... and theee BEST customer service and after sale services a busy wood worker can only dream of is a humble standard thing at SawStop. With a bit of care that machine will last a couple of generations in Linn's family.

    Nice upgrade to the shop!
I noticed that you set up the saw with the outfeed facing the entrance. Small detail perhaps, but maybe consider turning it around for those times when you may want to take things like plywood straight from the truck to to the saw. With the infeed side facing the entrance you can do that a lot easier without having to carry it around the saw to start cutting.

Very nice, congratulations on the upgrade, you're going to love it. I added something to my saw that I think you would appreciate. It's the JessUm Clear- Cut TS Stock Guides. You install these guides on the fence and they keep the material moving towards the fence at all times when your cutting. Especially useful on larger cuts, big safety helper! And, I found that I don't have anymore burn marks from the blade. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new saw and keep making great content!

Congrats!. I worked using a job site saw for almost twenty years. I had a running joke when we would buy things, I had a currency equivalent in table saws. I haven't seen a SS pimped out like yours. Wow! You won't regret purchasing all of the options on the saw especially the 220 V upgrade. You will be duly impressed by the performance. It has been sooo much fun watching your journey in your woodworking evolution, Linn! You have a shop now that many long-time woodworkers, even some commercial operations, will be envious of (myself included!). You've come a long way! BTW... keep your smaller SS! You won't regret it as long as you have the real estate in your shop to support it. I have a SS Contractor saw and I also have a Dewalt portable saw. I use both of them about equally. Your excitement shows! Can't wait to see some more great vids on future projects, Linn! Congrats on your great new addition! Bryan

Yeah once you unveil that cast iron and shine it up, you'll get a smile inside every single time you see it. And every time you listen to that quiet, smooth whistle of a quality induction motor, you'll never want to go back. I love finding reasons to use my saw in a way that wasn't exactly there when I had jobsite saws. Congratulations to you and enjoy it for possibly the rest of your life.

We used a pair of Bessey clamps with the soft top and bottom to set up the wings so that they were perfectly flush with the surface of the saw table.
After snugging, a soft blow hammer was used to set back to front with front flush and back not quite.
