- We've been living in our neighborhood for almost 30 years and so far there hasn't been any real issues with crimes or break-ins. But recently there have been several home break-ins not to far from our neighborhood. Most of the houses in our neighborhood do not have fences and it has been fairly safe and quiet, especially since the police department was relocated from downtown to within half a mile from our house.

We are not really big on home security although we used to have home monitoring and the entire house was wired for motion sensor & intrusion alarm but we didn't want to continue paying $30 a month for monitoring fees.
A friend of ours recently installed a complete wired security system with 8 cameras, a DVR and monitoring. They spend $3,000 on wired installation plus monthly fees for monitoring. Obviously we didn't want to pay that much.
We wanted a video surveillance system but we didn't want a wired system. We also didn't want to have to pay ongoing fees. We were aware that there are so many good systems being sold online especially on Amazon. However, we wanted a system that have the following features:
1) Wireless or at least Wi-Fi.
2) We wanted the video to be recorded and stored locally on a hard drive.
3) Ability to be connected to the internet and stored on the cloud but without monthly storage or access fee.
4) Cameras must have audio capabilities.
5) Cameras must have night vision, motion sensor detection, alarm email alert.
6) Cameras with HD Video of 1080p (1920x1080) and a wide angle
7) 24/7 continuous recording or an NVR (Network Video Recorder).
8) The cameras to be waterproof, rain & wind proof and withstand cold temperature during the winter.
9) A minimum of 8 channel, expandable if possible.
10) A true plug & play system which is easy to use.
11) A system which is backed by a solid product warranty and customer support.
We spent 2 days doing a research on the internet. We were excited to find that this Hiseeu system has all the features we want. Great job kiddo! Hearing particular words from your mouth, its very easy to see you have a future in tech. We are awaiting our system to arrive now. The reason we went with this system is because these new cameras (smart, server side, cloud based) have all kinds of privacy leaks in the end user agreements, selling of data etc. Heck look what just happened with ring service. Selling data without consumers knowledge, giving private data of no concern to the Fbi or Cia (Thats psychotic) . All these smart systems are going to come back and byte people in the ass, just watch. This on the other hand, i know how to secure so prying eyes will be kept to a much more minimal of risk factor. I have this system, I bought a power distribution box 16 channel to power the cameras because using 8 transformers was impractical. Works great. I recommend Hiseeu system. When you get it be sure to hook everything up to check to make sure it all works correctly. This was the best video I've seen for Hiseeu !
Jimmy Does each individual camera have a cord that goes to it or is it only one ?
@@drjohnsonhungwell5115 Each camera has a power wire that goes to the power distribution box, my system is 8 channel, the I bought is 16 channel, each channel in the box has a fuse so if there's a short in the wire or defective camera the fuse will blow. It was impossible for my to use 8 transformers that you would have to plug in for each camera being only 10 foot in length. Now that's the way my system is set so each camera is fuse protected. Now I thought about running one power wire but the problem is a short would disable the whole system and would be a nightmare to find the short, one camera shorts out the same thing, it would be like Christmas lights where one burns out and they quit working until you replace the bad bulb. I bought the box on Amazon $36 and 1K feet of wire 24/2 AWG off ebay $26. 200 Wire loom clips to string the wire from the rafters in the attic $ 10, Soldier iron and soldier $14, heat shrink kit from Amazon $14. I took the plug ends off all 8 trans and soldier and heat shinked them together so I wouldn't have to buy plug pigtails. On the box it is 12volt @ 20 amps, the calculation was 8×1 amp which each of my cameras draw 1 amp apiece. When how to determine the correct amp for the box it said your camera amperage + 80-85% more, I couldn't find the exact box so I went over but I find out the the may deliver 20 amps but the cameras will draw only what they need, think of your car battery its capable of 500-to 600 amps for starting yet your radio in the car takes less than 5 and is probably fused for 5-7 amps. So in all everything work like it was suppose too except my system, we adjusted for ever trying to get it dailed in and finally right before I was going to send it I did a hard reset and that worked, I can't explain that one but that's what we did and so far everything has worked flawlessly. The hardest thing for me was moving in the attic and working off a ladder, I'm not 35 yrs. old any more. If you have a son or grandkids that listen and are Spider monkeys your in business.

@@inevern8027 Wireless never satisfied me, it was freezing and delayed and the signal strength was never good unless the cameras were very close to the equipment. But here's what I did and I would gave it a 10 at of 10 rating, I put the wireless in the house watching 4 entry points and a hallway, installed 8 wired cameras and the system works flawlessly, I also installed a backup generator that's tri-fuel which i have on NG so were getting it done just need small solar grid to backup gen. and we might get the Brandon's remaining 3 yrs.

I have a question. You didn't discuss about how to run the wires back to your house for the cameras and if you need to buy long cables or not , Do the cameras all connect together in series as far a power supply ? and do you need to buy alot of cable footage? not really understanding that part how you will connect the cameras together when they are mounted around your house.

I have the same system I wonder if a drone lollipop antenna would work well with these cameras I know that certain antennas are better than others and the drone ones are actually very good the aftermarket ones are and you can do a video about it see if it affects the clarity or the range?
@Eyeonaimen sorry to ask but how do you connect the outside cameras? Do you drill a hole to fish the power supply of the camera ? Or do I have to hire an electrician to make outside power outlets thank you
This sure is great bang for the buck, only thing i wish is that we could access NVR settings remotely.

You explain a lot, well, I have a kit of 08 ip cameras, wireless NVR. I use the ap ip pro, I would like to know how to configure in the Nvr menu to listen to audio captained by the cameras.

How do you choose which camera goes to which monitor, we plugged in the cameras and the numbers are not in sequence so we have eight monitors on the screen but the cameras that are connected are numbered for monitor one three and five how do we set the cameras to one two and three?

Problem we're having is that we have a a very similar security camera set up as yours.... it's a 8 channel 1080p WiFi NVR but we want to have access to our cameras, viewing, and setting through our desktop pc but without having to install some wifi card in our pc.
We want a direct access to the nvr through the pc such as usb cable or something other than a wireless communication between our pc and the nvr system
If your system is stand alone type like mine you don't need the internet to view the cameras, mine is Hooked to the tv by HDMI but if I want to receive camera feed to my phone, tablet then i have to use an ethernet cable from the NVR to my router. You could use HDMi cable to PC and also you could use ethernet cable from NVR to PC but i be lieve the only way at least on my system to get a mobile feed is the NVR hooked to the router by ethernet cable. But i have been wrong before.
I am looking for something that has the cameras on their own battery and/or solar. I have no power source where I want to monitor for littering. I need something with a range of 500+ feet

Although I have setup a new password login, it still shows the admin alongside the new logging I made, how do you delete the admin login so I only have the new logging that I created. It does have the option to delete a logging, but it is grayed out so I can’t delete the default login, any idea ? Thanks

I have one of these systems, within a few months one of the infrared cameras got bored of working wich give them their due they replaced immediately but now the hard drive has failed
Do you have a video on how to change the order of the cameras that are already mounted? I want camera 1 to be displayed where camera 5 is and camera 4 and 6 to be next to each other. Can this be done and how?
You can adjust which box the cameras appear in by right clicking on the normal screen (with all the cameras) and clicking "Adjust Channel" and dragging the cameras to the box you want them to appear to! Cheers!

Hi I think my pvr layout might be a little different from yours because I was not able to drag the boxes to where I wanted them. However, when I clicked on Video Manage I just had to highlight the channel I wanted to move and use the up/down arrows on the left to the position I wanted. Ultimately your advice led me to the correct answer. Maybe this will help someone else. Thanks again

Installation of HDD should be very straightforward just like replacing any computer HDD but I will try to do a video on that, as well as how to configure NVR, during the next school break.

Great JOB, however I bought 2 units at same time and this company gives NO SUPPORT, password quit working. would not buy this brand again. I hope they read this and help me.

You might used the wrong power adapter, use the one appropiate for the nvr and not the camera one

Yes, it can record without internet, but you need connect it to the newwork so that you can view on Phone or PC.
