കുറച്ചു നാൾ മുമ്പ് ഒരാൾ എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞു പാപകർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമാണ് ഗുരുതര രോഗങ്ങളായി ആവിർഭവിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന്. കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ജനിതകരോഗങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാവുന്നത് ഏതു കർമ്മഫലം കൊണ്ടാണ് എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അതൊരുപക്ഷേ മുജ്ജന്മ പാപങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമാകാം എന്നാണ് ടിയാൻ പറഞ്ഞത്. ഒരു സെമറ്റിക് മതവിശ്വാസിയോട് ഇതേ ചോദ്യം ചോദിച്ചാൽ മുജ്ജന്മത്തിൽ അവർക്ക് വിശ്വാസം ഇല്ലാത്തത് കൊണ്ട് പറയാൻ സാധ്യത ഉള്ള ഉത്തരം മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമാകാം കുട്ടി അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതെന്നോ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ ദൈവം പരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതോ ആകാം എന്നാണ്. ആയതിനാൽ രോഗാവസ്ഥയോട് സമരസപ്പെട്ട് ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വാസം അർപ്പിച്ചു പശ്ചാത്തപിച്ചു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു ജീവിച്ചു പോകാൻ ആയിരിക്കും ഒരു കടുത്ത വിശ്വാസി തീരുമാനിക്കുക.
ഈയടുത്തു കുട്ടികൾ ഉണ്ടാവാത്തതിന് ഒരു ദമ്പതി പറഞ്ഞതും അത് അറിയാതെ ചെയ്ത പാപകർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായിരിക്കും എന്നാണ്. IVF ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ച് ആലോചിച്ചുകൂടെ എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അത് ദൈവത്തിന് നിരക്കാത്ത unnatural പ്രവർത്തിയാകും എന്നും ആത്മഗതം നടത്തി.
ജനിതകരോഗങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാവാനുള്ള കാരണങ്ങൾ സയൻസ് പഠിച്ചവർ മനസിലാക്കുന്നു. അത് കർമ്മഫലം കൊണ്ടല്ല എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നതോട് കൂടി ആ അവസ്ഥയെ മറികടക്കാൻ ഉള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യൻ ചെയ്യും. CRISPR CAS9 എന്ന technology വരുന്നതോടു കൂടി വലിയ കുതിച്ചുചാട്ടം ആണ് genetics മേഖലയിൽ നടക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത്. അത് എന്താണ് എന്നാണ് ഈ വീഡിയോയിലൂടെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.

But unfortunately the introduction was not making any sense. the ppl to whom u talk with not necessary have enough knowledge what religion teaches. I'm a Christian believer ,as per bible -child born with any kind of genetic conditions is not a result of their parents sins. John 9:2-4 Regarding IVF, the process of IVF has a stage where Drs eliminate embryos that have poor quality or to reduce risk which is same as abortion. It is a artificial selective procedure .
with all respect I would say it is always better study the religion first to it's hard core then talk about the wrong concepts . This kind of introduction where u guys picks layman concepts and labelling it as religious teachings are poor strategy for propelling atheism . I do respect your efforts to create scientific thinking which is necessary for our society. But when making arguments about church's teaching I would say more efforts required. Otherwise it is going to be a silly superficial technique to get applause from audience.
@@marychristykoothur5416 The majority of believers whatever their religion may be, practice a form of diluted religion, not preferring to practice it when they get hurt. I’m happy to note that you belong to that group. But there is an illogical minority who actually practices the teachings of religion and sacrifices their own life and the lives of others. The first instance that I saw the death of a woman because of religious beliefs was when I was at college. She was the wife of the owner of a juice stall that we used to frequent. When she fell ill they refused to take her to a doctor, instead prayed and eventually she died. Did they have remorse for not taking her to the hospital? No, because they didn’t violate anything what religion taught them. It can be claimed that this happened because of wrong interpretation of texts but we need to understand that “real religion” is the one which priests who propagate (they don’t violate the texts) and the followers follow.
Dr Jose Chacko Periyapuram had mentioned about the case of a girl Nayomi, whose parents were believers of Jehovah’s witnesses. I will comment about the post I wrote about it as a separate comment.
As a Christian believer, tell me what has been taught in Church about the following:
1. LGBTQ rights- Are they any different from heterosexual people? Do they have the same rights as heterosexual people? Can two gay people marry?

@@marychristykoothur5416 ഫ്ലവർസ് ടീവിയിലെ ഒരു കോടി എന്ന ക്വിസ് പരിപാടിയുടെ episode-153 യാദൃശ്ചികമായി കാണാനിടയായി. അതിഥി ആയി വന്നത് കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ ഹൃദയം മാറ്റി വയ്ക്കൽ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തിയ ഡോ ജോസ് ചാക്കോ പെരിയപ്പുറം ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഇത് വരെ 26 ഹൃദയങ്ങൾ മാറ്റി വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ഇതിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പരാമർശിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സംഭവം നയോമി എന്ന 7 വയസ്സുകാരി കുട്ടിയുടെ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയെ കുറിച്ചാണ് (Time in video from 20:50 to 25:30). യഹോവയുടെ സാക്ഷികൾ (Jehovah’s witnesses) എന്ന കടുത്ത മതവിശ്വാസികൾ ആണ് നയോമിയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ. ബൈബിളിലെ പഴയ നിയമത്തിലെ ചില വരികൾ വ്യാഖ്യാനിച്ചു എടുത്ത്, അത് പോലെ പിന്തുടരുന്ന ഇവരുടെ വിശ്വാസം പ്രകാരം രക്തം കൊടുക്കണോ സ്വീകരിക്കാനോ പാടുള്ളതല്ല. എന്തെന്നാൽ ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കാനും എടുക്കാനും ഉള്ള അവകാശം മനുഷ്യർക്ക് ഇല്ല. രക്തം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കുന്നതിന് തുല്യമായിട്ടാണ് ഈ വിശ്വാസികൾ പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത് (Genesis 9:4, Leviticus 17:12-14, Acts 15:29, Acts 21:25). അപകടത്തിൽ പെട്ട് രക്തം വാർന്ന് മരിക്കാൻ പോയാലും രക്തം സ്വീകരിക്കില്ല എന്ന് വൃതമെടുത്ത വിശ്വാസികൾ ആണ് യഹോവയുടെ സാക്ഷികൾ. പൊതുവേ ഡോക്ടർമാർ യഹോവയുടെ സാക്ഷികളെ ഒഴിവാക്കുകയാണ് പതിവ്. കാരണം ഇവരുടെ വിഡ്ഢിത്ത വിശ്വാസം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു സർജറി ചെയ്തു രോഗിക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും സംഭവിച്ചാൽ gross medical negligence ആയിട്ടാണ് ആ നടപടി പരിഗണിക്കപ്പെടുക.
രക്തം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ആണെങ്കിൽ പ്രഷറിനും ഷുഗറിനും സ്റ്റാറ്റിനുകൾ തുടങ്ങി ഏതു മരുന്ന് കൊടുക്കുന്നതും ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ആണ്. ഏതൊരു മത പുസ്തകവും അന്നത്തെ കാലത്തിന്റെ അറിവിന്റെ പരിമിതികളിൽ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ട് എഴുതപെട്ട ഗോത്ര സാഹിത്യം മാത്രം ആണ്. ലോകം എങ്ങനെ പുരോഗമിച്ചു മാറി മറിയും എന്ന് ഒരു പ്രവാചകനും ധാരണ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. യാതൊരു പരിഷ്കരണവും നടത്താതെ നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾ പഴയ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതി വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് അതേ പടി ഒരു യുക്തിയും ഇല്ലാതെ ഈ ആധുനിക കാലത്തും പകർത്താൻ അസാമാന്യ ഗോത്രകാല മത ബോധം വേണം.
ഏതായാലും ഡോ ജോസിന്റെ ഇറ്റലിക്കാരൻ ആയ സുഹൃത്ത് ഇത്തരം അന്ധവിശ്വാസികളുടെ കേസുകൾ handle ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള ആൾ ആണ്. അയാളിൽ നിന്നും വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ചു ഡോ ജോസ് നയോമിയിൽ blood transfusion ഇല്ലാതെ surgery നടത്തി. ശസ്ത്രക്രിയക്കിടയിൽ cardiac arrest complications ഉണ്ടായി. Hemoglobin level 4 വരെ താണു. എന്തായാലും നയോമി അതിജീവിച്ചു. നയോമി അതിജീവിച്ചത് കൊണ്ട് ഡോക്ടർക്ക് ഈ സംഭവം അന്തസ്സായി നിന്ന് പറയാൻ സാധിച്ചു. കുട്ടി മരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഡോക്ടർ എന്ത് പറയുമായിരുന്നു? എന്തായാലും surgery complicated ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിലും കുട്ടിയെ രക്ഷപെടുത്തിയതിന്റെ whole credit ദൈവത്തിന് കിട്ടി. സ്വാഭാവികം!!!
ഇനി കുട്ടി മരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ആ കടുത്ത അന്ധവിശ്വാസികൾ ആയ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ വിചാരിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത; കുട്ടിയെ ദൈവം നേരത്തെ അങ്ങ് വിളിച്ചു എന്നായിരിക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് അവർ വളരെ സമാധാനമായി ജീവിതം തുടരും. വലിയ complication ഇല്ലാതെ ചെയ്യേണ്ട surgery ഇത്ര complicated ആക്കിയത് ഈ അന്ധ വിശ്വാസം ആണ്. കുഞ്ഞിനെ അപകടപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന തരത്തിൽ പെരുമാറിയ ഈ മാതാപിതാക്കളും അവരുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലെ വിശ്വാസികളും കുറ്റക്കാർ ആണ്

I do like to mention that your way of presentation is much delightful. Not wrapped in any sort of scorn as some of the ppl does. I belong to Catholic denomination. I'm not an authorized person for church still I will try to explain the questions you raised as per my limited knowledge.

Catholic Church doesn't compel anybody to follow things blindly. Church provides logical explanation for the teachings they provide in layman terms through Catechism of Catholic church. It is unfortunate that many of its teachings has been mispronounced . I believe it as a natural course of action when too many people judges one thing . In the modern world we do have opportunities to seek the truth still people judge a religion through the mouths. Is it the fault of religious teachings or the ppl?
Empowering people is necessary as it required in all ages. Modern medicine is here still ppl are following quacks. Whose fault is that. ?
Being said that I do say that there should be nonjudgmental forums like were ppl can ask their doubts and get clarified. which is unfortunately against some unwritten norms in our society . It must be followed in all groups whether it is inside religion or atheism or politics or whatever. So that dilution of teachings can be eliminated to an extent.
I don't follow jenovah witness or any teachings that says seeking medical care /blood transfusion is a sin. I am a health care worker so I can't justify any of those practices.
