- On this video I'm showing how to install a ProCharger kit on your 2016 - 2018 Camaro SS/1LE. I do wanna say that even though there was a delay on my ProCharger unit, Jegs and ProCharger worked really quickly together to make sure I was up and running as soon as possible! Thank you so much for this video, I'll be getting a kit soon I'll use this for reference! I'm a little worried about tuning since my car already has some bolt ons and was custom tuned.
Your better off getting it retuned by a local shop with your setup brother and glad the video helps!

Thanks for the support brother! And I would say this kit has better airflow but only bad thing is that it looks like it gets alot of hot air due to it being so close to the engine but it has not given me any issues although the filter does get really dirty really fast lol

Nice! I believe it's just for the pvc system ive seen people just block it off but I wanted to just follow the manuel from pro charger as much as I could but in the manuel it does also say it's an option to do.
@@SUPSGARAGE Gotcha, thanks for info. Also, have you noticed if you get a "whoosh" sound when letting off the gas under high rev? I have the procharger race bypass valve and as far as I can tell, it's basically silent on my car. Your bypass valve is significantly different than mine.
@submergedindirt I upgraded mine since this video lol I could not help it was $400 🤦♂️ a bit expensive but was worth the louder woosh!! it's the black BULLET BYPASS/ANTI-SURGE VALVE
Did you install wideband oxygen sensor gauge . Fuel pressure gauge or a boost pressure gauge ? Recommend on prochager installation guide . I just bought the same kit you did thanks for the video. Amazing job

Thanks brother! and I was gonna go with a top blower as well but I feel like you get more power with the pro chargers. And their stock tune was at around 556hp if I remember correctly which to me was not bad. I'll be posting a review on it pretty soon with the retune video (you can see it on my SHORTS video for now)

For the entire pully kit (meaning everything you need) it's going to be part # number 3GYDR-001
if you need the parts individually
- Hex bolts that hold the cam lobes (you need 6ea) Part # BO05CI-020-1
- Crank Bolt Part # DC017A-001
- Crank pully washer PART # DC017I-002
- Cam lobes (you need 6ea) PART # DC033I-002
- Crank Pulley PART # DC034A-014
- Washers for cam lobes (you need 6ea) Part # WA05I-12-1SS

Did you open the motor and upgrade pistons or heads... or did you just throw the pro charger on. Thinking of buying a kit but don't know if I need to upgrade internals first
no need to upgrade internals brother this kit works on bone stock engines
When you need to change the air filter you have to drill the whole in the new one every time?
if you buy a new one yes but the kit comes with a k&n already so you can clean and reuse
Can the stock pistons on the LT1 handle the bolt on pro charger long term?
yes Sir as long as you use the pully that procharger sends you
Is this the one? They say on the website that I need to remove the radiators in the bottom corners of the bumper and re route the oil line. Did you do that?
No, this does not sound like the same kit brother. I did not have to touch anything oil related that I can remember and only had to re route the left side small radiator (not the big main one in the middle).

I was wondering, when you first started it up, the supercharger sounded like it something was grinding. Did it ever quiet down?.
There are 2 different gear options when buying one brother Helical gear set and straight cut gear set (which are noisier but cheaper, which is what I got) At first I was hesitant on getting the louder one but now that I have it I actually like it better. In the end I ended up liking it more due to being able to hear the procharger while I'm at stop Lights lol Also If I remember correctly it's $800 cheaper if you get the straight cut gears 😊
Yeah it sounds like a box of rocks😂. But it's normal. I have a Procharger with helical gears. The whine isn't as loud and the blow off valve sounds awesome.
Don't heat the bold up since the crank seal is right behind and made of plastic!!

Not yet, just has a basic tune from gro procharger for now brother
@@SUPSGARAGE look forward to see results when you do, I was thinking of going this route or keep it simple and go with 1 7/8 full length headers, MSD atomic airforce intake, 103mm tb, and JLT 5" intake... I have a 2016 2SS camaro
@@CamaroWarrior sounds like a great set up but I believe you will get the best bang for your buck if you go with a C8 corvette intake manifold. Same power if not more and ALOT cheaper.
Did you add any fueling to it?
you mean like upgrading the injectors?
I can do this on my LT1 model 2023 camaro too?

the whole kit came with it brother it could be cuz I added the stage 2 intercooler
@@SUPSGARAGE Do you happen to have the parts breakout sheet? I have the stage 2 also but mine came with the one piece plastic piece. I reached out to brute speed and Bob Beam and he doesn't have what you have. I would really appreciate it. I would imagine it would say 3.75 inch 90 degree and maybe 4 inch 45 plastic elbow
