Dude - Prizren is Albanian town founded by the Albanians 3,000 years ago and was within the Ottoman Empire for centuries - but so was the most of the Balkans. Everything you see in Prizren was built by the Albanians who converted to Islam and still today majority of the Albanians in Prizren are muslims. That beautiful Sinan Pasha Mosque was built by Sofi Sinan Pasha from 1600-1608 and he was full blooded ALBANIAN lord. All those bridges are Albanian built by the Albanians themselves with their money in a architectural style of what we think of today as the Ottoman architecture but that does not make them Ottoman but Albanian. Everything you see in Prizren is well preserved & restored by the Albanians. So ... please stop giving a endless credit to the Ottomans. Albanians were Ottomans during the Ottoman Empire but now they are still Albanians within the Albanian Republic of Kosova.

BG was bombed in 1999 for the same reason like Berlin was in 1945, to make the agressors finaly stop with the war(s) of former Yugoslavia which their president Milosevic started in 1991, first in Slovenia, then much harder in Croatia then horrific bombings of Sarajevo in Bosnia and finaly war in Kosovo. I am sad for all who lost lives in the so called Nato bombings, but it was nothing compared with the horrors which Serbian militant politicians spread around the neighbouring countries in the years before. My wish would be that the people learned a valuble lesson, such as the Germans did sadly also thru bombarding their cities, but listnening to the Serbian leading polititians today I think "fashism" is still very much alive there :/
