For the first like 20-30 minutes I was worried because it was looking and feeling like the MCU house style. But then Raimi kicked down the door with his crash zooms and I was very happy. Pleasantly surprised at how Raimi they allowed Raimi to be.
I didn’t care much for the film, but I did enjoy each time a horror film wanted to emerge to the surface, those were the moments where you could see Raimi’s steady and stylish hand guiding the film and that was a pleasant surprise at least, as always good video!
I like rami, but there are a lot of inconsistencies. Wanda was super overpowered whilst fighting the illuminati, yet weak as shit fighting America. I know she was distracted by her family in the last half of the fight, but if she can insta kill Reed Richards and Black Bolt, you'd think shed be able to subdue someone as weak as America with ease. Not to mention the fact that americas first performance was really boring. Her beating wanda at the end didn't feel earned. She spent the whole movie being nothing and then beats wanda just because strange says she can. Also, why can't wanda just have her own kids? I'm glad Rami is back, but there were more serious issues with this movie than I think you addressed, and just saying that the only reason people dislike it is because of not enough cameos isn't true. I disagree with you on this one, but I still love the content dawg. Keep it up! :)
I think Wanda underestimated Chavez and was blindsided for a bit, unless somehow Chavez with control of her powers is more powerful than the Illuminati.
@@BadGruRising Chavez is much older than a toddler though and she's probably much more powerful than she looks but still way below Wanda's level, unless the MCU boost her up in power level to the point that she can do better than the Illuminati against Wanda.
@@muhammedraashid3667 Strange was the hero, sure, but the entire plot revolved around Wanda and SHE was the one that ended evrything in the end. Doctor Strange only really had a love interest sub-plot.
@@muhammedraashid3667 the movie wasnt even about him. Litterly any of the major through lines had very little to do with him. The only thing the film even that even personally related to him was the whole "am I happy?" thing which they didnt really focus or explore very much. The movie gets better if you see it kinda like civil war where you drop captain america from the title. The movie itself was alright but I was kind of expecting something a bit deeper. Wish they explored america Chavez more since they wanted to introduce her in this movie. You can say they are saving her storylines for a show or something but that's no excuse for giving her like 1 scene where we learn anything about her. Apparently she's supposed to be lesbian but the film (I dont think) even told us that. I dont think the film outright sucked on the whole but the title felt a bit misleading since the film didnt feel like it was a personal story about him. Which is fine but that wasnt what I was expecting. It was fine probably one of those mcu movies I'll only watch once. Maybe my hopes were too high, when they said there was going to be horror elements and sam raimi would be involved it seemed that this was going to be very different movie which it was for sure but I dont think the execution was great. For the most part no way home and the batman set bar pretty high for superhero movies. I get the sense that since thor is going to feature thor, jane, the guardians, valkyrie and christian bale (whichever character he is) that he probably isnt going to be the main focus so I'll go in with adjusted expectations. Fingers crossed it'll be good🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
I personally believe this is by far the worst marvel movie ever made. Instead of setting the foundation for future marvel movies, all we got was strange fighting Wanda just because she wanted to be with her kids. All this movie did was set us up for another doctor strange. The only thing I enjoyed was seeing mister fantastic. On top of that the way Wanda was able to kill professer x was just ridiculous.

7:44 that Jesus Camp clip was perfectly placed
😁😁

Yeah the horror moments are what made it for me. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, story problems are totally fair criticisms. Definitely tried to make that clear. I'm just here for Raimi weirdness tho lol. Thanks for watching!

I think everyone that went into the movie theater wanting to see some Raimi direction just had a great time. Even with the kinda half baked script 😅
Expected a good Doctor Strange movie, got a bad Scarlet Witch movie instead.
No
The protag was Strange.
So, It was a Dr.Strange movie.

@@muhammedraashid3667 Since it was less focused on than Wanda's, I'd say yeah.
Stellar content as always
Appreciate it!
Treating Marvel films as if they should be some kind of art? Eww...

@@ItsGregKon yeah but when you have the multiverse in the title it’s kinda the point
