According to Wikipedia, this song is only on the Japanese Deluxe version of the album. So it isn't truly the last song on the album. That song is officially Please Come For Me.
Love the song. Great riff and melody. The Serenity of Suffering sounds like it was about Jons wife based on the lyrics.
A suggestion: You should compare the first track of the first album with THE FIRST TRACK of the last album. Otherwise, you're comparing songs that play different roles. The first track tend to be fast and focused on the catchiness, while most of the times the last track is not representative of the rest of the album, being slow, instrumental or experimental
Totally. First song has to grab you by the balls. Last song is goodbye for now. Daddy, while a great song, doesn't grab you like Blind does. It gets you in a different way that leaves you gobsmacked by the end, and it's followed by silence to let it sink in. But, it's not a single. It's not a fair comparison to Blind.
Yeah they should travel two months back in time and reshoot all of this and scrap everything they recorded.
@@SirRunk666 someone was unusually triggered.
@@SirRunk666 At this point they already must run out of their pre recorded videos
Wasn't this a Japanese bonus track so technically not officially final track on album?
That’s interesting, because melodically it sounds like something that would come from a Japanese band.
Well shit. I just posted a comment about this exact thing.
@@flightgravity7483 you're right. That is actually interesting. This song sounds a lot like one from the GazettE, a Japanese rock band. Especially some of their stuff from the mid 2000s.
So many better songs on this album. Black is the soul, the hating....
"The Hating" has the best bridge/ending on the album.
weird that the last song sounds like a filler track
19ThreeLions97 Out of you isn’t on the album. It is a bonus track on the japanese edit.
You guys are one of the best reactors
This wasn’t even on the record lol this is a Japanese released only song. Should’ve done Please Come for Me.
I know man & i even looked it up n listened to it so when i saw this title i had to look it up
After the Burial - Lost in the Static🙏🏽
Greg Fidelman is doing the newest Slipknot record. He’s done some fantastic work.
Ross was rumored but it wasn’t true.
GG ALLIN is iconic
*was
His music was also crap, not worth listening to.
@@sopwithsnoopy8779 as bad as his music was it was still better than this nu-metal shit
@@gonzo93041 That's an opinion, not a fact mate
Jon's also just recently lost his wife to drugs as well so it just makes this song even more sad if it is about her.
Mein Herz Brennt by Rammstein. Badass song you should react to!
I was expecting "Please Come for Me". Bonus songs are rarely good, they are more like "B sides".
That is quite true, I have only heard five albums where I actually loved the bonus track songs
Please react to Adema - Giving in. Great Nu Metal and the lead singer is Jonathon Davis half-brother. Thanks!
Everyone
Or codependent
Appreciate this reaction, KoRn usually puts extra love on ending tracks... Daddy, My Gift To You, Dirty, on and on... love it, keep it goin.
Ogre4u Out of you isn’t an ending track if you meant it that way.
“Some corn ball dude who’s soft” lmfao that was some funny S right there 🤣🤣
Rob Zombie. Started with White Zombie in 1985ish and went solo early to mid 90s and is still making albums. One of the most iconic singers/lyricist in the metal scene. There are not many bands who have been around since the mid 80s that are still releasing heavy music and touring with crazy live shows. PLEASE Review ROB ZOMBIE.
I've never heard this song before. Huh? how did I not know this song was out?
korn always takes the first place
love song love koRn 🔥🤘♥️
The real Batushka just released a new album and its incredible. You guys should do a full listen to that.
@@karljonson3287 one listen to Батюшка - Панихида and you should know who the real Batushka is. The former vocalist is trying to steal the band away from the rightful founder and heir, Krysztof.
Please do an entire Album Reaction/Review for Serenity of Suffering
Oh yea, the actual last track on Serenity of Suffering is ‘Please Come For Me’
Tool - Intolerance or Sweat to tool - invincible
Cradle of filth-serpent tongue!! It's indeed a dark song
What made you guys come up with your UA-cam names? I see you guys selling shoes on Facebook.
korn another brick in the wall, pt. 1, 2, 3
hmmm "some songs really kind a want you to go piss off" I recommended "Good God", "Y'all want a single", "Break Some Off", "Right Now" ;) \m/
GG ALLIN reaction
They don't want their channel taken down
You should call it
FIRST TO LAST - A METAL JOURNEY
Bonus track
This isn't the "last song" on this record. It's more of a b side extra song, I didn't even know this existed.
Clown by KoЯn
That song blows chunks, KoЯn is garbage. lmao
BEFORE AND AFTER WEEK!
skyforest - autumnal embrace
Call it Front to Back Discography week
plz react more to korn songs or love and death
One Minute Silence- Rise and shine
British nu metal you've probably never heard before!
Hmm, just a thought, but hear me out. Albums are often structured in a way to take the listener on a journey. Opening songs tend to be more in your face, while the closing tracks tend to elicit introspective emotions or a conclusion to the emotive journey the music took you through.
Thus, the song choice (*IMO) should be the first song of the first album and the first song of the latest album.
>>> EDIT I haven't listened to this song yet, so my opinion may be moot.
Especially if it's.. *cough cough* (Gets back to lyrics) They cleeeaarly didn't wanna talk about that one. I'm sorry for whoever you guys know or knew who went through that. I.f.y. @VinAnd Sori
Moonspell - Night Eternal
Honestly love korn than any other band (don't get me wrong, there are a shit ton of band's put their that put sick ass shit!) Korn's new stuff was a whole different turn and look for more new creative sound. Love them.
Would love to see a reaction to korn- what we do
or
Korn- holding all these lies
This was day one of Darwin/Retro week which means there’s six bands left. Let me guess,
Iron Maiden
Slayer
Pantera( this would be a good one power metal to heavy metal)
Slipknot
Guns N’ Roses
Tool
Those would be good. Don't know if they can do Slipknot though since they've already done (sic).
GP Movies good point. Slipknot might not be in there then.
Power Trip - Divine Apprehension
Power Trip - Hornet’s Nest
Power Trip - Crucifixation
The quest goes on...
K wow im slippin i like it never heard this well listened before
They've definitely changed their sound over the years; they sound less dirty and more ethereal now. For nostalgia's sake, I will always prefer their original sound, but that doesn't mean that I think their new sound is bad; it's just different.
I, for one, love Jonathan's growth as vocalist.
I am surprised you guys haven't considered something from Head's band, Love & Death. Any song is good.
Gojiraaaaaaa - Of blood and salt
then and now
7:30 well technically, lords of summer is the real last song from Metallica's recent record.
"Factory 81 - Cheese Weel""
Great Band! Sadley never got realy popular.
Korn - All alone I break, would be awesome to review
where's maiden? :(
Do iron maiden next, your reactions to prowler and empire of the clouds would be something amazing :)
Yeah very different tracks. And it's about time they do some Di'Anno Maiden too
Mew - she came home for Christmas
React to (Bitten Apple) ~ Brother Ali. Vin would definitely enjoy his music
glass prison - dream theater please :D
Привет, понравилась ваша реакция и вы тоже, Korn моя любимая группа, hello from Ukraine)))
faith no more next
*In This Moment - Burn*
You can always use the vh1 now and then or in your case then and now
And Sori you said it all about Korn in the last years"it's kinda umh...."
please react to the videoclip of ''Do the evolution" by pearl jam.
Try to check Sabaton - Midway. Like your Sabaton reviews and comments.
GG ALLIN live video must be reviewed
Please, do Iron Maiden this week! First song first album-Prowler (with paul dianno, the singer on their first two albums) Last song, last album-Empire of the Clouds (an 18 minute epic masterpiece)
if your looking for something new, you could react to a band called Basilica, theyre a local band where i live and have 2 ep’s released, not long either theyre both worth listening to extremely good 🍻
Zeta-causeway
Such a powerful track and video
Never heard this song before. Apparently its only on the Japanese version of the album. Please come for me is the last song on every other version.
some parts were surprisingly heavy
I can see why this song was only released as a bonus track in Japan. Its not bad, I like it, but it defiantly sounds like it would do better there
Halo by Soil. One of my favourite live songs from Nu Metal era.
Coal Chamber- Loco...please😁
React to something from Love & Death! Head's band.
since i enjoy Your discussions and tangents from the thoughts you get after watching the songs, you might want to consider watching the song "no bullets fly". a good Version can be found at ua-cam.com/video/x02g4-XT_VU/v-deo.html by piscator. it tells the story of the time when an american b-17 bomber was saved by a german fighter ace. the story became known when the american pilot managed to track Down his savior in 1990, and the Meeting was filmed and is in fact on youtube. both men passed away in 2008 within months of each other as well. both calling the other a Brother.
How can you claim Korn is your favorite band and have only listened to two tracks on their latest record (that came out nearly 3 years ago)?
Old fans tend to stick to the 90s/early 2000s stuff. Maybe that's why. Such a shame they shun the new stuff, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
FAITH NO MORE came before Korn and is one of there influences
This song is most likely about Jonathan Davis' wife who recently died of a drug overdose.
Ray is a phenomenal drummer no question there .........BUT ..........David brought a dynamic that was KORN. Either Ray adjusts more or that KORN sound/feel is gone forever .
Guns N' Roses: Don't Cry, Rocket Queen, It's So Easy or Coma.
Helstar: Winds of War
Still solid. Clean vocals. Great cd.
Compare the first Stain CD with Mudshovel vs the new stuff..no comparison. .there is a progression that doesn't lend itself to repeated listening. Grasping at straws.. the last song on a CD is typically not the best. This song falls flat..too predictable. But still good. The first 4 songs on this CD are brilliant.
I wonder, why you did not include SNOT on your Nu Metal week ... You should try Mr Brett or Snooze Botton ... = )
This song isn't on serenity of suffering! The last song is please come for me
Anthrax - Deathrider vs Anthrax - Zero Tolerance
Slayer - Evil Has No Boundaries vs Slayer - Pride in Prejudice
Helloween - Ride the Sky vs Helloween - Free World
VARATHRON - Remnants Of The Dark Testament (Official Music Video)
DO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!
It´s got a little Marilyn Manson vibe to it in the part before the chorus.
angra - angels and demons
I would say that Davids drumming was a big part in making Korns first albums very unique. Ray is a great drummer. But he doesnt have the same weird groove.
Vin, Sori. Please do the first song of the first CD and the FIRST SONG of the newest CD. Not the LAST SONG!!
they never divorced
Hi Vin and Sori :) React to Pânico by Project46 please
React to there song call me to soon is from the same record it’s just a bad ass song 🤘🏽🤘🏽
You should compare the first song of an album with another one that is the first song. Why?
These songs tend to be catchy for new listeners.
For example, comparing Blind and Insane.
Septicflesh-the vampire from Nazareth please
Not gonna lie, the actual last song on The serenity of suffering Please come for me is a much better song than this
You should react to rotting in vain - korn
Do a Psychostick song! I'd rather it not be Beer, but it's their most famous...
Anaal Nathrakh - Forward!
Yo digo que korn son los numeros 1 en el nu metal
Should be 1st single compared to latest single...not last track of album...anyway...KORN is the best!!
Ok but would never be my first choice!
