For anyone looking for a note, at the end clip, his snare is tuned to a C# ;)
Thanks man that helps.alot 🤘🥁🥁🙂👍
You get a good feeling when you receive a notification from KRIMH , the legend.
Thank you for these videos krimh! I can now play the imperial march on my toms!!
It's a pleasure to see you doing your thing, man
Sick snare sound 💪🏻
I tightened up my bottom head on my snare and it sounded amazing. Huge help in stopping the snares resonating when other drums are being hit or when the guitar is playing. I would recommend having a slightly tighter bottom head compared to the batter head
Nice snare sound. You had way more snare sound that I would usually go for but once it was miked up it sounded killer. I'm gonna try that.
You are the best!!!! 🤘🏻❤
Last tutorial?!? What about "How to tune your cymbals"? :C
I'd watch it lol
What skins do you use on your cymbals? :D and do you trigger them?
8-| ........ >8-[
@@acupofcoffee693 cymbal triggering is more frequent that you think
@@hazardeur imagine Nicko McBrain triggering his cymblas lol
Report of the week is a pretty awesome drummer!
Professional 💪🏻💪🏻🏆🚀
Thanks for those videos ! 👍🏻
Thats awesome dude!! you rock :D
Hello, Krimh! Thank you for the great videos! I wanted to thank you especially for this one because I have been reading conflicting information about snare tuning. I was following the advice of some people that said everything must be cranked just up until the point of choking. When I tried that, there was very little tone and it sounded lifeless and thin. I agree with you that you lose fatness that way. So... for those drummers that like a high pitched, cutting tone, it's better to use a smaller diameter snare like a 12" or even a 10" tuned medium or medium-high. That's my opinion, of course!
Damn, I want MY name laser etched onto my bass drum pedals. Thanks, KRIMH, sounds great.
Nice Video 👍🏻🤘🏻
Лучший барабанщик в мире! Ты мой кумир брат!!!!!
I like that ghost note
Great video, can you show us - what's your processing settings EQ, Compression, Reverb.. ?
Very cool!! What is the second song in the background?
I don't even play drums, let alone own drums. And yet I'm sitting here, watching a 12 minute video about how to tune a snare drum.
Krimh sure is a legend!
Cool🥁🎶🎶🎶
What music or song is playing the background. It's very nice.
Thank you
Verry nice,,!!! In fact i used this way for tunning my own snare.!!! About other thing!!! Can you tell me where can i command find or ordering you,re ( Serial Drummer) shorts!!! they are Wicked..and i whant it if possible,,,Thanks for all in Advance,,,thrully you,,,Alain,,
You can go a bit higher on the wires. For some types of music I like the wires to the point they would choke even with the slightest turn. Then back of a tiny bit. Nice Video!
i can say
he's definitely fan of the Brand Meinl
its called endorsement
Hai Krimh, why CS not give nicely rebound on the center dot?
You should make a video playing Bleed
Anyone knows which mic he's using for the snare drum? Sounds very natural. astounding video anyway!
Pretty sure it's a beta57. I think it's interesting he's not pointing it at the head at all but rather has it parallel to the head. This probably helps with the more natural and open sound, because less proximity effect from the head. (Totally guessing, and assuming it's the only mic we hear)
What about the number of wires? Do 42 wires gives more bass/fat sound?
And what about the thickness of the resonant head?
Hey whatsup krimh! Do you tune the snare and the other drums after a while playing? I guess they stretch after time playing and loose the sound you tuned them to.
Yes i check the tuning from time to time, especially with new heads.
How about a video about how to clean/when to clean/when to get new cymbals???
jesus christ. clean when dirty. use cymbal cleaner fluid which you can buy in any music store. get new cymbals when old is broken or you want another sound. and don't forget to breathe air when you want to continue to live
@@hazardeur Sorry, i thought i asked Krimh, not you.
(not a drummer) but the electric drill thing got me thinking... Why don't more drummers use torque keys? Wouldn't that be a quicker and more accurate way to tune your heads once you figured out the tension per head?
Evans makes a torque key. I use it. It's great but more of a guideline. Tension at the rim and tension at the center are usually different so you so have to "fine tune"
@@shahfacekillah thanks for the info :)
I just switched from remo use since 2008 to evans
Love evans, remo is a really cool thing if you're still learning for example or like to hit hard as they seemed to be a good bit more durable than evans (ofc depending on price and series and so on). Evans give you a more "precise" sound and more "clear" sound , in my opinion. Remo has a more bushy and thick sound to it like the old death metal bands on their toms.
Just personal experience, not to be taken as law. It depends on how one uses, tunes and utilises the skins :)
Is that a Meinl drum key?
Rob King yes ;)
Machst du mal ein Deutsches Video?
What if you wanna tune your snare but you’re deaf?
I literally was watching pewdiepie playing minecraft and came to watch this
YOU SHOULD FEEL HONORED KRIMH
I’m such A moron when I bought a new snare I didn’t think I could use the string that came with it ,so I went and bought the clear plastic strip....
