    I sold an Olive piece and now I see how beautiful it looks like turned out.. Now I have no real idea how I want to turn it.. I don't want to waste that really nice wood.. You turned again a really beautiful piece Doug! I love it so much!

    Even with the cracks and other problems, it still is a pretty piece. Almost looks like a futuristic brandy snifter, lol. Thanks for perservering and finishing the piece!

    This was a true test of your patience and ability to recover from "issues"! I never considered the air issue in the makers discs. Stabilizing them was a really good idea. Neat looking piece in the end.

      Thank You Bob, yeah I've had the problem before and normally use an acetone thinned resin, it takes longer to set up and lets the air out, I did not have time for that, now worries they are all Stabilized now !

    It turned out beautifully!! When something goes wrong, SOMETIMES it teaches us something. Myself, it bugs me, so sometimes I have to wait awhile to figure out the lessons. 😆 😆 😆

    Aww man! Downright heartbreaking when you showed the damage. Dang nice recovery though. I admire your perseverance! I've sent pieces tumbling across the yard for less.

    Doug I’m sorry your project gotten broken . I think it’s still beautiful, all beauty has imperfections.
    I know it’s frustrating when you make something so beautiful and put all that hard work an time into it an it gets broken.
    You never give up and you always follow threw that’s two things I admire/respect about you.
    I love you videos of what you put into them. No one is a mix master as you are .

    Great recovery and you can see the potentials available. good eye for the outcom. I wanted to hate the pink and teal, but it turned out surprisingly, for me, quite nice. I'm still a natural coloring kind of guy.

    I like that you use “shine juice”. I’m tired of everyone else finishing their project someth the Berkshire paste which doesn’t leave a good shine, just a matte type, but yours... love it

    I am so sorry your piece broke but you did a fantastic job of fixing it. I knew when you started the piece something happened cause of the way you were standing. You were kinda bouncing side to side. I do the same thing. Glad it was minor but it surprised me with what happened. Carry on, you always have it under control. Stay healthy.

      BTW], epoxy is less brittle than polyester resins. They tend to turn yellow with time, some brands more than others, but if mixed with colors and tints it doesn't show as much. Just fyi.
