I come back to this vid regularly. Really helpful as I am getting into tying too - love the patterns and your explanations of where you would use them, potential tying modifications etc.
Your dry fly selection arrived today complete with hand written note. Thanks so much, the flies are truly superbly tied and presented. Good to support you guys. Thanks also for the very informative and fun videos. Have a great season you two!
Having fished within these flies on the Dove, Avon, and Test I can say they are nothing short of magnificent. Great value for money that will increase your catch rate. thanks for the great content.
I really enjoyed this video as you do such a good job explaining what the flies are for and how they work. Interestingly you do not have my #1 fish catching fly of all time - the Frenchie euro Nymph (in all it's many variants). Also no stonefly pattern - another of my mainstays. As for the dry flies you can catch on a Caddis or BWO for pretty much the whole season and your pack has definitely got that covered. The two fly patterns that don't get used that much, but you don't want to caught without are the March Brown and Green Drake. The Green Drake I may only use a couple of times a year, but those are the days I remember!
Hi guys, great flys! I would like to have box of each, unfortunately it show out of stock. Do you guys have couple of boxes hiding somewhere for me? Please 🙏
I am lucky to know and have been schooled by some of the best fly tiers in the Country and this selection of nymphs and dries will suit all the UK rivers, there will be some subtle differences due to regional traits but I would happily fish these flies all year, although I would call a "Sparkle Gnat" a "Griffiths Gnat" and maybe a "Ducks Dun" as a generic Olive pattern, otherwise spot on.
Do youi ship worldwide if not I would love to help you guys out. From a tier to another. Am freinds with world class tiers. Such as Paul, Stephen from Wales , i was great freinds with Lawrence finny of Ireland, and the list goes on.
Thanks For Watching Folks!
