I was born and live in Ljubljana 24 years already and I am SO aware how lucky 🍀 I am to be here! Every time I walk throught it, I get happy just by how beautiful Ljubljana is. ❤️ Thank you for this lovely review, I am glad you liked it, too!! Also - next time, you should definitely try hazelnut aromatised coffee in Cafetino, my favourite coffee shop ever! 😇
Thank you! Definitely one of my favourite cities I have ever visited. I will definitely give Cafetino a try next time, thank you for the recommendation 😊
Just imagine living in a rural city or country, where you are able to make your own krajnska klobasa or ask your mum or grandma to make you prekmurska gibanica or any other form pitica. This is life.👌
Slovenia have so many beautiful places. Nature is well preserved.....traditional food is apsolute wow, with fair prices. Wines...are spetial story People are good...open and honest. Beautifull country in all....tailored for people. All the best from Cr🌞atia..... 🍀
You kind of have to be careful where you go to eat though. I'm Slovenian and I feel a lot of the restaurants are pretty basic generic restaurant food. The ones with limited choices tend to be the best.
Burek olimpija ! Nothing better . Not only they keep prices affordable, they also give away bunch of bureks to those who can not afford it . Ampazing place ran by amazing people . The "šefe" is absolute legend.
You are soooo funny, how you enjoyed our every day food. I hope you had a chance to meet some locals, couse food we make at home, made from home garden fresh vegetables and meet and cheese from neighbours farm is even better. Moms štruklji, bograč and ričet, you shurely tried some of my favourites. But there is plenty to explore.👍
I'm moving to ljubljana next month, thanks for the coffee recommendation edit: fun fact about hiša figovec, it's not constantly packed because of the food, it's just an extremely famous tourist spot since it's the place where Slovenia's biggest poet and author of the slovenian anthem frequently got drunk (he was a drunkard as tortured artists as well as slavs in general tend to be)
Thank you for the insight, that’s very interesting. I thought the food was incredible, I still dream of the struklji. Definitely check out the coffee! Thanks for watching

Prekmurske gibanica for breakfast? That's a very good start of the day. 👍 Next time try pizza burek, and find a place that sells dödöli (potatoes and wheat dumplings). And definitely try one of the potica's: poppy seed roll (makova potica), walnut roll (orehova potica), and tarragon ricotta roll (pehtranova potica).

tip for reading words when in slavic country: "C" is always pronounced "C" ([ts]), never "K"
