My confusions with WoW timeline is the following: - If we are the Prime Timeline, what is Draenor, and how does our interaction with it influence our timeline. - Are we still on the Prime Timeline? Chromie changed everything when she stopped Nozdormu from turning into Moruzond. We might be on a different path Theory: I think the Prime Timeline was always meant to keep the Harbinger at bay. Chromie changed that when she reverted time and allowed Xal’atath to acquire the dark heart. The whole reason the Titans will be coming back is because Chromie steered us away from the Titans plans and now they need to come and clean up the mess Edit after watching: your theory is pretty sound yet I hope they don’t resort to such a cheap story beat as “I am you from another universe” 😅
I think the old gods aren't linked to their other timelines counterparts as much as the old gods exist outside of time itself, which is why they know what happens in each timeline.
i think xalatath = alleria would be very weird and confusing to understand for an average player and devs are aware of it so this just won''t be a thing no matter what
The Dark (aka Great) Portal has introduced quantum uncertainty to the Golden Timeline. It’s a space/time machine, so it’s entirely possible that one Alleria, who travelled with the Sons of Lothar, was killed by Turalyon but, infused by the Void, did not die. As Garrosh Hellscream famously said: “Times change.”
Alleria shown the Turalyon “vision” not as a possible future or past, but to deeply mess with her mind and plant seeds of doubt and anger within her If Xal fills Alleria with negative energy and fully pushes her into a void state, perhaps she wants to usurp Allerias power and make her a vessel, or maybe she’s trying to create serious distrust in Alleria making it easier for Alleria to turn on the ones she loves (the powerful beings like Anduin and Turalyon) making Xals plans easier to accomplish
Interesting theory about Aleria becoming Xal'atath and maybe its true, but i kind of hope it itsn't because then we are just kind of repeating the same thrope we had with Nozdrormu becoming Murozond but then again Blizzard is known for repeating events and just changing out actors in it
Friendly reminder that Y'rel did nothing wrong. Alleria and Xalatath being the same person just doesnt make sense to me, I think shes just being groomed in the same way the spider queen was.
So I do understand your theory here and I agree but what constantly bugs me about this theory is why didn’t the old gods do the same thing with their other timeline selves?
Messing with timelines in whatever story, book, movie, series, game, etc to me is so uninspiring. It shows to me that you don't have a good story left to tell so we keep using the main characters in different timelines. Most of the time the stories are getting messed up and overly complicated. And nothing has consequences anymore, because we can fix everything in whatever timeline and bring into the "main" timeline. To me it's very lazy story telling.
It wouldn't surprise me if Xal'atath is the soul from the planet sargaras cleaved in the lore.
i cant get enough timeline, time trvel, multiverse stuff. More please!

Acco, you just described the plot of Goku Black from Dragon Ball Super. I don't think that's the direction we're going.
No rip-off is exempt from Blizzard Entertainment, lol.

At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming
the reason I love this theory is because it allows for lightforged Garrosh. Garrosh Lightscream
Author M R Forbes absolutely loves the alternate-but-staggered timelines. Allows for all sorts of shenanigan's while also not stepping on itself

So she’s basically like if Rick absorbed all the Ricks in all the timelines lol

Wasn't yrel executing any maghar orcs that wouldn't choose to follow the light in alternate draenor?
what if every titan is the same person NORGANON!!!
