Indeed promising for 1st gen, but the rear seat is inmho unusable for adults on longer drives due to the high floor, = legs at an uncomfortable angle. Due to the battery I guess.
@@JonasOrn Huh? I just drove one yesterday and the rear passenger floor is excellent, flat - plenty of room, no hump. The rear passenger area was a highlight.
We just ordered a Polestar 3 after being very happy owners of a Polestar 2 for 2 years. Hefty price tag for sure, but outshines the competition in terms of classy and clever design.
Man this is a lovely car. If I had the money to burn, I wouldn't buy any of it's rivals. The simplicity of the design tugs at my heart's strings. Simply beautiful ❤️
Very impressed with stats and design so far. Can't wait until it lands down under to have a closer look and consideration for purchase. It is number 1 on the EV list so far.
I'm guessing they chose to disconnect the rear because the front can be more efficient, as it is lacking the clutch system for torque vectoring. Whereas in the Polestar 4, it doesn't have true torque vectoring on any axle, so it disconnects the front motor in that one instead.
@@tobias_dahlberg actually according to Polestar web site information, it is actually the front motor which is disconnected. And that is good thing, then each axle has a task of their own.
Don’t the rear windows have defrosters?! Why are they all covered in snow?! (You aren’t supposed to drive a car unless your windows are cleared of snow/Ice first! Driving 101….)
over $100K for that small size...nah.. too much for me... i rather spent that money Model Y or Xpeng G6 or BYD Seal U for half of the price and i can add more if i wanna upgrade the spec. And If i want the luxurious then i go Nio EC7! But.... I wont see Nio, Xpeng coming down to Australia any sooner until 2025 later?!

What a peace of art!
Already orderd mine. Black also. Great super car!

I seriously envy you. Hope it gives you the satisfaction and joy it promises 😊
Same here but Magnesium with Jupiter Nappa Leather seats. Really looks amazing and can't wait for it to arrive.

Great design. Great looking car. Polestar has a great line up of vehicles going forward. PSNY stock is the most undervalued EV stock IMHO.
Beautiful car! Nice review.

Polestars I've seen on the road give off a classy vibe. All their drivers said they loved their Polestar....i asked them
MY WORD !!!!! This colour is absolutely stunning ...... I'm definitely in.
@2:19 So the rear glass isn't heated ? Developed in Sweden ? Hmmm.
Yes it has, and the side mirrors are heated :)
Looks like either there is no rear-window defroster or, if there is one, it doesn’t work …
Hi, are you sure that in motor way cuising just rear drive is disconnected?
