Me too on that, and was that simply water that you bathed the pits in after nipping the end off??
I just planted 16 cherry seeds and they look like a totally different plant lol.

Excellent 🎉🎉🎉 I subscribed to your channel 🙏
Nice music
Thanks 😊
What is the sand you planted the seed in?
Can you take a cutting from an established cherry tree with unripe fruit on it? Great time lapse btw 😊
Both tart and sweet cherries can be propagated by semi-hardwood and hardwood cuttings. Semi-hardwood cuttings are taken from the tree in the summer when the wood is still slightly soft and partially mature. Hardwood cuttings are taken during the dormant season when the wood is hard and mature.
First, fill a 6 inch (15 cm.) clay or plastic pot with a mix of half perlite and half sphagnum peat moss. Water the potting mix until it is uniformly moist.
Select a branch on the cherry that has leaves and two to four leaf nodes, and preferably one that is under five years of age. Cuttings taken from older trees should be taken from the youngest branches. Using sharp, sterile pruning shears cut off a 4 to 8 inch (10 to 20 cm.) section of the tree at a horizontal angle.
Strip any leaves from the bottom 2/3 of the cutting. Dip the end of the cutting into rooting hormone. Make a hole in the rooting medium with your finger. Insert the cut end of the cutting into the hole and tamp down the rooting medium around it. Either place a plastic bag over the container or cut the bottom out of a milk jug and place it over the top of the pot. Keep the cutting in a sunny area with a temperature of at least 65 degrees F. (18 C.). Keep the medium moist, misting it twice a day with a spray bottle. Remove the bag or milk jug from the cutting after two to three months and check the cutting to see if it has rooted. Tug the cutting lightly. If you feel resistance, continue to grow until the roots fill the container. When the roots have encompassed the pot, transfer the cutting to a gallon (3-4 L.) container filled with potting soil. Gradually acclimate the new cherry tree to outdoor temperatures and sunlight by placing it in the shade during the day for a week or so before transplanting it. Select a site to transplant the cherry in full sun with well-draining soil. Dig the hole twice as wide as the tree but no deeper. Remove the cherry tree from the container; support the trunk with one hand. Lift the tree by the root ball and place it into the prepared hole. Fill in the sides with dirt and lightly over the top of the root ball. Water to remove any air pockets and then continue to fill in around the tree until the root ball is covered and the soil level meets ground level.
Yes, but you should remove the fruit so that the tree can put its energy into growing roots
Better use air layering
Nice video. I’m trining now your way. But I have 3 important questions.
During the first 40 days how often do you water the soil?.
You comment you keep them in a corner during the germinate time, do we need to keep them without sun light?.
You keep the seeds at room temperature, could you give a reference room temperature?, because I can have the seeds in the garage at 80 F, in the kitchen at 70 F, or in the basement at 60 F.
Thanks. One of my seeds groups already open this week.
I was my kitchen group at 70 F.
Fantastic video

Xcellent
Thank you
Mantap keren👍👍👍
I wish I was as successful as you regarding this... 😔
Good luck
Did you keep the seeds cold for the first two or three months until they have germinated?
At the end:
no..... don’t go!
I think you used cinnamon instead of soil. Am I right?
Very beautiful video👍
My seeds are in the fridge now waiting for them to pop the layer of shell off then I will plant 🌱 ty!
Good Luck
You started something in me I’m now doing almonds cherrys & I’m working on the peach 🍑 pit! 🤗 thank you a bunch 🥰😍
Thank you, didn’t know that it take 40 plus days to germinate
♥️
At what temperatures should it be in order to grow?
No cold stratification needed?
What happened to the smaller one? Never seemed to grow from first leaf stage
Please make a time lapse video on dates plant too
Ok
Ill try this different method of scarifying hope it works
good luck

ok
What were you using besides the dirt in the pot?
I just put some in a wet paper towel and some directly in dirt… we’ll see. My sand wasn’t like this so I didn’t think it would work
❤
❤
Is it just sand you are using?
Want to see 5 year lapse.
Me too!!
Can you tell us which cuentry do you live? and can we do the same process (jerminating the cherry seeds) here in Sri Lanka?
Sir how long it will take time to fruiting?
About 4 years i think. I have one in my garden, 5 years old, its about 4 meters in height.
We have to keep pot in sun or shade till seeds germinate???
what type of soil did you use?
Nutrient soil
@@shigwtimelapse6738 Thx
Anyone from ekayanna school
Brilliant! Thank you for sharing.
😊
Kis month ma cherry ka beej lugta ha
Can rooting hormone be used on the seeds to Kickstart it?
yes
But they don't need it as you are imitating the way the seeds would lie on the soil overwinter before they germinate. Putting the container in the fridge is the best place. If the hormone compound worked, it might encourage too rapid growth that is weaker.
how long did you speak the seeds in water?
What kind of dirt was used in germination process?
What water use when seedling
What soil mix did u used from the germination?I wanna try this at home .You think cherries can survive in the Philippines? Thanks
Nutrient soil, you can have a try
Hi, what type of soil os that? How often do i have to water the seeds after i put them in that soil before they germinate
Nutrient soil Once every 4-5 days
What is mixed into the cup with the seeds?
sand
I thing this is not real
@@tapangyosung37 What's not real? They just need to be kept slightly damp in a cold place (the fridge is best) to imitate the way they'd lie on the soil overwinter and germinate in the spring.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏👍
Which month show we sow? (From India)
So... How much Time it takes to turn into a tree?
What is the powder that you are using to grow the seeds? Thank you
I guess its sand
Good question know answer..
Strawberry plant put video
cherry trees won't grow or live in most zones. I learned that the hard way.
How long does it take to bloom??
Pretty sure i had lots of these in my garden & pulled them out cus i thought they were weeds.😐
♥️
Ty. Do you have any time lapse videos on pomegranates? Ty
How long did you put the seeds on the water?
one night
Yeh Kahan se milenge
slow growth indeed
Can u pl.tell.me sir what is the time period yo get full grown and fruits
From seedling to a grown tree usually takes 5-7 years to bare fruits.
Cool video, but absolutely no explanation.
👍
Are u using sand? No coment
yes
Which month plz
October
How to buy this soil
Just sand for the initial germination and good quality compost for growing on.
What is the name of this soil plz
Nutrient soil
Toy don't need to cover it. They need to breath.
Did you put the seeds in the fridge to stratify for 40days?
No Just Room temperature
I put maple seeds in the fridge but failed
Trees grew on this planet without human help. he is just following natures cycle of growth.. His only extra help he did with the seed, was to remove the pit. This gives him the 40 to 70 days of the tree sprouting up faster. Other wise the hard pit will add on a extra 120 days, if you keep water moisture correct. The video's you see with using a frigerated unit, is not nessesary but also adds speed to growth. " but has to many extra Loops to jump through" You can soak any dried large seeds in a glass of water for 1 to 3hours.. This will give you a fast jump on growth speed. places light soil over them/with damp conditions, and watch earths miracle happen under your controlled system. I have even done this in a large potted plant box... I do it this way, because my transplantation success is bad. Larger pots you need to insure most of all the soil is damp, not wet. " root rot happens faster in large pots with young plants" Large pots can compact dirt/soil due to top weight causing water to pool"
They work well if you do though as many cherry varieties grow naturally where it is cold in the winter, and they will stay at the right level of slightly damp better at the cooler temperatures. Also, 'room temperature' is a very subjective description as some people's houses are a lot warmer than others whereas a fridge is fairly constant.
Where did you store them?
To germinate
they said just store them in room temp
Indoor corner
It grows too slow
Oooooooooooo
