Thanks for a smokin reaction BG! 💥 And dude, these guys are wild… talk about different 👍 Big Dirty Loops fan here, and from what I know: Jonah has been playing the piano all his life, classical at first, later on jazz, and is a great fan of prog music such as Pat Metheny Group, jazz pianists, but also classical, especially the romantic classical style of writing and playing. Check out some Rachmaninov piano concerto, and you’ll find this to be virtually what Jonah is playing here -stupendously virtuosic music… He’s also been singing from age one, in his parent’s choirs at first, and fairly late coming to the lead singing thing. His vocal range is crazy, his control too. Always grabs you, emotionally. Go down the DLoops rabbit hole a bit, and you’ll find more examples of his amazing vocals and keys playing, plus the two other band members, Henrik (bass) and Aron (drums) insane skills. They are a super band, in my eyes for sure. And as someone else, commenting on their video, says: ‘Dirty Loops asks the brave question: “wtf is a genre?” Best comment 😉 “Work 💩Out” might be a great one for you to check out next. Enjoy! 👍
You should definitely check out some more Dirty Loops - they are great at giving each other their time to shine (even more) in different songs. And though you never know what you're going to get - it's going to be awesome! I agree with fiddlestix - check out "Work shit out" next for a wild drum solo (and amazing piano) - or if you want to be amazed by Jonahs vocal skills try "Hit me" or "Breakdown" (or "Next to you" with Jonah doing all the choir voices). For Henrik with nice and very different bass solos "World on fire" or "Follow the light"...

This peice is awesome, and everyone seems to really love it. Nice!
10 out of 10, indeed (but what do I know?)!
Seems to me that you know a fair bit, Ingmar 😉👍

💯%agreed 👍
Thanks for the reaction, do check out "Run Away" or anything from their awesome catalogue
If you think this is crazy listen to their song Run Away
No samples. Wrong. Maybe some parts are sampled/inspired from Sergej Rachmaninov. Check out the movie "Shine". Jonahs first instrument is piano.
By sample i ment a hip hop section not a literal sample, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Either way, this was spectacular!
