What I like the most the trailer is, after that mind-blowing head twist scare at the end of the first movie's trailer, this one's ending builds up to a similar jumpscare but nothing happens 😅
I hope that there will be another step and that the first part will remain simple. I hope that in this second part we will learn about this entity, where it came from, and what its exact story is, like the movie Alien
For you to be "infected" by the smiling entity, you have to be traumatized after witnessing the previous person's death. But what if I'm a psychopath and not traumatized/desensitised to death? Will I also be "infected"?
So you're saying I need to be soo unhinged so that the demon won't infect me,in fact I'm the one who'll give trauma to the infected person. lol Just won!
Part 1 scared me with all my heart for this life. The smiling scene in the dark kitchen gave me goosebumps. No movie in my life has ever scared me as much as this one.

@@PuccaDomi_Happy I watched the first SMILE on Amazon Prime Video. Yeah, it was pretty freaky. Mostly the ending. I was introduced to Naomi Scott through the film "Lemonade Mouth". And of course, we've seen Naomi in the last "Charlie's Angels" movie.
This has been the most creative horror movie franchise we’ve had since insidious in terms of ideas. Can't wait for this!
Naomi Scott is gonna be just so fantastic in Smile 2!
1:58 my heart is pounding I thought that smiling young girl is gonna jump attack Naomi
@thelegendarymoviecritic Yao Naomi Scott is gonna be just so fantastic in smile 2
The Lil Girl At The End Got Me 😂Can’t Wait for Smile ✌🏽
This movie has been living in my head rent free since seeing it.
Smile was an epic movie , I literally appreciate the work of director who has beautifully potraited a Smile as a creepy element. Hats off
What I like the most the trailer is, after that mind-blowing head twist scare at the end of the first movie's trailer, this one's ending builds up to a similar jumpscare but nothing happens 😅
I hope that there will be another step and that the first part will remain simple. I hope that in this second part we will learn about this entity, where it came from, and what its exact story is, like the movie Alien
How many times have I watched this trailer? A lot. Am I going to still watch it? Yes.
For you to be "infected" by the smiling entity, you have to be traumatized after witnessing the previous person's death. But what if I'm a psychopath and not traumatized/desensitised to death?
Will I also be "infected"?
You might, that thing will find ways to break you, it can read you like an open book.
@@shenoyvaibhav9847 But what if all the pages are blank?
Call your therapist ASAP after witnessing such. Maybe you can beat it.
So you're saying I need to be soo unhinged so that the demon won't infect me,in fact I'm the one who'll give trauma to the infected person. lol Just won!
What if I commit a s***ide in my house instead?
Part 1 scared me with all my heart for this life. The smiling scene in the dark kitchen gave me goosebumps. No movie in my life has ever scared me as much as this one.
It was the ending for me when that creature ripped off its skin in the first movie
Yeah that scene in the kitchen definitely got to me too!
I S E E Y O U
yes yes , that image in the dark ....frightening ....
I had no idea that Naomi Scott was going to be in this! Now I'm even more excited!
It was on IMDb
@@silentskies Okay, well, I didn't look it up on IMDb.
I know her too, she did the paper as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin (Live Action).
My mom watched the first one on Netflix. I heard was very freaky as heck!
@@PuccaDomi_Happy I watched the first SMILE on Amazon Prime Video. Yeah, it was pretty freaky. Mostly the ending. I was introduced to Naomi Scott through the film "Lemonade Mouth". But I mostly got reintroduced to her when she appeared as Kimberly in the 2017 "Power Rangers" movie by Lionsgate. I'm upset the sequels they had planned for that never got made. And of course, we've seen Naomi in the last "Charlie's Angels" movie.
This is actually a really interesting concept, and makes a statement about very public meltdowns by celebreties we call 'crazy'.
This has been the most creative horror movie franchise we’ve had since insidious in terms of ideas. If we get more hints at the demons true purpose, name and nature that would be awesome, I think the lore should expand with each movie but not absurdly of course. I am beyond hype, and the marketing for this movie has been creative
Ti West's trilogy has entered the chat
True can't wait
How is this that creative? I get the first film was but this looks like a rehash of the first one with a popstar. Same premise, nothing new.
@@noahgegner6227 People just have different opinions, if it's not for you it's okay anyways 🤗
@@TommyDay-kq1jj I was genuinely asking. I wasn't calling them stupid for liking it, I just don't see it and wanted to hear what got them so excited so I can get excited too.
1:46 I didn’t know Nike was sponsored

🤦🏻♂️
0:56 me looking at bro in Minecraft when a anvil is falling onto my head
If the oscars didn't have that hatred towards horror films, I'm sure that Naomi Scott would have been nominated for an academy award.
or get a Best Original Song nomination
alot of panzys cant watch scary movies probably thats why
When they announced the sequel, I was hesitant. But after seeing this trailer, and the fact Parker Finn returns in the directors chair, with what looks like a unique spin on the first movie's message, has piqued my interests. Cannot wait for Octoer 18th, and wishing Parker Finn the very best for his next film endeavors!
This is giving me "Perfect Blue" vibes. Cant wait.
Relatable but the trauma of smile.
So much stuff has been influenced by it. And ripped it off
Mo from Lemonade Mouth finally went solo. SHES SO GONE! 🍋
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
1:22 this part scared the brain sell out of me😂😂
Didn't recognize Naomi at first but she looks great! So excited to see this in the fall!
Is that Kyle Gallner in that one shot at 1:39?
Yes. Makes me sad he won't be in the film much, most likely. I could be wrong though.
@@SubterrelProspectorI was thinking the same thing!
@@moodforeverlooks like it could be the beginning
@@skyguy_ofc I'm thinking the same , maybe her friend seen Joel suicide and it passed on to him . Maybe
Sure is.
Naomi Scott looking iconic 😍
I bet the guy who kills himself at the beginning is the one who runs Kyle Gallner's character down and the entity is transferred to him
Kyle Gallner is in Smile 2
That smiling demon was everything you could fear as a child I remember leaving the theatre I kept looking behind me to make sure that thing wasn't near me
I love Naomi Scott, and im extremaly excited to see her in horror movie. Especially from this franchise, 1st movie was rlly cool. Since the casting was announced I'm stressed that after this movie I'd be scared of Naomi's beautiful smile. But maybe she'll survive so it won't be necessary 😂. SO EXCITED to see her shine in new songs and whole movie in general. Huge fan of her since Power Rangers 🔥
0:04 that definitely give me the creeps when I saw this trailer for smile
Demon just doing his job
I have to press skip ad because of it 😭
1:33 Here's Johnny!!! Thats Ray Nicholson, son of the legendary Jack Nicholson, and the smile is identical to his father.
1:30-1:31-1:32-1:33-1:34
1:31 "Stop smiling at me" scene
If she's a celebrity, is she gonna have to distinguish If it's a normal fan smiling or the entity?..
Yes she does that in the trailer
@@buzzin_fly7509 Then what did she write at the end?
@@triciasennyk3067Her name
Was that Joel? 1:39
I believe so 😔
Yep 😕! I think this gonna be the opening of that sequel, right after the ending of the first movie
@@manuvilla2176that makes sense acc. The curse could be passed to someone else from Joel then to Naomi’s character
@@Matrixplayer_05 Yup ! Maybe Lucas Gage's character gonna directly witness Joel's death then the curse will go onto him and then Skye
If you notice he was getting shots by someone from the window
The fact that Lewis has that infamous smile = Guess who’s back for more terror ?
Just got out of the theater love this movie
Has it been 2 years already?!?! Gosh time goes fast
Don't forget to smile 😁
Should’ve called it Smile: 2 Death

The fact they didn't go with this is a genuine war crime
I first heard about the upcoming sequel when I was at a award thing with my mom and other members of making movies. I was shocked

Why am i picturing King Bach making a face like that 1:24 ?!🤣
“But that backflip tho”

Literally a king Bach face
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finally, we are getting new Naomi music as well 😩💅💅❤❤❤
YEAH! My thoughts exactly!
I know right can't wait
@shelbypowell4985 yeaaa so excited for it! She deserves more recognition
I was so hoping that the main character would be the policeman who was cursed at the end of the original film.
I think you can see him running at the very end of the trailer
1:30 STOP SMILLING AT ME!!!
1:30-1:31-1:32-1:33-1:34
The fact that so many people in the comments predicted the ending is hilarious. Shouldn’t have shown the concert clip.
1:33 anybody realise that guy smiling at Skye is actually the son of Jack Nicholson? Really runs in the Joker family after all.
1:30-1:31-1:32-1:33-1:34
Immediately I knew this would have a message of fame and popularity ruining mental health, since it the first film managed to do something similar to that
i am a big fan of horror movies and sad to say, most recent horror movies (even big names like Conjuring) are disappointing. However, this one really got me with the jumpscares! 10/10 would recommend!!! I haven't felt creeped out by a movie for so long and I was really pleasantly surprised. It's better than the first one for sure! However, the smiles seem to be less eerie (not as spread out as the first one)
This songs in the beginning sounds like a bop I hope they release a full version
They did, It's called Blood on White Satin

I sensed a bit of foreshadowing in the opening with the song:
"Might be a tragedy
Devastation right in front of me

Like blood on white"
Naomi and Lukas are amazing actors! I can't wait to see this.
