Thanks for the help. Ridiculous lousy instruction manual. Couldn't have gotten the system working without your video. The part where you skip the registration information on the mobile app was obviously omitted from the manual. Thumbs up.

Great review of these bad boys! My roommate really wants to up the security so I am researching various cameras, I sure want something with less wires (I'd go for battery operated cameras if I could but this set looks nice). Great overview of the product and installation process.

How do you hook up the spider for the cameras on a non wireless haimvision system
is there a way to change the internal IP address on the NVR they start with 172.20 but i wanna change it to 192.168
My issue is my camera is in the window pointing outside and the night vision is dark. So can you show the camera inside your window pointing outside at night. And what settings you used. Thank you.

I have this same Heimvision box, it goes off after working for some minutes and comes up later at will. What is the issue and how can it be corrected
So on the other cameras do they need to be plugin ? I'm not understanding how they work do they run on a batteies?

Hi do you know why one of the 4 cameras says no video?
How is the picture zoomed in? My system that I have now is very blurry. I can make out faces or license plates from 20 feet away
I have 4 outside cameras that were set up to connect with the DVR using WIFI. Recently one of the cameras dropped its connection to the DR and the monitor inside the house. I checked the connections and the camera and they seem to be fine. I do not now how I can check the WIFI connection for that particular camera! Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Every thing works fine as long as I hard wire the cameras but when I remove the wire the camera says connect failed but the cameras are in the same room as the dvr please help

Like you said the length from the adapter to the camera was probably 8 feet. So what if I want to install the cameras outside of my house? Is that long enough?
depends on how far the camera will be....from the box.
I can't get mine to hook up to my computer I'm not a very technology type of person so I have no idea what I'm doing I had the HDMI cord hooked up the internet cord hooked to my computer but the screen never popped up if you can help me please I would appreciate it
Thanks for the video. Is this system using the home's wifi bandwidth and therefore slowing other devices down if you are using it while at home? Or does the NVR act as a separate router to amplify the signal and separate the video traffic from traffic running on the home's router? Or am I just not understanding any of it - lol?
Thats a good question I think we might have to go too the next levell on our internet.
i really dont think it will impact bandwidth very much. think of playing online video games your pulling alot of signals into your console sending constant data. i dont think cameras send out much to impact anything else would be my guess

I am having trouble viewing my HM241 software. When I connect it to the TV, the initial welcome screen appears and then the image disappears, in a 4K TV it tells me to lower the resolution of the connected external equipment, in a 720p TV the image does not disappear and I cannot access the software, I was able to connect it using NETWORK LAN and the Mobile App but I have not been able to access the internal system of the NVR. You can help?
Tengo problemas para ver el software de mi HM241. Al conectarlo a la TV aparece la pantalla incial de bienvenida y luego desaparece la imagen, en un TV 4k me dice que baje la resolucion del equipo externo conectado, en un TV 720p no desaparece la imagen y no puedo acceder al software, pude conectarlo mediante RED LAN y la App del Movil pero no he podido acceder al sistema interno del NVR. Puedes Ayudarme?

It is me again. I am having a problem with one of the 4 cameras is failing to connect via WIFI. As I said in my previous message, I tested the camera indoors and it appears to be working fine. One it is outside, there is no connection. The supplier is a Chinese company although I acquired the system through Amazon. I tried contacting the company and asked them for assistance but I did not get a response from them. In your initial response you mentioned that the system could have assigned a different IP to the camera causing it to disconnect. How do I correct the IP connection? I really would appreciate any assistance you can provide me. Thank you.

it looks like thee same format as Yeskamo that I just sent back ...two of the cameras were malfunctioning .you would walk into one space of camera 1 and camera 2 would show detection and when you went into camera 2 space , camera 1 would be detected so you never got to see the real time of movement from each camera.

How do you add cameras from a different NVR to your new NVR? I had one that didn’t have a HDD and one of my cameras stopped working. So I bought a whole new system that included a HDD. The cameras that came with it connect automatically, but my cameras from the old NVR can’t be found with the new NVR.

The camera is wireless not wire free. You need to supply ac voltage to each camera. So you do need to run cords out to the trees.

Use blink XT2 cameras... I've installed those in trees for customers... make sure router is within 30 ft of camera or u might need to use a wifi extender...
can this work on a farm or location like in the hills if I have no WiFi network connection
WiFi is different than internet. You connect your WiFi to internet, but WiFi is separate from internet. Think of wifi as a carpool, and internet as going to work. You can get all your devices in the car, but you don't have to go to work.
In other words, you can buy a thirty dollar router and have wifi for this system without needing to worry about internet or signal or anything like that. The router creates its own signal and costs nothing per month.
@@razorsazors I think what he is saying Curtis is there is no internet out in those locations...thus no wi-fi.
You need internet 1st whether its cable or a satellite feed...then you can create a wi-fi hot spot.
In a city like Chicago there's hundreds of wi-fi hot spots but only because there's internet feeds everywhere.
So this does look like a system that would work without the wi-fi or router connection but of course you can not access it on the internet or phone...just the monitor
