Hello. My name is Iza, i'm the daughter of the owner of the Martinšek restaurant, which you visited in your video. I wanted to share that my mother’s restaurant is not the most popular in Ljubljana, mainly because we are a bit tucked away and not in the most visible spot for tourists. It is a modest, traditional eatery, open mainly for lunch and midday meals. Still, for 30 years, we have been blessed with the return of both familiar and new faces, which we are truly grateful for. I believe that your video brightened my mother’s day, especially during these challenging times, as we still feel the impact of the Cov** period. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your sincere comments. We hope you’ll visit us again if you return to our beautiful country. Thank you on behalf of my mother, Nives, and the entire team at our restaurant Martinšek. Iza❤
Hi Iza! Thank you so much for this comment - this made my day. The restaurant is incredible and I enjoyed every bite of food there - thank you for such warm hospitality and I hope to visit again soon!
6:00 carot, parsley root, parsnip and onjon. ( onjon is cut in half and roasted on one side on the stove for better flavor(burned onjon on 1 side gives that earthyy flavor)).
Dude, you’ve got the food vlogging down. You’re a natural. If you go to more traveled areas your subscriptions will explode. Great job as always. (Wish you’d eat more vegetables, I’m a vegetarian)
The church bells going nuts while you're eating your breakfast was quite unfortunate 😂 as a native your pronunciation of Ljubljana is really damn good I have to say edit: Last meal I wouldn't really call traditional but it is popular here for sure. Next time I would suggest going to a good restaurant for some Kranjska klobasa, ajdovi žganci, kislo zelje and kislo mleko. To translate it would be Carniola sausage, buckwheat spoonbread, sour cabbage and sour milk. The most iconic meal you can have here in my humble opinion.

1:20 I think that is "shtrudel" (shtrudla) not dumpling.
Are you stupid? Don't comment if you don't know what štruklji is.
It is dumpling. Bolied in water.
Štrudel is baken.
Moji stuklji, is not dumplings, thats completely 2 different things
