Correction: It was a MOUNTAIN of evidence
1)How come he didn't recognize the voices of his attackers?
    2) Why wear the noose an hour after the attack? Inconsistent with victim behavior..He was playing with it, almost petting it during police interview.
3)The rope was a loose knot in surveillance vid after the 'attack' when he was going back to his apartment, but on police bodycam footage, it became a noose that was tighter and closer around his neck suggesting that he adjusted the rope himself
4)Phone records indicate he spoke to the brothers an hour before the attack
5)No where in the brothers' testimony did it ever come up that one of them was having a sexual relationship with Jussie...Jussie alleged during his testimony that such a relationship existed to justify a lover's revenge plot as the motive for the attack.
6)The brothers' testimony in excruciating detail: how Jussie wanted them to use gasoline but they decided that bleach was safer. How Jussie told them to hold back on their punches and not hit the face.
7)His medical records and doctor's testimony prove that he was not at all damaged in the attack. Just a scratch on his face.
8)His reason for going out at 2am in the frigid cold: to buy food at Subway and get some eggs. It was the coldest night in winter.
9)His refusal to hand over DNA and his cellphone and his failure to cooperate with Chicago police.
10)Circling the block in his vehicle with the brothers 3 times just 1 day before the attack. They testified that it was to show them a dry run of the attack. It was caught on surveillance camera. Jussie explained they were going for a workout together but prosecutors pointed out that at no point in the video did they go to the gym. Only circling the same spot where where attack happened.
    11) His messages on Instagram of him wanting to meet up with the brothers "on the low" days before the attack. Jussie explained it was for a special Nigerian herb/drug that only the brothers could provide. When questioned as to the name of it or its description, he didn't know.
12)The fact that he said the attackers said, "This is MAGA country!" & Chicago is a city that 84% voted for Hilary. He also identified the attackers as white originally, then pale skin in another interview, then in his national tv interview he said, "attackers" with no description. Even with the police image of the attackers, he still couldn't determine that they were his attackers.
    13) Jussie said that the brothers were homophobic that's why they attacked him...yet their close friendship indicated otherwise.
    14) All of the details the brothers gave were spot on, extremely consistent and matched police findings. Meanwhile, Jessie's testimony contradicted the evidence of both.
    15) He initially claimed he didn't know the brothers but after police arrested them and they were in custody, he changed his story.
    16) The Chicago police worked hard for 3 weeks, coming at this case from every angle and would come to same conclusion every time: there was no attack. Their testimony was very compelling on the stand and they had no motive to implicate Jussie even as strange as his story sounded.
    17) The brothers testified that when they placed the noose, they missed his neck due to the quick, frantic nature of the attack. Lo and behold Jussie is seen walking back with it to his apartment around his neck.
18)All police officers testified that Jussie was pissed and particularly upset when they revealed that the attack was not captured on the surveillance camera. This matched the testimony of the brothers who said that Jussie wanted it to be on camera so it'll be plastered all over social media.
    19) The police testified that he didn't seem scared, angry, hurt or upset right after the attack. Just calm and nonchalant while recalling the details.
    20) Chicago police said that what initally raised suspicions is that after this struggle and attack, Jussie made sure to bring back his Subway order to his residence. Typically in cases where people are ambushed and attacked, they leave everything at the scene to just try and get away
    21) Upon evidence, he was forced to admit that he contacted the brothers the night before the attack, but he insisted it was to arrange a workout training session for the following morning. The prosecutor argued that if that was true, then why weren't there any further communication/text/calls to cancel/enquire about the planned session from either parties.
22)He gave testimony that the two brothers threatened to tell everyone that the crime was a hoax and that he was the mastermind UNLESS he paid them $1m each. When crossed examined by the prosecution as for proof of this correspondence, he admitted that they didn't reach out to him personally but to his team.
23)The brothers testified that Jussie gave them $3500 a day before to carry out the fake attack (the check was submitted as evidence) and a further $100 to buy the rope, masks, and supplies for the hoax. Surveillance footage of the brothers buying the items confirmed their account and timeline.
    24) The overwhelming amount of coincidences: That the brothers who lived a far distance away took an Uber randomly to that part of the city and just happen to be at the same location and time as Jussie (2am). He claimed that going to Subway was spontaneous yet they happened to catch him outside in the freezing weather with the rope and bleach ready as if they knew he would be there. He was attacked at the same place that he was caught on surveillance the day before, driving the brothers around in circles to show them a dry run of the attack. His attackers happened to be friends that he knew and worked with personally. Coincidentally, he didn't have any injuries from the attack nor did he recognize their voices.
