade my wainsview cameras I bought back in 2029. The ones I had were nice but they were cloud based so you couldn’t go back farther than two days without paying a subscription. This system also allows for remote viewing from an app and also has a subscription option in the app but if you have the main DVR you should be set. This was an extremely easy system to setup and while my dvr had a bad hard drive out of the box I messaged the company and they are sending me a new drive. Thankfully I had a spare laptop 1TB drive I threw in and formatted until the new drive arrives. Only negatives I had were the included mouse was almost worse than useless but I had an extra wireless mouse I threw on it, the only other downside is with my old cameras anytime I got a alert I could delete the clip but from the app and the actual dvr I don’t see that option but notice it’s the same dvr interface I have at my job and I’m thinking it’s probably a security feature that you can’t delete clips without wiping the whole HDD and that makes sense for businesses and stuff

    Have you used the app for remote viewing? Would you recommend an app for remote view or utilizing the IP address? Also, if you plugged LAN cable, would it power the camera if ran to a switch?

      YEs my wife uses the remote monitoring software but you can use a couple of apps to do that if you like. As for the IP cameras are they POE (Power Over Ethernet) ? No they are normal AC power supplies but you could add POE IP camera if you want. It will do up to eight cameras.

      This is a good system to learn how to own something like this so yes I recommend this system to beginners for their homes. It can scale and simple to deploy if you have a good working kit. There is some worry about how fast support gets back to people but it was not bad for me. I have installed many IP based camera systems and as long as you can secure your cameras and your system, then you are good to with this type of home system.

    Good day. I know this is an older video but I had a question about something. I purchased this system a few months ago and returned it the next day. I wanted this as I didn't have internet or Wi-Fi and understood this would work without either. It did work however I ran into a resolution problem. No matter what I did the resolution was just not anywhere near 1080. As far as I could tell I put the correct resolution in and applied it or whatever it was I had to do to make sure it stayed at that level but I couldn't get it to be a very clear. Yes I didn't forget to remove the cover off the lens. A family member has the same system and theirs is crystal-clear I've even seen videos and pictures from him but he has Wi-Fi in the house. I'm wondering if the systems built-in Wi-Fi doesn't allow the picture to be as clear as if you had Wi-Fi in the house itself. I also didn't care for the lag between waving my arms in front of the camera and actually seeing them wave on my attached HDMI TV. Ultimately though the lack of good resolution is why I returned it. It was really that bad. I'm not trying to say the system is no good it probably is I just had bad luck with it. Any ideas? Also, I don't recall what frames-per-second were available but I seemed to think it was around 15 FPS. I have another system that has 30 frames per second which gives a very smooth video. Also, did you notice if there was a deactivation selection for the infrared for inside use such as in front of a window? Thanks for your informative video and I appreciate in advance any assistance with my questions.

      No I think your issue was that you didn't change the save type to the DVR recording side of things. Make sure you are recording at 1080 level in your player side of things. It may be set to 780 DPI and needs to be raise to 1080 but make sure you have a large HDD to handle the larger recordings. I bet that is your issue. the DVR has it own WiFi outside of your house internet WiFi. The internet WiFi is just for remote access if you want it. You can just hook up an HDMI monitor and mouse and keyboard and it works. Hope this helps some...

      @@leadiususa7394 thanks for the quick response. I really felt sure that I had set it correctly. I was thinking of ordering it again and double-checking beforehand with my family member to see where I might have missed it if I did. I'm seriously looking at reolink. Again, thanks for your response. A quick edit, I was speaking to live view not checking any recordings concerning the resolution just live view. Perhaps if I missed something it still had to be corrected on the DVR side even if I was just viewing it live. Thanks.

    Did the cameras show up on your monitor as soon as you plugged them in? I bought this and tested one camera before I put it up and it showed up on my monitor but then I mounted it and plugged it in and it wouldn't show up no matter what I did. Yea, it is a pain to set that up but I recommend that you do it. Get off the default PWs as soon as you can. First fully setup the system as is with the default setup. You have to go thru the N-DVR to setup the internal camera WiFi network to get to the place to change the password of the camera. "That is the painful part." If you are on a 192.168.1.1 network then access might not be easy to do. If you change your local router IP scope to something like 172.1. range then the sub WiFi network access is easier to get to because it also want to use the default IP scope of 192.168.1.0 range. that the hard part. Running the same none routerable scope on top of the same none routerable scope is not good. I change mine and it was easier to do. I hope this help and sorry for the slow response. /:> Enjoy!

    How much distance is covered between nvr and camera

    • @leadiususa7394
      @leadiususa7394  Рік тому

      It depends on the home or property. If you have a older house 75 years or older the range will be shorter due to the type of materials use to build the building 50 ft to 75 ft. (Plaster / Mortoring are really not good for this system do to all the metal wire meshing use in the walls. Best to use B-N-C camera DVR solution instead) New or newer homes can get up to 125 ft away or 150 Ft. 360 degrees radius... Hope this help some.

      Your hard drive may have failed or became disconnected. You need to power it off and check the connection then power it back up and use the Disk manager to check to see if you show a drive. They run for about three to five years if brand new if you put is a NAS level hard drive. If you just added a basic SATA PC system 5400 RPM base hard drive the life cycle could be less by a 1 to 2 years. I reparable my drives every three years just to be safe and I use NAS or a higher quality server level SATA drives.

      @leadiususa7394  2 роки тому

      It depends on your home. The age adn type of construction of the house can give you lots of range or very limited range. If you have older home that has plaster walls and wire meshed framing then go with BNC cabling only for no WIFI will work well in such a older home. Next make sure that you first place the main VDR unit in the center or close to center as possible of the house. This give you a balance range to all side of the home. Then you are good to power up the camera and check the range but moving it away from the DVR unit. BTW you can also change the antenna on the camera for a better one for more range / reach. Hope this helps you some! have fun doing this! Enjoy!
